Woody's Pizza Cornwall in Cornwall, Isles of Scilly

While on holiday, we thought we'd try the pizzas at Woody's as we read some good reviews. We weren't disappointed. The saltbox has a really nice vibe with a mix of street food outlets and Woody's does great pizza. We had the carne and a pepperoni and both were delicious. The dips for your crusts were a great touch too. The two staff were friendly and we also liked that dogs are allowed in the saltbox. Next time we're in the area on holiday we'll pop in again for a Woody's.

Delicious pizza quick service, lovely staff. My friend and I tried The Bee Sting and Capricosa (sp?), loved it, Honey on a pizza is a game changer, will be back with all the family. Great space with different street food providers so everyone will be happy.

Amazing pizza, very quick service and the atmosphere is great ! This is part of a shared area of different independent restaurants, so you can order different cuisine and enjoy all together.

Woody’s came recommended, we popped in for a quick takeaway pizza after the RCS. The venue was busy, Two large tables enjoying their food, pizza’s in the oven, full crew of staff. As we approached the counter a young lady proudly and abruptly announced ‘we’ve stopped serving’. We would’ve been gone before other patrons had finished eating. Shame for the owner as his till is down, difficult to support local business if they refuse to serve you!

The staff were so friendly and helpful and the food was really lovely. Really happy with our meal. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Did a search for food as the pubs we'd planned on going to was booked. Came across Woody's and so glad we did. Set in a building selling street food in Wadebridge that we've never seen before their menu was great. Great variety of freshly made pizzas. The best we've had since I can remember. We'll definitely be back.

We arrived right on opening time at 1pm on a Sunday and had to wait 40 mins for the wood fire to be heated up, which was understandable. This place is in a kind of collection of small container food businesses, so we ordered some fries and rinks from another container to have while we waited. The girl at Woody’s was friendly and helpful, and once we got our pizza we were not disappointed about the wait! Brilliant pizza, worth going back for.

Set within the salt box bar, the pizza was great! You order your pizza and get notified when ready, they have seating both indoors and outdoors in the first floor, and you can order your drinks from the salt box bar. The timing of the order for food and drinks didn’t work as planned but it was ok for a relaxed family dinner.

The pizzas were great: authentic and delicious. The kids loved their margaritas and the grown ups devoured the spicier options. Friendly staff and a clean, trendy setting.

We wanted to come here for a little while. As they advised on their website, we booked a table over the telephone, and as my partner is disabled we explained would need a table downstairs. The girl in the phone said she’d check and call us back. She did and said absolutely fine for that and took our name for the booking. We made the journey ten miles from where we’re staying and we’re greeted by a young girl who was sitting on the floor on her phone. She had no idea about the booking and insisted we could sit where we wanted. There were no spaces downstairs, so we left as my partner can’t climb the stair. What a shame!

In a town like Wadebridge in the summer, there is a lot of choice for food, with lots a footfall from potential customers. So naturally there are lots of very accommodating, dog friendly, family friendly places all competing for your custom. We had arrived in the town (family of 5 plus a dog) early, so by 11:30am we were getting hungry and looking for an early lunch. We'd walked past Woody's Pizza earlier and thought it looked fun, so decided to head back and see if we could get something. Amy, the lovely girl working there, told us that the oven wasn't ready to cook pizza yet, but we were welcome to wait and put our order in. Amy was really helpful explained the process well, and although she couldn't give me a specific time the pizzas would be ready she'd do them as soon as possible. As a customer, I would much rather this than someone say it'll be 15mins, when there's a chance it won't be due to the organic process of waiting for wood to burn down. We ordered 5 pizzas, grabbed some drinks, it wasn't long to wait and the pizzas arrived in pairs. They were all lovely, expertly made and cooked. We'd underestimated how filling they would be, so ended up taking some away with us. The pizzas were really lovely, the service and how accommodating Amy was to our early arrival and ordering was excellent. Amy is a massive asset to the business, excellent at customer service and makes wonderful pizzas.

Great tasting, piping hot wood fired pizza just as it should be, cheesy garlic bread was awesome. Definitely try this it’s tops

We visited Woody’s Pizza after a trip to Padstow on our way back to where we were staying in Bude. My husband did the research and found they had vegan options. The Saltbox was easy to find and it looked like somewhere cool. A bonus was that it was dog friendly too! Both my husband and I are vegan and we were pleased to see vegan options. We both had the vegan pepperoni pizzas and I added olives to mine. Pizza was ready promptly (we visited on a Wednesday afternoon) and it smelt amazing. We dug straight in and I was not disappointed. The pizza base was perfect. Thin, light, airy and crispy without being too crispy. The homemade vegan pepperoni was delicious and cut beautifully. I only have good things to say about this place and I highly recommend a visit. It’s so clear they’ve put thought and effort into their selection and their vegan option is no different.

Set in amongst some other street food outlets in ‘The SaltBox’ next to Lidl, ordered three pizzas, Margarita, Cappreciosa, and Parma Ham. Proper pizza oven, really nicely cooked, great bases and really good toppings. Excellent, will definitely come back.

Fresh well blistered chewy pizza crust. Locally sourced meats add something different to the pizzas. Fast friendly service and not shy with the garlic on the garlic bread.

The pizzas were really nice, really cool location too. Would definitely recommend. Not particularly related to Woodys but my only issue was the amount of people feeding the big Labrador left over pizza (I think it was the owners of Saltbox maybe?) we only sat...

Has some pizzas here recently. Really good food, pleasant staff and reasonably priced. We had 8 pizza's between us - Margherita, Puttanesca, Filetti and Hella. All were really good. Will visit again when we return

Ordered a takeaway which was ready on time even though they were very busy. They were great pizzas which were very tasty. Only downside would be the Cheesy Garlic Bread we ordered which must have had about 37 garlic cloves added to it

I just had a fantastic wood fired pizza ‘zucca‘ which comprised a superb Authentic Neapolitan thin base topped with a roasted squash sauce, Gorgonzola, honey, oregano and chilli topping - A.M.A.Z.I.N.G - love this place and it’s pretty popular with the locals apparently, I can see why. It’s a covered area too so if chilly it’s ok to sit in and wait.

Ordered 4 pizzas on the phone in the afternoon to collect at 7 15 pm for our journey back to rendezvous with family 50 miles up the road. Went to pick up said pizzas and they apologised but we're very busy and they might be 10 mins. late. Fair enough,we had left time for any problems in the journey. After having to ask 3 times,they eventually turned up 30 mins. late.We were then faced with a tense trip while eating rubbish pizzas. Greasy tasteless and burnt.Sorry, I'll give praise on trip adviser when praise is due but really upset with the saltbox. £32.00 down the drain.

The most scrumptious wood-fire pizzas we have ever eaten! 8-10 pizza options available with vegan options too. No bookings for seatings and is a first come, first serve bases because of the limited seating.

Woodys is part of the Saltbox group of restaurants which share a seating area.They were super busy when we visited and we didn't realise that we needed to ring the Saltbox itself to book a table. (which caused confusion)The pizza was thin and crispy in a rustic style. My son gave it 11 out of 10 and finished it off in super quick time.The Saltbox seating is spread out to try to cope with covid and is open air so if upstairs it's not great on rainy days

We are a family of 6 who had booked a slot at Woodys. The ordering process worked brilliantly and service was really fast. We even got given free garlic bread and olives! The pizzas we had were delicious with at least 3 of our group saying that they were the best they had ever eaten! They even made a special one to cater for an allergy. All in all it was great value and great tasty pizza!

If you are looking for a real pizza at fair prices this is the place you want to go. Amazing dough, tasty ingredients, very polite and friendly staff. Highly recommended the "zucca" one with squash, cornish blue, mozzarella, origano and hot honey. Could not ask for anything better!

The BEST pizza I’ve ever had, including those I’ve had in Italy! Happy to add toppings and adapt for fussy eater. Super easy to order. Efficient with time given to collect. Really good price and you get a lot for your money. I cannot rate this place enough!

Tried Woody’s new venture at the recently opened Saltbox in Wadebridge. It’s a collection of shipping containers housing street-food-type vendors. Woody’s is one of the main attractions there. You can immediately see why once your pizza is served. It is cooked to perfection. Zdenko, the owner, has mastered the art of pizza making. The dough is probably the best I have tried. Our 7yr old son is a pizzaholic. Hands-down his favourite food. When asked what his favourite restaurant is, without hesitation he will say our local traditional Italian pizzeria at the top of our road. When asked if he liked Woody’s pizza. He said it was as good as, if not better than our local. The highest praise I think Woody’s could get! Will definitely be dropping in again very soon.

We stayed at Trewethett Farm Camping Club Farm and Woody and his Horsebox Pizza takeaway regularly visits the site.On the advice of the site warden, due to popular demand we ordered our pizza as soon as we saw his vehicle arrive. ( he tours the site hooting his horn before parking up).Our pizza was ready on time, good value and very hot and tasty, cooked in a charcoal pizza oven in the horesbox.

Arrived in Boscastle Friday and this amazing find was Woodys pizza, mobile 5pm until 8pm every Friday. His pizzas and bases are fabulously cooked in the traditional oven. The best takeaway pizza yet. Wish there was one back at home!

Superb tasting pizzas from a genuine wood burning oven. Woody serves sensibly priced pizza from a converted horsebox in a car park off Atlantic Road. The pizza tastes great and is value for money...and the owner is takes great pride in his business!

Top quality, tasty pizza. Good value for money and even better is the fact that 'Woody' drives onto the Trewethett Farm Caravan and Motorhome Club Site in Tintagel. Gets rave reviews in the Visitor Comments Book on-site too.

Woody's van was on site the day we arrived so we decided to try it out instead of cooking. So glad we did! Fresh, hand made dough with a delicious range of toppings on offer - the base was thin and authentically Italian and the wood fired cooking makes such a difference to the texture of the base and crust. Would not hesitate to order again. Chorizo/mushroom pizza was delicious.

My fiancé and I popped down to Woody's Crackington Haven pop up a few weeks and gave the pizza a try as we were thinking of using them for our evening wedding catering! We were definitely not disappointed! I had the Parma Ham and my fiancé had the Spicy Fennel Sausage one! It took approx. 30 minutes for the pizza to be ready but, as we were there at the busiest time, we were expecting a bit of a wait! Zdenko is fantastic - super friendly and polite! The pizza is the best pizza I've ever tasted. Great toppings and soft dough! Also, the greasproof paper in the box is a really thoughtful touch as it meant that we could recycle the box! We the loved it so much that we've said YES to having Woody's cater our evening wedding reception and we'll definitely be back at a pop up soon! ♡

A delicious, fresh pizza with a crispy, thin base and served in a very rustic style.

Woody’s arrived on the site we were staying on. Had 2 lovely wood fired pizza’s, which tasted delicious. And a huge tick in the box is that the pizza box was lined with greaseproof paper so you could recycle the box.
