Moganojax in Cornwall, Isles of Scilly

Recently tried these for the first time, and the family thoroughly enjoyed them. Will be back for sure!😋

Been a loyal customer for 20 years or so and wouldn't get a pizza from anyone else. Sadly they have gone down hill. Took longer that 45 mins more like 1hrs 10 mins not that I would minded the wait for quality Pizza . Said they were really busy so I can only get that quantity over quality now . The pizza had a slightly burnt top. The base was thin and a poor excuse for stuffed crust. It was just an okay pizza not a Moganojax pizza we were used to. Some of the topping was clearly missing and there wasn't the care taken with it . The "home made" Coleslaw was not creamy and looked like supermarket fare to be honest. There was not a lot of it either which was the same with the wedges. As for the dips the garlic dip was okay but the sour cream was thin and was not enjoyable to eat. In all for the money it was a disappointment. I see we are not alone from other reviews so there is no point in trying to pretend different. The previous management nailed it . This is not worth sticking with. I Deleted from my phone as won't be ordering again. Menu's in the recycling bin and unliked /unfollowed on facebook. Sadly things don't last forever and quality food from here is no different. We will vote with our feet and take business elsewhere. An honest and very blunt review. Very sad really as I always used to tell people how good this place was 🙁

Really disappointed. I've been a customer of Moganojax for years and my last few orders have not really been satisfactory. Waited an hour and 45 minutes for burnt pizza.

Amazing food. Fresh, tasty and lots of flavour. We always really enjoy our food from here. The service is excellent. The staff are so warm and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble when you have a fussy eater. They will do all they can to accommodate everyone’s needs. Guys you’re doing a great job and we’ll be back again soon.

I’m not easily pleased, I’m fussy and down right annoying customer tbh, but the customer service and food is one to rave about! They listen to what I wanted and it wasn’t an issue, they smashed it! The girl on the phone read my order back to me to ensure it was exactly what I wanted. The food was hot and didn’t take as long as said! (Bonus) but happy to wait when the food is worth it, full of topping, dough was crispy and fluffy. All high quality and cooked exactly how I wanted! Highly recommend!

Well if u want to wait over 30 minutes for food pre-ordered over 3 hours earlier then get yourself over to Moganojax where the staff front of house are kids more interested in their phones! No apology for making my partner wait after working all day and with people at home waiting. Didn't even offer a bottle of drink or any type of recompense! AVOID unless you're not hungry! Haven't actually tasted the food yet as still waiting for it to arrive but its already left a bad taste in my mouth and not even bothered about eating it now as so angry. Work hard and try to support local businesses, won't be bothering again.

Beautiful food! Lovely welcoming staff and nothing was too much hassle! Pizza was fully loaded and the garlic bread was insane! I know it’s been taken over by a new owner and honestly I think they are smashing it! Well done 👏

Ordered 14” pepperoni and a Moganojax kebab box and was not disappointed!! Absolutely amazing. Plenty of topping and so filling for the money. Will definitely be returning. Even my grandad who is very hard to please absolutely loved them!

Waited an hour in store for a sausage and chips and a couple of kebabs just meat and chips, Food was awful, tasted like it came from a microwave. Mayonnaise was strangely thick. Will not be visiting again.

Has the place changed hands recently? Nowhere near as good as it used to be. Seem to be using a standard spongy pizza base. No need for the new extended menu, with no room to change toppings. This used to be a 5 Star takeaway, now very average, which makes it quite expensive. Real shame

This was our favourite pizza place in the area. We used to get tasty pizzas here and any additional instructions were always followed. We started receiving pizzas that were raw in the middle, and our requests were ignored more frequently. Since moving to their own app and website, the order notes are either partially followed or not seen at all. Today, we waited for around an hour and a half for one of the worst pizzas I have ever attempted to eat. The instructions were not followed, it was drenched in an abhorrent amount of sauce, and was covered in so much garlic that it was like the cook was trying to spite us. I love garlic more than most, but there was enough on this to kill all of the vampires in the Twilight saga 30 times over. It hurt our mouths (and fingers), despite removing as much as we could, so we gave up trying to eat it. I wish I knew why Moganojax went downhill like this. We gave them the benefit of the doubt a lot of times in the past, but even if they were extremely busy, there's no excuse to serve customers inedible pizza :( their prices went up, but their quality went down. My only guess is that they took on some new staff who don't care about what they serve. We feel ill after eating only part of this pizza. Can't justify buying anything from them again

Amazing, they even gave me a free drink because it took half an hour insted of 20 minutes to make!

Dog sitting at Mother and Father's and they left us money to get a takeaway. So after a brief argument on whether to get pizza or kebabs we compromised and got both from Moganojax! I saw on Facebook that they had started to do kebabs and was not disappointed, couldn't even finish the kebab it was so stuffed and the chicken was delicious. With the pizzas as good as usual and a cheeky biscoff waffle for dessert 😋 delivered in under half hour too! Just wish I still lived in Redruth as it would be the go to takeaway for me!

The best pizza I have ever had, been ordering for more than 10 years! We still have it every single Friday, staff are so friendly and will definitely continue getting food here for years to come!

Wrong food came the first time, to follow food my food was taken to another house and was taken back and brought straight to me was lied to by manger over phone about what was happing to with my food deliver. Was offered a full refund after 10 minutes of arguments over the phone with the incompetent manger. unfortunately did not get the name of said manager I work in hospitality and the attitude given was unacceptable especially because the mistake was from the establishment !!!

Pizza turned up vegatables were raw everything was undercooked ended up throwing two pzzas in the bin. Was disgusting. Just as well of thrown 28 quid in the bin

Well that was amazing as usual, pizza was cooked perfectly with no grease and the potato wedges was nice and fluffy. 10/10. Delivery was less than 45 minutes.

I haven't eaten pizza this good in over 30 years. I am sad for two reasons. 1. Now that I no longer have family in Cornwall, when will I get to eat it again and 2. I hoped to enjoy their pizza again on my last night but the oven was broken 😢 Delicious, fresh ingredients. Great combinations. The delivery driver was very nice and our pizza arrived very quickly. If you are lucky enough to live nearby, give your taste buds a treat.

Thank you guys for another awesome pizza. Despite the fact that I always order a dairy free pizza that is more work because of all the extra precautions that you take to keep me safe. I never get anything but kindness from your awesome team. You have no idea what a difference it makes when you place an order an nothing is to much trouble to make sure you have a great experience as an allergy sufferer. Sadly they won't let me rate you 100 stars yet.

The best pizza I've had in a long time with a varied menu and plenty of topping options. Sizes up to 14" and with a stuffed crust option, can't go wrong!

We tried to order online & it was NOT easy or successful?! But after a look at the menu & a phone call, the guy took our order! He was polite, friendly & helpful & delivery was quick. Lovely young lady delivered our food with a smile :) Our Cheese/Tomato garlic bread (pizza) & our 14” create your own pizza was delicious with plenty of toppings too. I recommend adding the rocquito peppers, sweet & tasty! Head & shoulders above the usual Domino’s pizza rubbish. Thank You!!

Wow best pizza I've had in years! All the other local pizza takeouts just haven't got what it takes.. this one has. Absolutely loved it. The online ordering system is not as user friendly as we're used to but who cares when you get pizza as good as this... Yum!

DISGUSTING ATTITUDE! (20-Aug) have been visiting this place for the last 10 years when calling through the county. Bigged it up all day to our friends... Pulled up 15 mins away to place our order and collect, couldn't get the website to work and phone line was down. Decided to just travel to them and order in person. When I arrived (wearing a mask and standing in the doorway) I got shouted at and told to go away to order delivery, I tried explaining that we don't have an address locally and we are passing through they shouted "well that's tough then, go to Dominoes." Absolutely baffled, I asked "I don't understand, why can I not set the address here and collect?" She shouted "havey you not heard of Covid?" I respectfully replied "yes but why is it an issue to collect if you put the boxes outside the door? It saves driving" And I just got shouted at more "it's called non-contact...my husband had diabetes..." She then slammed the door on me. Totally ridiculous situation, we specifically made an exceptional effort to give them our business, despite a dodgy website and no phone line, and all we got was verbal abuse and totally disrespected. We actually we would have saved them more unnecessary contact and capital overheads. After their behaviour and attitude, I will never go here again.

First time we have ordered from here, we had the monster munch for 4 and was defeated! Fabulous pizzas and fantastic value, much much nicer than dominoes. Delivery was exactly an hour from ordering not bad considering it is a Saturday night. Will definitely order again from Moganojax!

Great choice of pizza, especially the vegan toppings. Much better value for money than Domino's. Recommend Moganojax highly.

We ordered over the phone for a weekend treat, and ordered their monster munch deal which was good value. I was impressed with the speed of delivery, the food arrived within 45 mins. Yummy pizzas as well, with lovely fresh dough and generous toppings. I will definitely be ordering again once lockdown is over!

First time I've tried Moganojax and I will definitely be back. Excellent menu, easy to order online and delivered within the hour piping hot, so service is excellent. We had pizzas with sides of stuffed jalapenos and bbq wings and everything was delicious.

We ordered a pizza and some sides but sadly the wrong pizza had been sent out. We phoned to let the staff know and they were very apologetic and understanding. They offered to send out the correct pizza and it arrived within minutes and piping hot. Excellent customer service!

I hate takeaway pizza. Especially overpriced stingy topped Dominos. I’ve had better pizza from Iceland. This was amazing...quirky menu...arrived when it said it would...hot and very tasty!!! Highly recommended...well done Moganojax..(I think that’s how you spell it)

Got take away from here whilst I was at work. Was very fast delivery and quality food would recommended ordering food from here.

Not the cheapest but by far the best take away pizza we've had (much tastier than Dominoes!). The kids were greatly amused by the entertaining menu, though we went for the more bog standard toppings...

This is by far the best pizza takeaway we've ever had. We live 'up country' in Leicester and always always have a Moganojax Pizza delivered to Cambrose Campsite whenever we're down there. Needless to say the Moganojax menu is stored preciously in our campervan drawer ready for when were lucky enough to come down to Cornwall. On Sunday we placed an order for £160 (family gathering) and it all arrived piping hot and as stunning as ever. The whole order was delivered correctly and as stunning as always. I wish we had come across this place sooner. We had a selection of things on the menu and every single thing was beautiful. We ate much much more than we should have - but just could not stop!Ordering was simple and delivery was quick.

We have long been loyal customers of Dominos as no other pizza takeaway business has proved tasty or consistent enough in comparison. We were most pleasantly surprised to discover Moganojax and have regularly ordered from them since. Feta and tuna is my personal fave and the pizzas are piping hot, beautifully made and fresh with generous toppings. I would recommend them wholeheartedly and they have now become a firm favourite when ordering a takeaway :)

We decided to have a pizza tonight and we had our usual stuffed crust sunshine 12" and had it delivered. Great pizza and very quick delivery.

We were recommended this as something different to the standard Dominos takeaway and we were not disappointed! So many options to choose from, all cooked fresh, with delicious local ingredients. They often do voucher codes too so keep an eye out - The only thing I would say is that the website was a little frustrating as there weren't many photos of the food but all work in progress! The food is amazing! x

All in all the food was very tasty. Unfortunately it was let down by the 9" pizza being much smaller than expected.

It's a family run business and they are actual human beings compared to the overpriced corporate beings that are dominoes! The chicken fillet nuggets here are by far the best I've ever had!! Seriously good pizza with plenty of options to choose from. Always great service and delivery price is exceptionally good value!!!

Decidimos recoger en un fin de semana. Las pizzas eran de un buen tamaño y un montón de abastecerse en el vegetariano, pero me pareció que le faltaba sabor y no parecía tener ningún salsa de tomate en la base. La pizza de carne tenía un montón de vegetariano topping, pero casi ningún carne. De nuevo le faltaba un poco de sabor. Ambos estaban bien preparado, solo necesitaba un poco de salsa de tomate en la base y un poco más de carne y hecho trabajo.

Es nuestro favorito para llevar Moganojax familia. . ofrecen pizzas recién hechas para recoger o entregar. Son muy razonable comparado con el de los nombres de High Street. También tienen ofertas especiales ofrecen comida.

Had a pizza from here last night for the first time, it was awesome so tasty.I used their online service with delivery very easy to use, the lady who delivered it was very friendly and polite .I will definitely order from them again,(fudge cake also very good) highly recommended

Esta pizza tiene que estar en la cima de mi lista de favoritos. Hacen todo tan bien. La barbacoa de pollo relleno pizza crust es inigualable y su Chili Burrittos y arroz un firme favorito con nosotros. Gran poder llevar ordrered en su sitio web y entregado a su puerta. Hay muchas cosas en el menú podría seguir para las edades, pero no como he hecho yo hambre :)

Ofrecen unas pizzas preciosas incluyendo algunas con inusuales combinaciones. El pollo banana y chili uno sonidos desagradables pero tiene un verdadero desconectar y sabe muy bien.

What is there not to love? Excellent pizza's every single time( had one from the new dominos and doesn't come close) fresh, not over cooked and loaded with topping, the potatoe wedges, deserts...could go on and on...and they deliver. Recommended...
