Such a little gem of a cafe. The food is excellent. Really good quality ingredients. The staff are so lovely. I’m a regular for an all day breakfast. Best on the high street by far.

Stopped in for a quick catch up with a friend yesterday as hadn’t seen them since lockdown. Had a cheeky slice of cake and a Latte which I really rated. Lovely friendly staff and a quite relaxed environment to have a catch up in.

We were out for a walk around village with our 18 month old granddaughter and popped in for a morning coffee. I can only say, "What a lovely place" . Quaint, yes, but what a lovely warm friendly welcome. For us it was a latte and hot chocolate, both excellent, along with a homemade bakewell tart which could not have been bettered. This teashop is well worth visiting.

This place could be ok if the staff were more friendly and smiled occasionally, also they like to give you much mayo and if you ask for more they look at you with a death wish, won’t be going back

It doesn't open until 10, so I can't get my breakfast here, otherwise I'd probably visit more often! Nicely decorated, good range of sandwiches/paninis/toasties all made to order, plus yummy cakes, and the coffee isn't bad either! Haven't tried the hot food options, but they do look good...

Set inside the local antique/second hand store (which gives it a niche feel from the off), this café offers personable service with great value (portions are BIG!). Well worth the visit and in comfort and 'nice tea-house' surrounds

I sit here writing this review with a bacon Panini in my hands - one of the most delicious I have ever tasted! My partner and I have been going to this café, and getting take-aways, for nearly two years now. It's good to see that they have recently started offering Sunday lunches as well, and we look forward to trying them. Woodstocks is one of those places that genuinely brightens up your day. The staff are really friendly and accommodating and the food is excellent (and very reasonably priced). I would highly recommend this café if you are visiting or shopping in Burnham. Please keep up the good work.

With time to kill for an optician visit, we called in at Woodstocks Coffee and Tea House, where we warmly greeted. It looks as if it is part of an antique shop, as they share a common front door, but I doubt there is an ownership connection.I opted for a hot chocolate and my wife for a cappuccino coffee, bothe of which were superb. I tried their walnut topped sponge cake and my wife a gorgeous large muffin. Both excellent. The prices were reasonable to low. The atmosphere typically quaint English teashop and next time I am in Burnham, Woodstocks will see me again

Being new to the area, we discovered Woodstock's when very hungry, having just moved home and not having had time for breakfast. The welcome was warm, staff friendly and the café was clean. We chose a very reasonably priced 'All day breakfast'. The portions were huge (not a complaint !) but unfortunately we both thought the sausages tasted of cereal rather than meat. Perhaps the owner could re-think their choice of produce, perhaps charging a fraction more or reducing portion size and instead using locally made tasty bangers...just a thought.

We frequently visit Woodstock after we have done our shopping at the Wednesday village market. The welcome is always warm, and we enjoy our coffees and sometimes a cake. Occasionally there has been a mistake on the order, but it is always corrected immediately with no fuss, in our experience. It is a popular venue and deserves to be.

It's a while since I last posted a review so in this follow up I just want to state that the experience of Woodstock remains consistently high.I am now on a diet but the owner, Kim & her co worker also Kim provide a most hospitable welcome. There are a range of sandwiches, baguettes & paninis. With a wide variety of fillings, there also quiches homemade soups & jacket potatos. They have a loyal clientele but compete with one of the chain of coffee shops. If you like a independent place why not give it a try, I assure you you'll be pleasantly surprised.

This cafe shop has changed owners & now Kim who is the new owner is keeping the previous menu but introducing a new one next year..the staff are friendly it shares the premises with a antique shop. One change in the menu is that now the soup is homemade, but the sandwiches baguettes & paninis are still available.as you would expect there Is a selection of coffees & teas & soft drinks. So if you're visiting Burnham I suggest you drop in.It makes a change from the coffee chain shops.

My husband I visited Humphrey’s for our anniversary. The menu for vegetarian was so disappointing. The items on the menu were a mismatch , there was no specific cuisine type. I ordered the pea and mint soup as a starter. I had to ask for Salt and pepper as there was no seasoning . I couldn’t taste the mint and the soup was gritty. It was not smooth. Perhaps it was not meant to be, but seasoning should of been there. When the waitress asked how it was, I was honest and said it was not great . Her response “ ok” ! My main was chosen from their main menu, rather than the vegetarian menu ( as it was not enticing) I chose the mushroom risotto. The waiter told me that they can make the risotto vegetarian friendly (without Parmesan) . The dish arrived and Again no seasoning. I thought it was me being pickey, so I asked my husband to try abs he agreed , it was flavourless. I asked the waiter if they can add seasoning. He told me that due to no Parmesan the taste will be pretty much the same. You think being a fine dining restaurant they would have vegetarian alternatives to parmigiana cheese ( even I have in my fridge ). I then asked not to bother to remake with seasoning and thought maybe something from the vegetarian/ vegan menu will be better. I chose the spaghetti in tomato sauce. I was better of not ordering it and eating the bread. It was something a child would eat. If an Italian came To eat this , they would be appalled. I ate 1/4, out of politeness. I didn’t say anything, as at this point I just wanted to hurry up and leave. Final course chocolate fondant ... finally something that was great. I wish I had just gone straight to the dessert . When the bill came, I couldn’t believe that my tasteless meal cost £68. How can spaghetti in some tomato sauce cost £22. I have had some amazing simple pasta in fine dining Michelin star restaurant and willing to pay high price. But this, as I said is something a child would get at school. Also my husbands food was great , crab, prawns to start and halibut for main. That I understand to £68, but for vegetarian it was ridiculous. Even in Michelin star restaurant, the set menus or tasting veg menu is a little cheaper , so this place is just taking advantage. Vegetarian/ vegan food has come a long way and many chefs have learnt the art to take a vegetable and turn it into a incredible meal. This place has clearly not adopted this and think serving some spaghetti in tomato sauce with no seasoning is fine dining! Even other items on the veg menu didn’t look great. If you are vegetarian/vegan, do not eat here. Plus side, deserts were great and main menu was good ( according to my husband)
