Wonderful Wok in South Tyneside

Super noodles were better than the chow mein we got tonight... Soggy overcooked tasteless....paid £29.30 for meals that tasted terrible, when I called to complain I was told to return the meals to get a 10% discount off our next take away...I don't think so we won't be returning we would rather order with a take away that cares for their customers...AVOID!!

Still think it was expensive. Delivered on time, hot and ready to eat. Tasty chicken curry, chips and a beef garlic chilli. Like the title says free prawn crackers!? Every other takeaway gives you them?

Ordered a takeaway for a family or 4. Overcooked , cold, tasteless and bland. Rang to complain and was told that unless we sent the entire meal back the manager was prepared to do absolutely nothing . Appalling customer service . Gave one star as can’t give zero.

We’d really fancied a Chinese takeaway and chose the wonderful wok to try out. Plenty of variety and tasty sounding meals, delivered hot and early. All of the food was excellent however adding sundries to extra cost of mains meant it was more like restaurant prices.

Food was very good - but please be honest in your estimation of delivery 50mins to an hour quoted when I asked before placing the order- actual time was 1hr 35mins - driver told me that they were absolutely manic busy (which is excellent news under this pandemic) and they only had 3 drivers covering the whole area of Shields/ Jarrow, Hebburn - guys just be honest with timings- or bring another driver in, especially if you’re that busy - I should have collected in hindsight- but was OK with the 50 mins - which then didn’t happen- I will still reorder in future

Would recommend wonderful wok, even when busy they deliver quickly. Friendly staff and will try to cater for your needs. Good size portions

Great little find. Clean shop. Friendly staff. Good quality food. Decent prices with a good portion size to match. Overall great shop we will be back no complaints.
