I have tried to order from these guys twice on justeat and both times the order was cancelled. If you dint want to do delivery breakfast, take yourself off the apps! Its just frustrating!

A little off seven dials, a Norwiegen style coffee house. Nice and pleasant, liked the handless mugs and the muffins and sticky millet bar. Can't understand the comments about bad service, it was all fine to us.

Been visiting this particular branch of Wolfox (in fact since it opened). Staff were always friendly, sandwiches and pastries fresh as baked on site and the coffee was always excellent. Went away for a few months, came back to find the most appalling customer service - went in there several times in the last few weeks. EACH time one of the staff just stood there behind the counter with her arms folded, and glared at you when you placed your order, trying to give the impression she’s doing you a favour! Tables now are constantly uncleared, used tissues and cutleries left lying around, and chairs strewn all over the place. Wiping tables clean clearly was not part of the job description. The ‘new’ staff couldn’t even make a decent coffee - twice now coffee was too hot and burnt! Pastries were stale and our simple orders were forgotten. Too busy glaring at customers perhaps. You couldn’t get a more unwelcoming atmosphere with below standard food, which explains why many regulars are now missing. Management obviously doesn’t care so good luck in the current climate!

This review is about the Brod & Wolf cafe on Church Rd. The food is a little pricey but good quality as is the coffee, however the manager is the most miserable individual I have had the displeasure to meet. I’ve been to this cafe on numerous occasions, the staff cannot raise a smile, they are slow and they are more interested in each other than their customers. The manager barely acknowledges people who visit regularly, she borders on being passive aggressive in the way she communicates. All we want is a decent coffee and a friendly atmosphere to drink it in. They would be full all day if they changed their management and attitude. What a shame.

There are so many of these Wolfox outlets in Brighton & Hove and I’ve tried two separate branches and given up waiting to be served and ignored by staff. Twice now I’ve walked out without being served or even a nod to show staff have seen you are waiting. They seem to get customers, but I must become invisible when entering their door. Five minutes waiting today, no acknowledgement that I’m there waiting, they seemed to have some customers, but not over busy. Just seems rude, and I’ve not experienced this elsewhere.

Found this cute little place online mainly for their coffee, but it turned out to be the perfect lunch place whilst floating around Brighton. The avo toast was delightful, and the açai bowl (first timers of the açai life) was packed with flavours. Chia pudding is not for picky eaters, but we liked it! The little seats out front are the cutest for a brunch date/people watching, 100% recommend here!

Disappointed. Spent a small fortune on a take away, only to get home and discover the 2 pieces of banana bread we’d bought were complete stale and dry. They were rock hard and not edible, so went straight in the bin. Completely unacceptable to serve up such poor quality.

I am so glad that Wolfox is investing so much in great coffee and plant based food. The venues are all beautiful and cosy. #love

I shan't like, @Brightonbrunchandmunch and I are partial to brunch, it's a weekly event. Something we look forward to, and are rarely (in the fine food surroundings of Brighton Hove) left underwhelmed. Until today that is. Wolfox is popping up all over town like herpes, so we thought we'd best take a visit to check out what the hype was all about. Sadly, it was nothing but hype, that 90's PR vibe, comparative to the Wonderbra. Looks superb from the outside, but the contents are somewhat underwhelming. There were 5 teenagers attempting to run a very busy establishment. Not an adult in sight. So as you would expect, a slight whiff of chaos. Despite ordering everything together all three brunch dishes came separately with no sign of a badly needed coffee. When we asked for this again it magically appeared, well, the barista boy actually made it. As for the food. Let's just call it 'beige'. Two slices of white cold toast mascaraing as sourdough with pre-packed butter (the shame), a bowl of a cream whipped cream-ness for my dear friend and a bowl of wannabe granola for myself, which in fact was an entire bowl of blitz nuts - even a post-fasting squirrel would have struggled with that one. As we neared the end of the attempt to 'consume the beige' the coffee arrived. Marvellous. We contemplated telling the waitress that the point of a silencer over a juice blender is just that, for silence, so we can actually have conversation over our nut-tastick, creamy-beige underwhelming brunch. Needless to say we didn't bother. Nor will we be back.

It is so refreshing to go into a cafe and see smiley faces from the staff! The staff went above and beyond to ensure I received the best service. It really made my day how well they looked after me. The food and coffee was great too! Will definitely be returning and tell all my friends. Thanks Wolfox!!!!

Over £27.00 for breakfast for two, consisting of two coffees, two small (250ml) bottles of sparkling water, and two mains! The smashed avocado on toast, was £7.00, then £1.00 extra EACH for three cherry tomatoes, one small portobello mushroom, and two small strips of grilled halloumi! Not going back, prefer to go to the Ivy in the Laines at this price!

Came here on Saturday with a friend for brunch, we were very lucky on one of the hottest Saturdays of the summer to get the last table sitting outside on bustling western road. Me and my companion quickly decided what we wanted, You have to go up to the till to order but then all food and drinks are brought to your table. I ordered a coffee and apple juice which came within minutes, following the drinks being delivered breakfast followed shortly after - I would say no longer than around 6 or 7 minutes from ordering brekkie we were eating. I had eggs royale which hit the spot, and my friend had a full English of sorts which consisted of 1 of each breakfast food (1 sausage, 1 egg, 1 bread, 1 bacon, 1 hash brown) which looked small initially but apparently was very filling! The coffee was also gorgeous. I will definitely come back but this time will not risk it and I will book a table outside in the sunshine!

Went with my partner for a nice bit of brunch. Ordered avocado on toast and extras of egg and halloumi. It came with neither, I had to ask the waitress for the egg and then also the hallloumi. Instead of taking the plate back I was served the egg and halloumi in a separate side plate so by the time I got everything the toast was cold! The poor waitress did apologise however I have never been in a place where my order has been so wrong and the correction so poor. Food tastes ok but not really worth the price, would probably have tasted better if it was warm. You can definitely get better elsewhere. Would not recommend.

Consiglio

I'm sorry I have to leave this feedback but I hope it gonna help to improve your kitchen work.Since I saw a new menu with loyalty card I wanted to try a few dishes.First was smoked salmon and eggs and the taste was very poor. Had a few bits.Today I tried my luck with Full English. Ahhh...The eggs were raw, bens cold, mushroom watery and uncooked. Presentation worse than in a builders cafe where you can close your eyes on it as food really tastes good and costs £5. So for £11 I ate bread and 2 bacon slices + small sousage which was the only thing which tasted good.No mayo at all, all other sauces empty - 5 bottles available, all empty...Thank God coffee tastes good.Really disappointed guys.
