We’ve ordered from this Chinese through a couple of different companies (Just Eat and Uber Eats) on a Saturday night, the food is always late 2hours late and takes multiple phone calls to chase it up. This time week we’re offered 15% off next order but we won’t be using Wokstar again.

Ordered a delivery tonight through just eat. We have previously had poor experience and told to order direct but to be honest that was no better. Thought we’d give it another go tonight but even worse. Ordered at 7, after chasing it up a number of times, it eventually got delivered at @ 9pm (and 45 minutes after they told me it was out for delivery). It was warm, food average(not brilliant) but at 9 pm I just didn’t want it anymore and most ended up in the bin. Delivery driver should at least carry some complimentary prawn crackers to placate annoyed customers a little. Won’t be ordering again after years of doing so! Wokstar - if it’s going to be 2 hrs make this clear at time of ordering, don’t lull people into making an order expecting it to take an hour for it then to be delayed by an hour.! If your busy, stop taking orders! 🤷🏼‍♀️

Rude, unhelpful, dismissive. Didn’t end up ordering. Have used many times before, food has been good before, but not worth tolerating the bad manners at the counter. There are many other takeaways in Worcester. I won’t order from here again

I honestly don’t get the bad reviews! Most of them are delivery company errors!! Food from here is and always fantastic, my only fault would be, throw in some free prawn crackers to regular customers 👍🏻

Wokstar gets my vote and in a city with many Chinese restaurants and takeaways to choose from is no mean feat. I always pick up as this takes about 15-20 minutes instead of crazy long delivery times. Don’t be blinded by dissatisfaction in delivery times. This is seriously good Asian food.

Orderd through just eats , 1 he 55 later after I chased through just eats they dropped order !! Sat waiting and if I had notice could of ordered elsewhere !! Not the first time they’ve done this , should be struck off from just eats !!! Terrible

I placed an order with WOKSTAR in Worcester at 18:43 and had an ETA of 19:43 at 20:22 our order hadn’t arrived I called the restaurant and they said they said “the driver is leaving now, the driver should be there within 15-20 minutes” I explained that I wasn’t happy, they apologised. 20:54 still no order they said they will call the driver and call me back. They did call back at 21:10 just as the driver delivered our food and offered us a 50% discount, then within 10 minutes another driver knocked on our door and had our same order which explained our issue. He then took that order back with him and was just a confused as we were. 2 hours 25 minutes for food not a very happy customer here plus the food was cold.

I will always order from here. Amazing food and I felt important when I ordered my food. They allowed me to have curry sauce with chicken balls... which by the way absolutely amazing!!! Salt and pepper ribs... oh.my word so many flavours!!! Beef chow mein... say no more... spile to Aaron was very helpful food easily 10/10!!! I'm a chef myself I qnd I understand they get busy but it's due to quality!!!! RECOMMEND!!!!!

Ordered a Chinese on a Saturday evening. Waited around 1 hour 45 minutes when Chinese still hadn’t turned up. I ring the restaurant and they provide no help at all. 15 minutes later we get a text saying Chinese has been cancelled. Do not recommend a takeaway from this Chinese.

Always use Wokstar, never had a bad once from there and always within the time stated if not before. Either ring up or use their very easy to use website.

The worst Chinese I’ve ever ordered. Wish I’d read the reviews before. Greasy, tasteless and poorly cooked. Avoid.

Ordered this evening was expecting a wait,delivery time was estimated 1.5 hr which was fine . 1.5 hr late , cold food THE most useless phone call to store. Rude and the most pathetic excuse of a customer assistant on the other end of phone. Have tried to ring to get refund as food is so poor but no answer . Busy I get but acknowledge and be professional . Very poor in all aspects

Food never arrived. When trying to contact the phone line was constantly busy… will never order from here again! Order was placed at 7:45. Its now 10:43 and still no food. Worst place ever!

Terrible food and terrible service. They forgot an item of my order and refused to deliver it even after I offered to pay for it again. The most greasy prawn crackers I’ve ever had. Stodgy Chicken balls and dry rice and raw chips. Utterly horrible.

TERRIBLE SERVICE, FOOD NEVER TURNED UP!! Placed order via just eat at 1855, order due for delivery at 2020, called the restaurant at 2030 to check where food was, told it was with the driver for delivery ( side not restaurant is only just over a mile from my address) at 2045 still no sign of food, called again and was just fobbed off. Still no food by 2130. Contacted just eat for a refund. Very disappointing restaurant, do not use!!

Very testy and presentable food with fresh ingredients, my favourite dish is the king prawns with chili and peppers as main course where melt to your mouth and chicken ball, staff very polite and professional. The best Chinese in Worcester. 😋😋😋

Order was meant to take 1 hour. Then it was upped to 1.5 hours. Then 2 hours. It was marked as delivered but we hadn’t received it. Then we called them and the person I spoke to assured me it was with the driver. 20 minutes later, it was here but had definitely just been cooked. Delivery from here used to be great but the last time I waited 2.5 hours before I called yet again and requested my money back. The lies was the most annoying thing.. he’s just left, then we haven’t got a driver then it’s just about to leave then ... after 2.5 hours I can’t tell you when you will get it.

Ordered on a Saturday night and was given a 45 minute wait which was fine, after an hour and 15 minutes (30 mins) late I phoned to make sure the order had gone through because I done it via “just eat” the girl on the phone was very miserable sounding and just stated it was with the driver “just like she’d said it a 100 times” another 30 minutes passed and phoned again because I only live a two minute drive from the shop and yet again she stated it was with the driver, at this point I’d started to look into cancelling it and giving up when the door knocked and the food was finally delivered.... the food was greasy and tasteless and I won’t be ordering with them again and I advise you readers to do the same

The flavour is there but the food is completely wrong. I have eaten Thai food my whole life and worked in traditional Thai restaurants and never seen a Thai green curry that is the consistency of water?! Prices are good and cheap but so is the meat you are paying for. Maybe try getting a new chef ;)

Ordered food from Wokstar, only to wait an hour and 15 minutes and it still hadn’t come so I called them and they said it hadn’t started cooking yet. They asked if we wanted prawn crackers adding to our order as an apology but you get prawn crackers free with orders anyway! I got passed on to someone else on the phone who said “so you’ve been waiting 1 and a half hours?” I said “yes.” He said “can you wait 15 more?”. No apology or anything. We had to wait another 25 minutes for it to come so we were eating our dinner at 9pm

Ordered food at 2012 on a Friday night and sent an email confirming the booking stating delivery time of 2144 (it’s 0.4miles from my house!) at 2153 I phoned and informed ‘it’s still cooking’ and would be another 20 minutes.... at 2230 (yes 2hours and 15 minutes for 4 items!) delivery arrived NO apology or anything!

Order mild curry and got spicy a few times never again abouselt pants don’t listen to what you order don’t order

Waited an hour an half for Chinese did not turn up went to work hungry not even apology when I phoned up won’t be going there again had one the other night it was cold give them them the benefit of the doubt but no better don’t use them

I chose this takeaway as it was close to my hotel. Complicated menu especially if you know what you fancy but cannot make it up from the menu. Chose in the end the chinese noodles with duck in a szechuan sauce. OMG!! Fab choice, perfect noodles, medium hot sauce and the duck was delicious and I had it larged for an extra £1!! Really realky good food, thanks

Use this place all the time, but had the half a duck tonight. Best duck we have ever had for quality and quantity!! Most of the take away has been frozen because we can’t much more!!! So good

I have used Wokstar before and had quite good meals from them but for the second time we ordered food at the weekend and had to wait ages for our food to come!

Ordered whatever took my fancy as a sharing dinner for 4 adults. Only ordered from Wokstar as there was a discount on Just Eat.

Arrived late evening mid-week to grab some quick food. Went in to order and was confronted by loud music coming from a young mans phone who was sitting on the counter, two other young girls who were obviously enjoying some joke as they were laughing and screaming hilariously, and then finally I was asked what I would like.

If you like Chinese then you have got to try this brilliant take away. Their delivery service is great as well.

Wokstar put a flyer through my letter box advertising 10% discount online so we thought for a change we would try them for a takeaway meal.

Each time I've ordered from wokstar on just eat my order has taken ages... plus parts of orders have been musing but it's that late and your that hungry there's no point ringing back to ask for your missing chips... or noodles... The sweet and sour sauce tastes weak and wig no taste and the spring roll was just appalling... I wish this Chinese can turn it around as it's the only one I know of that delivers in worcester!!!

Everything I have tried on the menu seem to be ruined by the excessive amount of garlic. Delivery always gets extended so can be waiting for 2 hrs. So not good delivery service. The last dish I had was shredded beef. I was so sick after. Will not be using this place again absolutely dreadful food!!
