Happy Garden in Worcester

Been ordering from Happy Garden for a good few years.. tonight they got our order wrong, when I called them asking them to replace the wrong item they’d delivered I got called I liar & had the phone put down on me.. we definitely won’t be ordering from there again.

I have ordered and had food from here regularly. Food is very tasty and hot and very generous portions. The munch box is highly recommended great place. Defiantly if you love Chinese this is the place recommended

I find it hard to believe that it takes 2 1/.2 hours to get a delivery I appreciate its a Saturday and sure busy but that length of time for a delivery is not acceptable would I use this take out again no not in a million years

Started getting takeaway from here recently although some of the reviews were bad, the food and the service were good. Staff always been friendly, food on time and always tasted good. Come back regularly since.

It seems that this place has new owners. They have taken quite a few items of the menu. The lady serving behind the counter was more interested playing on her phone than serving. Would not be going back

Quality of food and service has declined recently

If your REALLY drunk and don’t mind eating different food than what you actually ordered that has very little meat in it and EVERYTHING is COVERED in chilli to hide the fact it’s tasteless, with spare ribs that are 90% bone, plum sauce made with pineapple, no concept of the difference between fat or thin noodles, with burnt chips on the side, ordered from really rude staff on the phone… then THIS is the place for you!

Dreadful service. Made an order and enquired about free spring rolls as advertised on their own website. Was told website is out of date, asked total amount of order and was told £27.40. Delivery driver came and bill was over £37. Won't recommend or use this place again

Love the food. Never had any problem with what was ordered. However, when the telephone receptionist changed, she was very abrupt, repeated things too quickly so it was hard to actually understand. Hopefully the other one will be back at some point. The mark down on rating is only because this. Everything else is absolutely fine.

Always our go to Chinese but the past few times we've been we have been treated bad by the lady on the front. Rude and abrupt because we interrupted her phone time. Last time we go there !

The young girl's attitude on front desk taking the orders is anything but happy! If it wasn't for the fact that the food is amazing, we wouldn't bother ordering. I witnessed her slamming phones down on people and eye rolling, all whilst on her phone with ear pods stuck in. Absolutely shocking! Needs a few courses on customer service and basic communication skills!

Lovely little Chinese Takeawy, just off the main road. Food's excellent, so are the prices too. Service friendly also. A lovely hidden gem.

Ordered a takeaway on Saturday 15 th April was told our delivery would be about an hour to be delivered . Telephoned to ask where our food was I was told they were busy and it would be an extra 30 minutes and still did not arrive Don’t lie about the time food would be delivered this is not good service

Used to be a good takeaway, but the management changed, and now the service and quality of the food is consistently lower. It now has changed to cash only for payments, so not only is there the inconvenience factor, but also a possible tax avoidance liability!

Tried to go to their website and got all sorts of alerts about serious security threat to my phone after looking at an adult website! Told me I had 39 viruses and wanted to redirect me.... Luckily I have a good security package so knew this to be fake..... VERY DODGY!

The whole meal was overcooked, chips were like cardboard and the chicken balls were dry, everything flavoured with salt, hadn't had takeaway for a while, won't be having another.

Used to be a good takeaway, but the food and service has dramatically declined since the management changed afewmonths ago. After several years of accepting debit cards, the new managers changed to cash only so it's obviously some kind of tax scam.

Sat 28/1 had a Chinese with my daughter. The duck was mushy, odd taste, no crispy bits but a lot of fat and skin. No lettuce or spring onions which ruined the meal. Chips were good, just as well really.

Placed order for chicken curry and special chow menu without onion. Was told cash only…. A bit dodgy!! Arrived to collect order but the receptionist struggled to take her eyes off her phone…very rude. Arrived home with our order to find we received a king prawn curry and the chow mien had onions in it. Both meals were extremely salty Will not be returning

Possibly the cheapest place into Worcester for a good Chinese. Good quality products too! Always a nice welcome when I enter to place my order, staff are friendly and helpful. Really would recommend this to anyone who wants good food and a fair price.

Very poor take away ordered our takeaway at 7.30pm rang up at 8.50 they said it was on its way 15 minutes later had to ring again (takeaway only 5 minutes away)10 minutes later it arrived drive said so sorry but when we rang up the first time to see where it was he was still sat waiting for it will not use again 😤

LATE and RUDE and food was delivered cold and soggy due to being in a car for half an hour! Never again

Great takeaway, 5 stars! Everything tasted fresh and well cooked.

Won't be ordering from here again. My king prawn Cantonese style had no peppers in it. The batter on the prawns just tasted of chip fat. I now have really bad stomach pains and diarrhoea!!! The fried rice was OK.

7/10 on food as usually very good quality, but occasionally can be by far sub standard (pork that even a dog will not chew), customer service is a take it or leave it style, delivery times are in or around (as in + or - a long time) and opening hours are as and when pleased, All in all would use as last resort or when don't really want to drive to other local Chinese take aways.

Nice food and very generous portions, always very busy on a Saturday and Sunday. Worth noting that they only take payment in cash. Highly recommended

I previously rated this place with 4 Stars. Tonight the food was disgusting. The chicken balls were full of fat. I couldn't eat them. I don't enjoy giving poor reviews but the chef must have known the quality of food he/she was cooking. I'm saying no more, just take a look at the photos

I order from them regularly and have never been disappointed, since they always do my favourite Crispy Shredded Beef just right.

I'm always a bit sceptical about getting takeaway, but I was not disappointed in the slightest. Quick, affordable, delicious and authentic range of dishes. Thanks guys, keep up the delicious food.

This is a great takeaway always a good meal and very reasonable prices. Great delivery service and very quick can obviously take a bit longer at busy times such as weekends but still good. Use this chinese regularly. Would recommend. A little hidden jem 💎

A hidden gem, consistently Great food.

Just recently the food has gone from average to exceptional. Our last 2 visits have resulted in thoroughly enjoyable meals.

Absolutely disgrace!! Ordered vegetarian spring rolls as I'm vegetarian and was horrified to find I was eating chicken! Absolutely disgusted to find they had given me one vegetarian spring roll and one chicken spring roll which clearly shows they mix up vegetarian sides and dishes up with meat ones! And to make matters worse when I rang up to complain all the said they could do was provide free spring rolls for the next order we make! Certainly would never go here again absolutely disgraceful so little care that they had just made some who had been vegetarian almost their whole life eat meat.

Brilliant Chinese, never been disappointed and they are very forthright when it comes to allergies. My wife has a severe pea allergy and they will always be sure that no peas are in her food.

Just thought I'd Order from happy garden, as I'm staying away for the night and wanted some nice food, but instead I ring them and I give them my address which is an apartment easier enough to find with the postcode. They tell me 30 minutes wait and then ring me asking me where I am I then give them directions and tell them I'll wait out side so they can see me as they pull in, no show. I still continue to ring and ask, they were just shutting and told me the driver knows where he's going and wouldn't tell me how far he was going to be leaves me waiting to not show up!!!!!!!!!!! When I could have ordered from somewhere straight away, lucky enough other places were still open! But if your in an apartment make sure you tell them where to go and keep ringing them so they don't mess you like they did me! Poor excuse of a delivery! Wouldn't even give these people a star!!!!!! Let alone 1!
