Too rushed! Gr8 food but too rushed!

Food surprisingly came out fast so you don’t have to worry about your 2 hour slot Every dish was better than the last Waiter team was very attentive to our every needs including picking up plates we were finished with, replacing them with clean ones, asking if we wanted more drinks or water to go with our food, etc Portion of food was very considerate of the number of people on the table Price was quite cheap for an all you can eat buffet Favourite dish was prawns with cashew nuts

Not so great for take away... Have eaten at Ruby on a few occasions and usually very good. However, ordered a takeaway and the food was not great at all. The Crispy chicken in Thai sauce was just dry pieces of chicken and a pot of sweet and sour on the side. The duck pancakes were all pancakes and no duck! And the cucumber was almost liquid... not good! The man who served me at collection was not exactly polite and welcoming, which is fine, if you are serving great food. Not so much if you are sending out small portions of not so great food. Prawn crackers (which I though used to be complimentary when spending over £50) were not included and when requested paid £2 for a very modest bag. I certainly would not rush back to order a take-out.

Amazing! The food is outstanding and the price is very good for what we are given. I could eat for hours here. The food is top notch, very fast service. We received our first set of food about 3 minutes in to sitting down. So good for when you're hungry. The staff are also polite, amd can clearly see the chefs working hard and doing the best they can to provide us with great food! Amazing

Went to Ruby’s last night with friends who were visiting and you did not disappoint, the food was amazing as always and the taste is so much better than any take away, it was so hot and fresh and our friends were amazed how good it was. Thanks Ruby’s for a truly wonderful night and introduction for our friends. We will definitely be back.xx

Nice food staff very loud maybe some of them could try smiling a little bit more, if you're buying a takeaway maybe a good evening how you would go down nice and a bye thank you for your service in stead of bellowing out your name and pushing your order towards you

Absolutely disgusting takeaway. First time back after a number of years and it has really declined. Tasteless, fatty and just poor quality food, both starters and mains. Service was stroppy too. Avoid.

Love this place. The food is amazing. The service is fast and its usually so busy that the atmosphere is awesome. If you live in or are visiting Worcestershire and you like Chinese food, definitely give Ruby's a go!

Every time I go here, I swear to go more often because their food is lovely and the service is excellent. The waiters are really attentive and responsive. Food portions are sensible and I've never been disappointed by anything I've ordered.

Had a takeaway just and I’m utterly shocked at how bland it was. Not just one of the dishes but all of them :( was really looking forward to this as had heard good things but probably won’t ever go back now

Long wait to pick up food which had been sat on bar the whole time. When they called me up I questioned the length of time it had been sat and she didn’t acknowledge me. I took out some of the food and felt the container. It wasn’t hot at all in fact not even very warm. I told her about it and all she could say was “well we’re very busy” No apology, no offer to put it right. Ended up leaving most of it. This is the third time I’ve picked up food from there and it hasn’t been hot. They haven’t got the staff to cope when it gets busy. I’ve also had a member of staff raise their voice at me because I couldn’t hear what they were saying over the loud volume in there. I used to come here a lot but too many disappointing meals. You like to give them the benefit of the doubt but only so many times and I will go elsewhere from now on.

What can I say. Ruby's is fantastic for an all you can eat cooked to order meal. Thank you

Great food, great value for money and really friendly helpful staff - highly recommended for takeout; I haven't eaten in but it's got plenty of seating and is nicely laid out- always has plenty of diners so that's a good sign!

Been here twice in the last month, not as good as it used to be IMHO. Some food quite bland eg Hot and sour soup ( one of my favourites) weak and watery, chicken satay skewers, golden asparagus and others nowhere near as tasty as they used to be. Disappointed, will give it a miss for a while and hope it improves.

Food was ok nothing to special, I feel it was over priced and bill needs to be checked, they tried charging a child as an adult, there were 3 payments in the party on the table and they tried saying we had £24 left to pay but was only £3.55, don’t think I’d pay to go back. Much better places

Following a major refit I was deeply disappointed by the lack of attention to detail...the quality of cleaning was shocking and the toilets were very dirty and dated

Rubys used to be the best but recently they have joined in with shrinkflation by making the dishes on takeaway smaller and even cut down on the amount of prawns they put in their curry along with price increases. I will have to find another takeaway in the future.

This was my 1st time dining here but definitely won’t be the last, the food was outstanding and the service was brilliant. We were a party of 6 and everyone ordered something different so I tried quite a few dishes and they were all delicious. Top class restaurant A++++ from me

1st time visit, my partner took me here as she has been multiple times and i have to say it lived up to the reviews, we tried almost every starter and 2 mains each, and every dish was a 5* dish. will be visiting again very soon.

Decent enough place to eat although the food is a bit samey if you have visited a few times you can tell the food is cooked in bulk and some dishes are slight variations of the same dish.

Everything was very tasty, service was spot on.

Came here for my dads birthday meal and was utterly disappointed. Can appreciate it’s a busy Saturday evening, however you don’t expect to be shouted at when ordering and spoken to like something from the bottom of your shoe. Can confidently say we will not be returning as it ruined the whole experience.

Sunday lunch , great experience . 9 of us had a great selection of food . Given great friendly service. Topped off by really reasonable prices. As a ps you will not go home hungry you will be lucky if you can move🤭

Family birthday meal. Couldn't wait to get out of there! Rude staff, food thrown at you and snatched away! You think your getting all you can eat starters but between a table full it's nothing, the individual main would fill a teacup. The screaming drunken clientele gave us a headache,we could not hear eachother speak! It's like a cattle market and all they want it to get you out as quickly as possible! Won't be going again, next time somewhere with class.😡😡😡😡

Completely wonderful. Food was so good and the service was super quick and attentive. Was sat in the back room by the kitchen and could hear the chefs singing. It was super sweet and really made us smile. The staff were all lovely.

I LOVE this place, great dishes all cooked fresh. Quick service and friendly staff. My favourite dish is Mongolian lamb. Only slight disappointment is lack of parking spaces.

Went here with a table of 7 people expecting it to be a reasonable family buffet. the service was aggressive with the feeling given of "hurry up and get out" that said the food was almost inedible with the meat dishes being undercooked (ie ribs should be slow cooked until it almost falls from the bone, these were deep fried and coated with some kind of red sauce that tasted like watered down tomato ketchup thickened with cornflour!) these were inedible as were most of the meat dishes. The vege dishes were again tasteless and again thickened with some kind of tasteless clear gloop. Enough said it would have been better to go to a restaurant and had proper Chinese food that was enjoyable and edible, or go here and fill up on rubbish! none of my party will ever go back again so an expensive meal for us but an even more expensive one for Rubys, sorry rubbys you must do better.

I hadn't been to Ruby's before and it had been recommended so after axe throwing in town we caught a taxi over the bridge. I kind of wish we stayed in town. The staff are quite abrupt tho the restaurant was nice. It's a good menu but portions are quite small when your sharing with a number of people. It would be easier if you could pay at the table.. it was a scrum to pay at the same time as people ordering take aways.

Wow what can I say, absolutely delicious!! We have eaten in before but the takeout was the best takeaway we have ever had from anywhere!! Highly recommend and it will now be our go to takeout Chinese!!

I'd read reviews saying they rush you and take away food while your still eating... they are not wrong! I had to tell them on several different occasions that we hadn't finished and to leave the plates and drinks on the table. And they do hover over you. Food nothing special either. Alot of dishes overly sweet and the lamb was slimey. Very limited parking. People parking on double yellows. This was at peak time tho. I won't go back.

Food is good and service is fine but unfortunately only care about business and no consideration to humanitarian issues, I slipped outside the restaurant as it was raining after dinner last night and sustained a head and face injuries and was bleeding profusely, fortunately my son was able to get some ice from the bar to stop the bleeding and to call the ambulance but disappointingly no one from the restaurant came out to offer any help or first aid support which is a shame Business is not only about money from customers you need to show some humanity as well in this country

Can’t beat this place for Chinese food in worcester 5*

Food was amazing. Politeness of staff a little less so. I know they were busy but having change chucked at you when paying and scraping a plate in front of you then placing it back in front of you I felt was a little rude. But as said food was great. Just a little bit of politeness and evening would have been faultless.

Always an excellent restaurant to visit for special occasions. The atmosphere and the general ambience is fantastic. The dishes are always very well prepared, presented and served authentically. The restaurant is excellent value for money and well worth a visit.

Great food and plenty of it salt and pepper chicken wings are one of my favourites.

Fantastic Cantonese Restaurant in Worcester... a real hidden gem! Those that haven't been, you really ate missing out. Food is fantastic, atmosphere is great, we have been infrequent visitors with work for some time now and I simply cannot fault the place, first class each and every time. Those looking for Mongolian / Cantonese food in Worcestershire then this really is the place to be!! #CarLeasingGuy highly recommends the Ruby Cantonese. A massive thanks to the staff for always making us feel so welcome.

The food was top notch came out very quick and nice and hot.we had the buffet 9 of us nice selection of starters to share .also great choice of mains .as long as you eat you can order more they adopt a policy regarding waste which is very good as no-one likes waste the staff were very polite and professional in there jobs .a nice place to experience different dishes a bit expensive if you don't eat much .or have children over 12 as they don't eat much or if they are fussy.all in all a great experience. Why I marked down one star is .its difficult to get up the stairs if you have walking or disability issues a struggle getting into the restaurant but once in no problem .perhaps they could consider some form of ramp.all in all top food and enjoyed.this is one of the issues which would make me think of returning.which would be a shame.

Had not visited here for about 3-4 years so decided to go with a friend to try it out again. Nice decor, full house of diners, and busy. We were seated straight away and they explained how the "all you can eat" service worked. Price now up to £18.50 Fri & Sat or £17.50 Sun - Thu. Go there super hungry, I would suggest! We ordered a variety of starters and mains. All very good and sized appropriately for sampling incase you might not have liked it and also so you dont fill up to fast. We ordered drinks and dessert afterwards (not included in all you can eat price). Food arrived quickly and freshly cooked. Overall a nice experience. Service was very good and friendly. Will probably visit again in future. £55 for dinner for 2.

We've been to Ruby for both take away and all you can eat on many occasions and always find it great. On this occasion we did the all you can eat with friends and we all really enjoyed it. Great service, fast at clearing away empty plates and food came out quickly and piping hot. We all left with Tummy aches but not because the food was bad but because we were so full. The all you can eat is around £17.50 per person on a weekday and £18.50 fridays and Saturdays, children are charged at around £8.95 & £9.95. Lovely little restaurant, highly recommend it! Thanks to all the staff that made our evening an enjoyable one with great food :)

Found an hair in our first starter ,which put us of the rest ,staff rushing you to much .one male waiter quite rude .wont be going again .
