Worst restaurant that I have been in for service Arrived at 7 15 got seated ordered our drinks and food Drinks came quickly but waited and waited for starters Noticed others dinner's seemed to be waiting for food to arrive After 40 minutes asked about our starters told would be couple of minutes Nothing came after 25 minutes no starters so we paid bar bill and left

horrible experience.. im not ordering food from here again.. ordered king prawn chowmein, and it comes with no sauce, and no taste.. amd it looks horrible too 😢

We have eaten in the restaurant several times and everything was always good, but we ordered a TAKE-AWAY last night and a couple of the dishes were absolutely awful, the first dish of Sizzling Fillet Steak/Prawns/Scallops in oyster sauce was tasteless, very pale in colour & did not look appetising at all..the steak was not fillet steak, it was processed fatty meat with an almost chemical taste to it (RANK!) scallops were chewy & prawns bland, tasteless & very pale in colour, almost transparent, the oyster sauce was like dish water. That dish was £17 and went straight down the waste disposal! The rice was sticky all clumped together. The Total bill for a take-away for two people was £47 so not cheap, very very disappointed & annoyed!! I will never order from here again!!

They missed off my rice and didn’t do anything about it , curry no rice! Very poor!!!

Came here with my mum tonight around 19:30 on a Wednesday, was lovely and quiet, the service was immaculate and food was outstanding ❤️. Crispy fried beef, fillet garlic steak were both freshly made and timely 👌🏼. 10/10 - Definitely coming again

We ended up in this place unintentionally. The atmosphere is good. We ordered starters the chilli salt pork was superb (we ordered on more portion). The chicken wings were also good. Singapore fried rice was ok. Chow mein was better.

ordered 2 chips only got one. The chips we did get were over cooked. The curry had a weired taste. The beef tasted funny. First timing trying here. Will not he a again. Expensive for what it is.

Whilst visiting Worcester we thought we’d try out this takeaway due to raving reviews online. So can’t comment on the service or atmosphere as we ordered through Uber eats. We were all left very disappointed, the food came barely warm/ cold despite the delivery being prompt. Overall the food is dry, the meat seems like it has been pre cooked and left in the fridge for days, just not fresh at all. The food is bland other than the heavy taste of salt and grease. And noodles in the chow meins were those really skinny ones which were all mushed together. Portion sizes also on the small side, not filling the rectangular takeway tubs fully. Currently opening a case with Uber eats as it cost £76!!!!

Amazing quality food! Actually had meat on the ribs! Only thing was they forgot the rice but just eat refunded me for that.

Price of the food is unbelievable extortionate for what it is. Salt and chilli chips are not chips, they are thin fatty fries.

I Absolutely adore this place, me and my family are from hong kong and find the place incredibly authentic in its cuisine. We and the owners of the shop became good friends over night and they give great service.

food was greasey. Most of the chips were hard couldn't eat them. Beef curry and curry sauce all had a layer of grease on. Also they don't keep you updated on when delivery coming. Not ordering from here again

The food was average. We opted for the set menue but were a little disappointed on quality & taste. The front of house lady was very friendly & polite but maybe engaged in conversation too much when we wanted to eat . Our biggest observation & criticism was being served by people dressed extremely casual (puffa jacket , T shirts & jeans ) who were clearly involved in the taka away & delivery side of the business . Their age is not an issue but clearly they were not trained and/or experienced in this industry. I prefer a cider to a beer & was delighted when they advertised Magners only to be told they did not have any cider. By chance I overheard staff saying they were going to purchase additional drinks from the local Tesco Express. I later agreed to have a cider (Bulmers) on their return. It cost us £66 for an average meal, poor drinks availability & what I would describe as disappointing service. With a fantastic choice of great restaurants in Worcester, we won’t be returning in the near future.

Take away was appalling Food arrived very late and cold. The chilli prawns and chilli beef were mainly raw onion chunks and prawns had no chilli. The special rice was disgusting and was curry powder flavoured. Will never order again. To add insult to injury they refused to discount. Don’t use!

Absolute joke of a restaurant. Ordered a takeaway. Said 40mins but took two hours. Ok these thing happen but to be told it was in its way multiple times when it wasn’t isn’t good but then ultimately we got it cold and were told it had been delivered to the wrong address and when this was figured out they went back to the wrong address, collected it back of them and then took the same food and delivered to us is just an absolute joke. They refused to give a refund. This is nothing like the old owners who were great, but these are a joke

We used the delivery and both dishes came with King Prawns and they were truly disgusting. It's difficult to articulate how bad they were but they were like car tyres that had been left out in the sun for 5 Years. A real shame as the sauce, Rice and noodles were great. Wont be using again

Fantastic family run restaurant who really cares about its customers excellent food and service with a smile. The whole family came and talked with us as after a long day we didn’t realise that they had such an extensive menu to offer. We will definitely be going back again.

Been coming to this restaurant for the last 5 years and sorry to say we wont be going back, its certainly gone down hill, food was diabolical, bland, tasteless, chips were scrat ends, curry was like a tinned curry with bits of meat in, worst ive ever had, to be honest if id have been paying the bill...i wouldnt have paid as left 3 parts of it

I have genuinely eaten better Chinese food at a buffet in a hotel in Kenya, which was cooked by Kenyan chefs would had no knowledge of Chinese cuisine.

We were served quickly and enjoyed our quick meal before cinema. Some dishes were quite salty but others were good. I enjoyed the sizzling duck. Great friendly staff.

I understand it’s a Saturday evening and busy, but the delivery was late and the food was stone cold, this made the food stodgy and chewy, very disappointing as it’s the first time we have used this particular takeaway.

The food arrived late and when I called the shop they were rude. The food then arrived in a bag where the sauce has leaked and its stone cold. I have a photo and would like to request a refund.

Above the door it says that it's a Cantonese and Vietnamese Restaurant I'm not going to be sorry for writing this review it has to be said. Please bear with this it's detailed and exact.. The only thing we found to be slightly Oriental was the prawn crackers. Starting from the beginning. we entered this empty restaurant and that should have been the warning to go no further we were the only diners. Our visit was on the Thursday evening at the start of the Victorian Christmas Fayre and the area was very busy in fact we walked past one other oriental restaurant and on looking in it was very busy. We were greeted very warmly by a young man who was polite and friendly shown to a table and given a couple of menus . He returned with Prawn Crackers in hand and asked us if we wanted any drinks we decided on a bottle of wine (that was the second mistake Tesco price plus over 200% mark up) The Quality of the food was shocking... much better could be found in a cut price supermarkets frozen food area. Also it would be a bigger portion for half the price. We ordered the Mixed Special Curry. Beef,Chicken,Char Sui & King Prawns, (The curry sauce was the powdered mix with water type the Beef was chewy and managed to hide the King prawn not Prawns as listed on the menu) The other main was a Malaysian Clay Pot Rice Noodles detailed as Vermicelli noodles with broccoli, mangetout, baby corn, carrots, straw mushrooms cooked in a traditional Chinese clay pot (I suspect that it was never used as a cooking pot and was really just a serving pot which cooled really quickly we are still looking for the straw mushrooms) We washed it away with a pot of Chinese Tea which was lovely The bill arrives with 2 unwrapped chocolate after dinner type mints. We paid  £43.65 for the above and it was shocking if you enter there do so at your own peril. You have been warned.. I'm not sorry for posting this and I'm all for supporting small independent businesses as long as they provide value. This place doesn't..

Amazing lunch deal. Not a bad choice for a lunch deal and we all enjoyed the food. The service was efficient and friendly. Slightly dated place but clean and overall recommended

Had a takeaway from here, Singapore chow mein and prawn toast. It was late for a start. Overpriced and was tasteless. £7.40 for 6 small pieces of soggy prawn toast and £11 odd for a chow mein with no taste. Wouldn’t go hear again

Nice meal this evening. Good selection of vegetarian options - mock meats are made from seitan. Restaurant is dog friendly.

Re heated chips and prawn curry not very nice,

The meat in all three of the meat dishes was awful. Tough, chewy and inedible. The salt & chilli chips were actually fries and were totally tasteless. Most of the order was cold. Exceptionally expensive for incredibly poor quality. Most of it went in the bin.

Had a couple of takeaways from here recently, including one delivered. Have to say the food is fresh, tasty and the people always friendly and welcoming. Delivery was prompt and food still hot. Definitely recommend.

We had an 5:30 take-away and at home opened the worst food we've ever had, anywhere. Absolutely no culinary effort. The portions were small, and the food was stale. We tossed the whole mess. It may take years to forget this one.

So disappointed with this Chinese. Most of the food was genuinely inedible (noodles tasted dirty, like mud? Chicken and duck tasted like funny chemicals…) we had to throw most of it away. We’ve eaten from so many chineses and aren’t fussy at all - we get one every week!, I’ve never written a bad review on a Chinese before! But this was genuinely dreadful. Half the food was missing too (which they did deliver about an hour later). Even the chips were wet and soggy and just awful, they were supposed to be salt and pepper chips but just had some onion slices thrown in. Also I will add, the portions from here are HALF the size of any other Chinese I’ve eaten from. So considering it’s a fairly pricey Chinese anyway and you’re getting half the amount. Please just avoid. I’ve never ever had to throw Chinese food in the bin due to the whole family saying it’s inedible.

Went here to celebrate Singapore National Day as a group of 6 ex Singapore friends. Decor fairly ordinary, but the food was excellent. Incredible range of Asian dishes, so spoilt for choice. Wine list average but OK. We were strongly advised on number of dishes, which was about right, if slightly too much. Good value for money.

Chicken balls were terrible. Rock hard with minimal chicken. BBQ spare ribs came in sweet an sour sauce instead. Crispy shredded beef was ok but to dry.

Had a takeaway delivered from here, unfortunately was way below expectations. Had the chicken rendang and claypot chicken, but was nothing like how rendang and claypot chicken is supposed to taste. Was expecting better food based on the ratings unfortunately was left a little disappointed.

Food was terrible. Ended up throwing it away. It's a real shame as I have eaten from here before yet it was really awful. Hardly any meat in the curry and the sauce was watery. The chicken balls were over cooked and dry.

Don’t bother Ordered a take away tonight firstly they forgot the rice in our order THE RICE !! One of the main ingredients so phoned and said they would send rice to us in 15 mins 40 mins later take away now cold and no rice so phoned again and was told delivery driver had to deliver to someone else first !! So rice turned up take away re heated and what a disappointment no flavour at all do not bother ordering from here we won’t

Long time customers, always enjoyed the food whether take out or eat in. Not tonight; ordered a range of starters (crispy duck, chicken/lemongrass skewers, ribs, prawn toasts) and two mains (chicken chow mein and beef satay, plus egg fried rice). The duck was all crisp and no duck - completely overdone and just pancakes, no hoisin sauce or veg, the prawn toasts were overcooked and had an overbearing background flavour of stale oil, ribs had almost no meat and the chicken skewers turned up as something completely different (possibly the chicken, lemongrass and shallots main - which was OKish). The satay was inoffensive but didn't really taste of anything, the egg fried rice included multiple dark offerings (burnt grains or egg, not sure which) and had an odd flavour. The chow mein was at least edible but not up to previous standards. I understand from other comments that the restaurant has had a recent change of ownership - sadly I think we'll wait for the next one before returning.

Will not be ordering from here again, chicken tasted off, noodles in chow mein were dry and hard, garlic and spring onion rice had so much garlic in, it tasted horrible and only a couple of tiny pieces of spring onion. Asked for refund and was refused!

Delivered quickly but chips looked like they were a day old and been warmed up. Curry was mostly onions. Bit disappointed as had great reviews.

We had 1/4 duck, tofu & vegetables, mixed veg chow main and chips. The food was hot, fresh and tasty - it's not the cheapest but is definitely worth paying more. We would have like greater choice of vegan and vegetarian options which are GF. Also, theres a number of fake meat dishes but no explanation of what is used? Quorn? Soya? Mushroom based? We are not really into fake meat so would love to see more creativity for non-meat dishes....something like mushroom and broccoli with cashews . There is so much to create without using meat or fake meat. We still stand by 4 stars because what we had was delicious. Thank you for free prawn crackers too!

Was in Worcester for Easter Weekend. Stumbled into this place because we forgot to book elsewhere. Wasn't too busy for a weekend considering the place across the road was packed, this should had been our first red flag. We was greeted and seated promptly. We was confused with the menu. The sign says Chinese and Vietnamese food, but the menu was a mixture of what I can say is mishmash of Asian cuisines but Vietnamese. Sorry I retract that they do have Vietnamese Spring Rolls, just not pho, bang mi or anything that one would associate with Vietnamese food. Seriously...if you dont serve Vietnamese food don't have it on your name. save us folks the disappointed...red flag no.2 Drinks arrived promptly however all the glassware really could have done with a good polish. Lip marks and residue stains was a really turn off. Food wise starters was average a little greasy but acceptable. Mains was just bland, I could not tell whether I was eating beef or chicken just no flavours at all. Honestly my local Chinese takeout could do better. Portion sizes was okay but I rather pay more for some quality ingredients. Service friendly but not attentive enough. It had picked up a by the time our mains came out. The server literally plop the food on the table and dashed off. Denying us a chance to order some more drinks. We could of order a additional 1 or 2 rounds of drinks if someone would had given us the light of day. All in all this experience was just sub par, misleading name, cluttered menu and dishes, flavourless food we won't be returning in the future.

Easily the best Chinese in Worcester in fact, the best Chinese I have EVER had You get what you pay for. One word. Unbelievable!!

We visited the restaurant last Saturday evening, there were 15 of us , but that didn’t daunt this lovely family run business at all , the food was excellent, some of our party have travelled extensively across Asia ( not just for a 2 week holiday either ) and were very impressed with the standard of the authentic food , the service was fantastic nothing was to much trouble, we all said we would be returning very soon , we’ll done .

If you want even slightly authentic Chinese food, don't bother. Totally agree with David4holidays. Don't have a menu that doesn't have the produce because "we only opened today(Wednesday) and haven't got all our produce. Their Malay dishes are NOT even close to being Malay. Even though there was only one other table in the restaurant, there was absolutely no service.

could not believe the delivery, when the food arrived, i would say the containers were about half the size of a standard Chinese, they were not even full. The food had no taste. and half of what you would expect. 2 main dishes a rice and a starter £33.00 disgusting. Don't order a delivery from them

This used to be our go to Chinese restaurant/take away in Worcester and have been using it for years. We never had a bad meal there and it was generally considered to be the best Chinese in the city- the food was fabulous. We ordered a delivery on New Years Eve and it was really disappointing. The sweet and sour chicken was inedible- dried up over cooked pieces of chicken that were like bullets. I hear that the restaurant is under new management and can only assume that things are not up to the old standards.

Not quite the same now that it’s under new management. It’s the small detail that’s lacking. Food was hot and fresh but distinctly average. Staff friendly but not at all attentive to the table. Had they been, I’d have probably ordered more drinks. And it wasn’t particularly busy. Lots to improve on, hope they will, but it’s not somewhere I’d rush back to any time soon, which is a shame.

Visited as we were at the Christmas market. Paid £7 for a gross takeaway in a polystyrene carton. I think we must’ve had the scraps of chicken curry. It was watery, and hardly any taste at all. These businesses complain when nobody goes to them. I’m not surprised if all the food is this bad. Avoid!

I’ve recently had 2 takeouts from this restaurant and both occasions we’ve been really impressed. Probably our go-to Chinese in Worcester from now.

All the staff were very friendly and courteous they couldn't do enough for you, the food was top quality and pipping hot! Would visit again a real gem.

Really nice Chinese restaurant that I never knew existed! I had sweet and sour chicken and egg fried rice. Very tasty and better than a lot of Chinese in Worcester. I’ll definitely return to try some more of the menu.

This is a fairly standard bistro style chinese restaurant. A fairly standard menu with all your favourites. Service was good. The food was good. Exactly what you want from a Chinese restaurant. Good value for money, good food without any pretentions.

The best spicy crispy shredded chilli chicken I’ve had - and I’ve had a lot! Lovely restaurant with excellent, friendly, quick service and tasty, well-presented food.

Absolutely delicious, couldn’t ask for more. The surfaces we immaculate, the staff were amazing. All in all was a great experience and would definitely recommend!
