Appalling please avoid - late, cold and wrong dishes - it doesn’t get worse !! After service awful !

Delivery over an hour and a half after time given on Just Eat, thats over two and a half hours after placing the order.This once excellent and consistent business appears to have gotten greedy. Its a shame after so many excellent collections and deliveries in the past years.

This has to be the best Indian takeaway in the area. Amazing food and very friendly staff I would highly recommend this takeaway delicious food. Can’t wait to be in area again for there great food.

I cannot fault the food in the slightest, it tastes better every time. The best Indian around and probably the best I've tasted. The service is spot on and really friendly. These guys obviously care about cooking great food and work hard to achieve it. Thanks for keeping me fed over the last few weeks. Ive been in and out of hospital and they have never failed to deliver for me, hot and tasty. Highly recommended.

Since the lockdown I have had Indian deliveries from a number restaurants in Wokingham. Deliveries from my usual favourites have been disappointing and I put this down to supply issues. However, my recent delivery from Wokingham Tandoori was excellent. Delivered early the food was tasty and portions even more generous than usual. The Wokingham Tandoori also deserves your consideration due to their donations of meals to Health workers!

Ordered Indian takeout last night, Sheek Kebab starter, King prawn Curry, Tandori chicken masala, saag aloo, cauliflower bhajee and rice with naan. They were very busy and said so when we placed the order, could have picked up but we requested delivery, meal was fantastic, piping hot, fabulous flavours could not fault it. They were very busy but still managed to deliver within time scale stated and what an excellent meal it was,Thank you guys:)

Delicious food, arrives in good time and piping hot. Very tasty. Can highly recommend the Chicken Dhansak, for an extra kick we had it a bit more spicy which they are happy to do.

Absolutely vile food got told an hour delivery on a Monday took an hour and fifteen Naan bread cold Sag paneer tasteless and like gone of cream Onion Bhaji burnt and falling apart Sheen kebab absolutely tasteless Chicken tikka very bland only good thing was Tarka fall Used to work for these and delivery for twenty odd years for Indian take away and by far one of the worst I’ve eaten

Stay away from this place, we just had a delivery and it was totally disgusting food. Naan wasn’t cooked properly, curry was all sweet with some fruits in it!! Had to chuck the whole thing in the bin as we couldn’t eat it. Waste of money, never ordering again!

Cold food, despite waiting in shop for 40mins. Naan doughy and undercooked. Threw it away. Sauces/dips paid extra for and didn’t receive. Wouldn’t order from here again.

I am shocked at any good reviews this place has we ordered our food and the order was wrong, the naan bread cold and burnt, popadoms stale, curry was flavourless, the meat is cheap and tough I don't believe it is actually lamb, and the service recieved over the phone wasn't great. The staff had a problem with having to re deliver our food as we are in Bracknell and they are in Wokingham (this is Well within normal delivery guidelines for distance) one of the owners turned up said he will have to charge us for petrol! And proceeded to tell us to order closer to home as he thinks it's to far and his drivers weren't happy! Well learn to prepare your food to a decent level and start employing staff who want to do their jobs! We will not be returning and we do not reccomend.

Normally ok but standards seem to have dropped. Rice tasted burnt, pupadums tasted stale. The order wasnt delivered hot, some of the order was missing with the option provided to wait 10 mins or waste my evening trying to get the items refunded via an online order service. Will try the other restaurants in town for now.

Having tried all of the Indian takeaway options this is one of the most consistent, perhaps because it’s a dedicated takeaway and not a restaurant. The food is tasty, and when it’s supposed to be spicy, it’s spicy. Friendly service.

We always collect they have always been ready on the time given. The kids love seeing the tandoori oven and the chefs always interact with them on a few occasions letting them try the chicken which they love. The food is great and the service is friendly well done keep up the good work

Curry normally good and enjoyable. The delivery times now beyond a joke. Thursday night, phone call at 7.10pm, told it will take an hour, called again at 8.40, told it hasn’t left yet and will be 15 minutes. Now 9pm and no sign of it?!!

This is a takeaway restaurant only and tends to get very busy on Friday & Saturday nights so plan and order earlier than you require the meal at those times!! We always order out takeaway curry from here as the food is alway very good. Allow extra time than that stated!! Last night we were quoted 35 to 45 mins for a pickup but it was 1 hour 10 before it was ready so plan ahead and you will not be disappointed with the food !! During the rest of the week the time that it will be ready is much better!!!

On the few occasions I have visited here the food has always been fantastic. Service is sometimes hit and miss but the food makes up for it.

We have used this takeaway a lot over the last couple of years but no more. It used to be fine collecting when they say 30 but having to wait an extra 10-15 minutes as they would keep the children happy with a snack. But that 30 minutes is now ‘45 minutes for you to collect Sir’ and the wait in the shop is now almost always 30 minutes after that even and 45 this last Saturday. We had guests so extremely annoyed. The above average tasting food has now become a lot more expensive with a 10% price late last year.

Consistently good food, cheerful voice on the end of the phone, can see the food being cooked, always busy, never been disappointed.

Had a delicious meal here, the saag aloo was full of spice. My wife loved it!! Vegetarian options were offered as she doesn't eat meat and I had an excellent korma. Will be back

Just ordered a meal from tandoori Wokingham. We were told it would be a 45 minute delivery time an hour and a half later still no food and 3 phone calls to them to find out how long it would be.

In the past we have got our Indian takeaways from a couple restaurants in town but recently the quality and service has declined to a shocking level. This takeaway only establishment has an open kitchen and the food was very tasty. The Phall was excellent.

Been going for years but due to tight finances haven't been for ages. Always been superb. Can't wait to go back. V friendly. Hot and lovely food. Nom

Desde aquí pedimos comida en 8. 30 dijeron que la comida sería menos de una hora. Llegamos a las 10. Comenzó a abrirlo y lo que falta es un plato. Por teléfono para preguntar dónde está mi plato de mates que su respuesta fue ah...

Si recogido o entregado, siempre caliente, y la comida es estupenda. Siempre es un placer volver a esta.

A las 19:04 pedimos en línea del viernes por la noche y nos dijeron que sólo iba a ser de 40 minutos. Llamado en 20:20 parecía que había olvidado completamente, dijo que sólo sería 10. Llamado de nuevo a las 20:35 dijeron que estaría personalmente venir a entregar ahora. Finalmente llegué aquí, y nos explicó cómo nos espera un descuento o que no quería y terminamos teniendo que solucionar con la casa con hambre. Aceptamos el llevar después de que prácticamente se negó a llevar y entonces había partes de la orden perdió! Así que tomamos la comida de vuelta a su tienda y exigió un reembolso de casa con hambre. Teniendo en cuenta que están tan cerca que no había excusa. Fue una lucha para obtener un reembolso después de ya pagar en línea. No hace falta decir que, al ser nuestra primera experiencia, no pensamos intentarlo de nuevo.

Moved to the area and was looking for a new Curry house, I ordered online and thought the prices were reasonable and the reviews were good! I had ordered and kept getting updates that the delivery time was delayed and delayed! I eventually called as those a Saturday night I was worried it wasn’t coming! The person from the restaurant had advised the driver had left and it was on his way.. this is now another half hour! The food arrived around 9pm and the gentleman who delivered did say they were very busy and did apologise! I was half expecting it to be cold but it wasn’t, the korma was a bit watery and tasteless but plenty of chicken and could of shared it! The rice was nice but the garlic nann was again bland and now think maybe it was a plain nann by mistake..

Ordered a takeaway, should be no more than 40 minutes. 1 hour 30 mins later it arrived. I'm sure it was ready within 40 minutes they just failed to deliver - cold and unpleasant. If your too busy, don't take the order! I won't be bothering again.

So my parents have been ordering food from Mr Khan for thirty years........ Speaks volumes !Basically it is the only Indian food my children will eat as they have grown up with their style of cooking.Everybody has a favourite,but if you are ordering an Indian takeaway for the first time in Wokingham call Mr Khan.

We had seven main meal meals with a varied range of vegetable dishes and rice and all of us enjoyed this excellent take-away. The amazing thing is that every dish container was full to brim with food and each tasted like tit was freshly cooked. The main dishes ranged from a mild (Chicken Tikka Badam Passanda) to a medium (Lamb Dupiaza) to a hot (Lamb Vindaloo) dish and the chef worked his magic ensuring each dish had its own taste identity. The vegetable dishes were also cooked to perfection, each having a nice sharp taste and not a stodgy one. This excellent value for money meal cost us £8.70 per head and we will definitely return for more enjoyment. Well done Mr Khan.

after being away from wokingham for a while, its great be back and enjoying excellentfood again from wokingham Tandoori.always nice to be able to watch them prepare your food. and I've not be disappointed with the food on the last 3 or 4 visits.would recommend this place every time.

We ordered from this 'restaurant' last night, it took them two hours to deliver to us and we live 10 mins from the. food arrived, cold & tasteless! to top it off my pregnant wife and I have been sick since 6am this morning throwing up like dogs, avoid this place unless you like the feeling of being sick!

Amazing food and service. We ordered online for pick up. As we got here we had to wait a little while. It is a busy place but we was given some chicken tikka while we waited. 2 lovely gentlemen I would definitely recommend.

Recently ordered tandoori dish from Wokingham Tandoori. It was delivered to my house well with in time. The Tandoori dish was very delicious, will surely be trying again.

Ordered a chicken biryani with madras sauce veg korai chana masala and onion bhaji last night. The veg korai and chana masala were cold but ok. The chicken biryani was un-eatable, tried a couple of times as I was very hungry but I couldn't eat it. Shame as I have used this place a few times over the years but after wasting £20 I won't be returning.

Having previously tried this restaurant (when they neglected to send through the whole order) we decided it may have been because they were busy & give them another go. Well they are nothing if not consistent! Because they managed to do exactly the same thing this time too! With only two of the three meals ordered actually arriving, so began the round of phone calls in an attempt to have the rest delivered. In the first instance my husband was told they were leaving with it "straight away"......25 minutes later it still had not arrived (we are 8 minutes from them) so with the rest of the food going cold, I called them and again, asked where the food was, to be told "the manager is on his way with your food & to apologise, he is in your road"......15 minutes later it arrived with a young lad who was not the manager & didn't know what I was talking about! No apology....I called again & told the man on the phone what had happened & he hung up on me! I called back & asked for the manager & he hung up on me again!!The food was mediocre at best & the 'late dishes' were cold.Bizarre behaviour, especially given how many Indian restaurants there are in Wokingham.....plenty to chose from I would NOT recommend you use this one!

A bit disappointed, we had a chicken madras and chicken tikka masala, the chicken in both was dry and when we received food it was lukewarm. The madras has no spice what so ever and lacked in flavour. The mint sauce was nice though

Have been ordering take away food from here for as long as I can remember. It is the only Indian food my children will eat. Good value take away, it does get busy sometimes so order delivery service in good time. Highly recommended.

Me and my partner ordered chicken korma and peswari naan, I have to say it was the best we have both had! The service was great, it's open late and it was so hot when it arrived! We also got free onion bargies and poppadoms!

Have used the delivery service regularly for several years and the quality and consistency of the food and service seems to remain very reliable.Obviously it is take-away only.

It was one of those evenings that the need for some takeaway food was needed as the ability to get off the sofa was minimal so we checked out Wokingham Tandoori's reviews and decided to give them a try. It was only two of us eating so we stuck to some onion bhaji's (fresh and tasty), xacuti chicken (good size portion, well spiced), chicken tikka vindaloo (not as spicy as I remember vindaloo's, but maybe I am getting better at eating hot food in my old age. It was tasty though!) plus rice and nan.The delivery was prompt and included some complementary poppodums, which was great and the cost seemed pretty good. I don't live near this takeaway, but if I did it would be the one I would regularly use.

If you fancy a really great curry then you have to try this place. Its a small family run takeaway but you can see the love and passion they put into your food.The staff are very friendly, always make you feel at home.Food is delicious, i would defo recommend it!

I ll have no other takeaway. The owner is always very friendly....has never got an order wrong..... And the butter chicken is divine in addition to some of the specials..... They deliver..but I tend to pick up to make sure it's hot and love to watch the guys doing their work in the open kitchen.Tandoor skills are incredible...

Good quality Indian food cooked right in front of you. Very friendly and helpful staff. A little bit expensive for a takeaway, but worth it in my opinion.

Unfortunately it's only a take away, but it just happens to be one of the best Indian food establishments I know. You will not be disappointed.
