Wok to Walk - Cranbourn St in City of London, Westminster

I was looking for something quick to eat late at night. Came across this small place on googlemaps. To my surprise the food matched the reviews. It tasted fresh and was decent for a takeaway. However, it was expensive ( almost 15 pounds) which is shocking. Overall,, I highly recommend it if you want something quick and tasty

I ate from this restaurant and at first they didn’t add any meat to the order.once they had fixed this misunderstanding I went back to my hotel room and had a bad stomach I later realised that i had caught food poisoning.i am very displeased with the service

Edit: Decided to go up with my rating because of how professional respond I got ◡̈ Expected something way better for that price, mostly rice and a couple of chicken pieces. Also very poor advertisement techniques - you’ll find a banner in front saying “prices from..”, but it’s the price for plain rice or noodles, if you add all that’s needed jn a proper dish the price will double. Not coming back - sorry!

Woks place that is very designed to order them to take away, the place is small, uncomfortable and could be a little cleaner. The portions are regular size but the quality and flavor is very good so they are overlooked. The prices are average, on the high side but it is worth it for the quality of the product.

Claims to have halal chicken katsu (me and my friend asked the employees) but they cook the chicken in the same equipment in which they cook pork therefore negating the chicken being halal.

Was such a good night grab. Cool they added the sit in section.

My go-to for a very tasty, extremely filling and not expensive lunch in this area.

Good food but Zero customer service. Staff is busy taking orders but no one is bothered to clean up the tables for customers. We understand it’s a busy place but just serving food is not enough. Maintaining hygiene should not be ignored.

A great place for quick food for lunch and dinner. Fresh stir fried from a range of Japanese and Chinese cuisine. Small place so little room but has some benches to sit and eat in. Really popular and busy.

I had donburi and chicken katsu,those food were really amazing and also their service was truly exceptional.

One of the best places for Chinese food. In terms of service I would like put them on the top. I love their Pad Thai most l. I almost go there every now and then. I do dine in there several times with my friends and colleagues.

Ordering it online doesn’t work. Tried it lots of times and they make me wait 2 hours and they end up not delivering the food. Terrible service.

I have been using that place for the last 10 years all locations around London but I have to find something else they have always been expensive but now just taking the piss they changed box size to smaller ones while raising prices at the same time they used to have extra sauces in small bags that you could use to your noodles but not anymore quality of ingredients seems to go down as well not worth the price anymore what a shame but I can't offer that place to friends or family while feeling scammed hope they do something about it.

Hi I couldn't quite get a hold of her name but this Somali girl working on Saturday 16/11she was such a kind girl, loved her customer service & her vibe. Food was 10/10 aswell shout out to the young man making it for me. Overall I loved today’s visit

Fantastic worker called Sucdi. She was a bubble of positive energy and really played a part in the reason I always come back to wok to walk. She always has a smile on her face everytime I come into the store and the food is always 10 out of 10

Work across the road from work to walk , friendly staff very positive and cheerful , foods always on point and the atmosphere is great, hygiene wise never complained once . Stations are clean and presentable .

For the first time i visited your restaurant.Every bite of noodles was a culinary delight, and I can't wait to return to "wok to walk" to explore more of their delicious creations. The guy who was different design t-shirt he's behaved so good.When he was cooking i told him that make your special one.Honestly i was very delicious.

It was the most delicious food I've ever had in London. Everyone was friendly. There was a kiosk so ordering was easy. Highly recommended if you're sick of London food!!!! I couldn't take a picture because it was so delicious.

Very good food, fast, and a logical price, considering where we are. A terrace with more tables than room for them, but warm with the heaters. Of course, when 11 p.m. arrives, they close it and urge you, kindly, to finish.

Had beef noodle soup and dumplings. Both were good. But, I regret not thinking of choosing from the food at the counter instead of ordering from the menu because the food at the counter looked much better. I wish they hadn’t handed us the menu while we were waiting in line.

We came as group of 10 and the service was very kind and quick. Our food also tasted very good and the price was completely reasonable. Furthermore, they dealt with food allergies very professionally and adapted the meals.

4 people ordered 3 dishes and they were all very delicious. In particular, adding Asian hot sauce to the lemon spicy chicken made it taste rich and delicious.

The portion sizes have got smaller! Chicken treats with veg is a great challenge to find the chicken. Great product and service. Will return.

I’ve been visiting this place for more than a year now. The food is good overall but it could be a hit or miss. 3/5 times it has been good. 2/5 times I’ve found it to be so bad that I felt like throwing it away. The inconsistency in taste across orders is why I gave 3 stars else it deserves a solid 4

Love Asian food some times I stick to the basic dishes but every now and then I try something new and it never disappoints

Pensamos que los fideos podrían ser un gran almuerzo rápido mientras caminaba en Londres. No nos equivocamos. Comimos el Pad Thai con pollo y el pollo Chow Mein. Ambos platos eran sabrosos, especiados justo y una porción muy generosa. Decidimos comer. Hay unas cuantas mesas interiores y exteriores emparejadas con taburetes para sentarse. Además, aunque por un tramo de escaleras y bastante pequeño, el baño estaba muy limpio, ordenado y bien abastecido. Sin duda recomendaría esto para un bocado rápido antes o después del teatro, o en cualquier momento que estés en la zona.

Quick, tasty, efficient and good value. An ideal grab and go meal (great when short on time for a theatre show) a great varied menu, service is quick and a good portion size giving good value for money. Would recommend and will go again.

Found this place on a previous trip to London so had to make a return visit. Just love everything about it. The location is great and the food and service are wonderful. Great tasty, hot food at a very good price. Highly recommended for a quick meal.

I highly recommend this place for Chinese takeout! The food is made with fresh ingredients and is freshly cooked, which you can really taste. The sauces are delicious, and the portions are generous. Plus, the prices are very reasonable, and the waiting time is short. Overall, an excellent choice for a tasty and convenient meal.

I thought it will taste like Panda Express but didn’t at all i ended up throwing it away taste soooooo baaad. I would pay for a Chinese buffet ( not my favorite) over this.

Wok to Walk is the perfect place to grab food on the go. Staff were very friendly and we received our food within 5 minutes of ordering! Food is cheap and also very deceiving - the portions are huge!

Busy little place but great pad Thai.

I take two noodle dishes home from here after work about once every 10 days - normally great service and food is usually (not always) good, I went in last Friday - and it will probably be my last visit. The server hardly spoke English ( not a problem in itself) but the. aking of the order was painfully slow, had errors and still came up wrong and one dish had to n=be replaced. I live only 12 minutes away - so as always I dashed home to eat asap. My partner and I both thought the food was substandard, and by the time we were half way through both she and I thought there was an odd after taste - we both stiopped eating and left the last third of our food. Very disappointed. The next morning we were both ill and had to cancel Saturday plans and could not leave the safety of being in the vicinity of a toilet. Obvoiusly annot assume this was the fault of the wok, but as we work seperatly it was the only food we had in common on the Friday and we were both ill on the Saurday. Coincidence ? or not ... will be a long time before I have the confidence to risk another visit.

It's a stir-fry restaurant chain that I've been to in Spain before, and the taste is still the same in London. It's edible when you're tired of European food but don't want to eat Korean food. Rather than adding too many ingredients, I think it's better to think about the combination.

Locale piccolissimo, con alcuni posti a sedere ma ovviamente votato principalmente all'asporto. Servizio rapido e gentile, cibo buono e decisamente abbondante, prezzi giusti. Pulizia nella media del posto, probabilmente noi italiani siamo abituati a standard un po' più alti. In ogni caso siamo rimasti sazi e soddisfatti!

Behaviour of staff extremely rude and unprofessional. They did not want to take my order and was telling me all the options from the menu is finished and to come back another day, they were speaking in their local language and laughing about not taking orders. it was 1 am and they close at 3 am.

Usually a go to for me, I was underwhelmed during my visit. Not for the food- that was still good- but the customer service was below average at best. It appeared that the manager, when he appeared, was angry with staff and it showed. His rude demeanor and the language he used with staff was frankly shocking. He looked like someone had just slapped his face with a wet fish. He was also very satisfied to take his frustration out on making peoples food with the wok. There was definitely no love being put into those dishes. I never want to go somewhere and see staff being treated like slaves or told off in front of customers. It not only sets a bad example for staff and normalise a bullying culture, but leaves a bitter taste in the mouth of customers. I was going to write about the eggshell in my dish as well but I think it pales in significance. Someone please have a word with Mr Stroppy.

I always go to wok to walk but today I’m not sure who was on the Wok at 7:30pm 25/03/2024 but instead of flirting with your female colleague maybe make my food properly? I asked for Saigon and Hong Kong got only Saigon. Pretty sure he burnt my food as well as he was trying to make my order and take two other people’s order at the same time. And my food had this metallic taste which made me throw away my £15 food order and get a meal deal from Sainsbury’s instead. Very disappointed as this my go to for dinner after a long day of work!

Ordered from Uber eats and the food was tasting strange. I wanted to check for the reviews and I found out have 2 stars of food hygiene rating from Uber eats, not from people but from food hygiene inspectors. For sure i didn’t finish the food. But was my fault cause I didn’t check before.

Lifesaver at night and tastes good. They're also really cool with not upcharging. I ordered an entre (£10.95) and wanted to substitute the noodle type and sauce. Instead of charging me the entre price, they gave it to me at the custom bowl price (£5.95 + £2.95 = £8.90). Keep in mind this is night/drunk food. Don't compare it to some gourmet place. That said, I wish the portions were bigger.

Ordered crispy lemon chicken for £9.95- got soggy soft undercooked reheated blobs which were very cold inside. I didn’t have time to wait for them to remake it so refund was offered. Except that because they didn’t have the correct change, they insist on rounding down and giving me £9.90 instead. For 5p they could have given me ten pounds and I wouldn’t have bothered with this review m. Partners beef was spongey and unpleasant. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere

So went to the Covent Garden one because I’ve had the one from Oxford street has a bad experience with the food it was so spicy to the point I had tears in my eyes even though I’ve had hot Asia multiple times from Oxford street so clearly the flavour isn’t meant to be extremely spicy not sure if they put a 100 chilly flaxes in it today but it was so bad will just stick to the one in oxford street not covent garden .

I ordered from here, and have done for years, but this time the prawns in my noodles were 100% not cooked. They were completely raw. How this can pass quality control is beyond understanding.

영국에서 느끼한것만 먹다가 발견한 한줄기의 빛.. 맛이 약간 자극적이지만 그만큼 맛있다. 한식이나 매운거 땡길때 기본밥에 갈릭디핑 추가하고 매운소스 넣으면 느끼하고 더부룩한 내장이 씻겨나가는 느낌. 흑인 여성 점원분도 굉장히 친절하심.👍👍

Stopped off here after my visit to the Samsung store for repairs, was absolutely delighted with the mix of flavours in my mouth the food is absolutely delicious! The inside of the shop is very cramped and everyone is very close together and I personally found that a little off putting but the staff are cool and the food is delicious! Perfect for a take away meal!
