Given it 3 stars, as overall rating. The food was AMAZING! Quite pricey but really lovely food. The service was questionable as waiter never check up/came over for drinks order when arrived and or when we finished drinks, they never came to ask if we needed more so had to call waiter over every time we needed more drinks.

Tough one because my Bibimbap was good but my friends soup was undersized for the price and not very flavorful. Also the fried chicken was so undersized that it felt like majority batter. Not the typical generous portions you are expecting from Korean restaurants but this is perhaps due to the central location. I would atleast suggest serving less but larger pieces of fried chicken. Staff were really friendly. This place is still worth a visit as long as you stick to the bibimbap!

It’s a real shame because I used to love this place but over the years not only has the price increased beyond reason but the kimchi pancake is so small now. It used to be on a big plate that could be shared amongst friends but now it’s tiny and nearly £9. It also used to taste better but now the taste has changed. The Soju has always been extortionate but a few years ago I didn’t mind because at least all in all it was value for money. I know everything has gone up in price but it’s to the point that I won’t be returning and I have been a customer since around 2013. The bibimbap still tastes good but for over £18… I think I’ll pass.

Wow! That's one word to sum up the whole experience and I can't believe that I haven't rated this yet. My, oh my. I really enjoyed my tofu bibimbap a while back, was just casually scrolling restaurants around the Tottenham Court Road area. Food came in no time, service was very quick and efficient. Was able to get a table quickly after the restaurant I initially want to go was fully booked out. So, I'm so glad that this was nearby as I love my Korean food. Portion of the bibimbap was worth the money, (feel free to take my money anytime I stop by because it was TOO GOOD!) Kept me full throughout the evening especially after a long day! Will definitely pay more visits in the future. Promised my mum that I need to take her one day.

Buf, no sabría decir nada bueno, creo.

Wow, I couldn't say anything good, I don't think. They have a dish, the typical rice bowl, that you have to choose if you want it with beef, pork or fish. They serve you a burning bowl with uncooked meat that you have to turn and it is made with the rest of the ingredients that they put. You have to put on a sauce that they make and in the end a mess is formed with overcooked meat (because the bowl doesn't stop burning for even an hour) and you always burn. Not to come back :)

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Bibimbap Soho in London, and it was an exceptional culinary experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm, friendly service and a vibrant, bustling atmosphere that perfectly captured the essence of Korean dining. NOTE: THIS RESTAURANT DOESNT TAKE BOOKINGS AND ITS WALK IN WITH A WAIT. WE WERE 4 PEOPLE AND HAD TO WAIT FOR 40 MINS. Great vegetarian options and they even do them without eggs. The menu offers an impressive variety of bibimbap options, each meticulously prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients. I opted for the classic tofu and mushroom bibimbap and Jap Chae and it did not disappoint. The sizzling stone bowls ensure that every bite remains hot and flavorful, and the balance of textures and flavors is spot on. Additionally, their selection of side dishes, like kimchi and pickled radishes, complements the main course wonderfully. In summary, Bibimbap Soho is a gem in the heart of London, offering a truly authentic and delicious Korean dining experience. Whether you're a longtime fan of Korean cuisine or a first-time visitor, Bibimbap Soho is sure to impress with its fantastic food, friendly service, and vibrant atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Simple place that specialise in Korean sizzling rice bowl - bibimbap. Menu consist of a choice of bibimbap topping. You get plenty of vegetable and there is the option to swap white rice for brown rice. Like how you get choice of two sauce to mix to the rice - Korean chilli paste and Miso sauce. This come separately so you create the flavour you want.

The deep fried squid was very tasty. I was disappointed by the seafood bibimbap. For £18.50 minimal tiny baby prawns were used, no sign of king prawns. The squid and octopus looked like they came out of a tin seafood medley, tiny and not fleshy pieces. The dish came out hot, and I liked the stone bowls, I had to add a lot of soy and chilli sauce to give it the flavour it needs (seafood marinade did not come through at all). The service could be better, the waiter could not understand why I was confused that the beef dish said fillet beef, then tartare (minced) in the description. His explanation was a bit condescending

Ok sooo, I was very disappointed, the fried squid was good but the bibimbap was neutral, it was a bit bland, that even with soy sauce and miso I still only ate the half of it. I was also surprised that we had to pay a service fee (which was not mentioned). So I do not recommend this place unless you want something bland and without spices. And the service fee was really annoying and put me off for the whole evening.

The food was great, although on the pricier range if you were to compare. The bulgogi I had was very nice but could use more beef for the cost. Had a pleasant experience and the waiter was nice but as I was leaving I was appalled by £5 service charge they charged me. I didn’t have time to check it and it was too late when I already paid, to opt out from this tip you thought was appropriate. This was charged in a sneaky way and completely ruined my experience and the remainder of the day. Excuse me, but taking my 1 plate and bringing it to my table was less than 1 meter apart from the kitchen, that just isn’t worth a generous £5 tip you took from me without my consent. Fine, keep it but neither me nor my friends will be back here. This is a robbery and no, the service was not worth that extra charged £5. P.S. to the owners: have a decency to pay your employees without making it our responsibility.

One of my favourite Korean places in Central London. The bimbimbap is super satisfying (actually, I'd probably rate it the best in London, though I think the beef bimbimbap is now a tad too dear for me). I've had the fried chicken too. It's a small off the beaten track and the only reason I knew about it was because a friend brought me here. There's an upstairs and downstairs. Service is great. I've come here on my own because it's that good! It's one of the secret spots you don't want too many people to know about because then it becomes too trendy and you can never get a table.

So, I'm not sure about this place anymore. We ordered the beef bulgogi bibimbap x2 and the chili squid, it came up to £50. The bibimbap was lacking flavour, the miso and chili sauce didn't enhance the taste for me. I feel I need to eat a bibimbap elsewhere to remember what it's suppose to taste like. The last time we went, I thought it was an off day, but going again has solidified my thoughts. However, it's a popular place and I'm sure there's lots of other dishes to try out. We got there at 5ish (when it reopens for the evening), so it was still nice and empty, it started to get busy by 6pm.

No many vegan options and the one in the menu isn’t served with noddles. The nutritions option was somewhat ok. It would’ve been much better if served with noddles instead of rice. There really wasn’t any taste. You have to mix a sauce to make it “swallable” The very hot bowl is the highlight of the experience. Would only go back if the vegan option was served with noddles tho. Miso soup was great…but that I can prepare at home.

We stumbled across Bibimbap Soho while trying to score a pre-theatre meal and what a nice surprise. It's a friendly, efficient restaurant serving fresh food that really hits the spot. We weren't sure what to expect but my Chicken Teriyaki Bibimbap arrived sizzling in a hot stone bowl which was a nice touch. The vegetables were crunchy fresh and I happily polished off the entire bowl. My other half went for chicken noodles and she was equally happy with the experience since neither dish was too spicy. Now this isn't some fancy-pants restaurant with over-dressed waiters. No it's more like a café where people familiar with Korean cuisine roll up for a tasty dinner and a cool beer with friends before heading out for the evening. Arrive with these expectations and you'll do just fine.

I came here a few times for bibimbap before and more recently again for the kimchi and seafood pancakes. I really like this place, the variety is much smaller than a regular Korean restaurant in that it is mostly bibimbap, so there is no Korean BBQ or bulgogi etc. but they do have a few noodle dishes, soups and sides. It is more casual vibes, no reservations are possible but we didn’t need one as there were lots of seats. Portions are big, the size of the bowels are massive. Price is ok, I would say moderate about £20 per person. I really liked the Kimchi and Seafood pancakes. You can also customise your own bibimbap and there is a brown rice option. The food here is not spicy though. I cannot eat spicy food so that was a plus for me, but if you are looking for spicy or BBQ then this is not the place. Service was overall good, and as with every place in London they add service charge to your bill.

The Korean-style bustling atmosphere and stone-cooked bibimbap tastes Korean-style when mixed with the freshness of the ingredients and Korean-style red pepper paste and soybean paste. It's a blessing to have a restaurant like this in Soho. As I ate hot stone-cooked rice while sweating with gratitude, it was nice to escape the cold of the British living room. I have been going to Ping Pong for a long time and the food has always been delicious. I understand the comments that question the authenticity, but it is almost its own thing. A menu that can accommodate a range of palates and dietary requirements, that you may not get somewhere else. They were able to accommodate a large party of close to 60 with varying dietary requests. I'm addition, we had more people turn up than expected and it was no issue for them. They were exceptionally accommodating, so thanks to the staff. In addition, it was great value compared to other places we looked at.

We are huge fans of Wok to Walk and have visited the Soho branch many times, so when we were in the area near Cranbourn over the bank holiday weekend, we decided to try this branch as it was closer to where we were staying. Unfortunately, the experience wasn’t quite as enjoyable as we’d hoped. The person taking our order came across as rude and abrupt. We weren’t sure if he was having a bad day or struggling with language barriers, but it left us feeling a bit uncomfortable and disappointed from the start. On the positive side, the food was made fresh, as always, and it was served hot. We love the concept of watching the food being made right in front of you, and the preparation process was as good as we’ve experienced at other locations. However, I ordered the chicken Pad Thai, and unfortunately, it was a huge letdown. While it was fresh and hot, the dish was drowned in peanuts and tasted far too sour. I actually ended up only having one bite before deciding to throw the rest away. It was disappointing, especially since we've had great Pad Thai at the Soho branch before. Given the overall experience, we will be returning to the Soho location moving forward. Hopefully, this was just an off day for the Cranbourn branch, but it didn’t live up to our expectations this time.
