The food was Soooo good best Korean restaurant in London. It was pretty authentic & taste like the Korean food I had in japan

Not your authentic Korean bibimbap. Not even Hangul on the menu???? Bibimbap doesn’t come with the traditional toppings such as egg or shiitake mushroom, rice isn’t crunchy from the stone bowl but is rather oily. Not even sesame oil-oily, but just normal-oily. No side dishes.

Friendly staff, Short preparation / Waiting Time. A lot of different Variations of Bibimbap - so everybody should find something. :)

I visited this restaurant a couple of months ago and was very impressed with the food and service.

這算是滿 平 價 的 韓 式 料 理， 可以吃到石鍋拌飯， 但是如果點的是生牛肉的話，就無法有鍋巴，因為都很濕， 如果是豬肉的話就有鍋巴，白飯算大碗，配上泡菜豆腐湯，非常滿足，推薦！

I'm no expert on Korean food, but had bibimbap here and it was so tasty. Would absolutely recommend it. They don't take reservations so you have to show up and hope for the best. The upstairs was full, so we were seated in the basement and the room felt a bit cramped, but glad we got the table so we could experience the food.

Excellent bibimbap! The place is nice and in a great position. Service is fast and very good. We tried a few versions of the bibimbap and we were always satisfied. Excellent price.

Cada vez que visito Londres me aseguro de tener una comida aquí: precios muy razonables (25 para 2 adultos, porciones grandes). Mi compañero nunca había probado la comida coreana y es un converso instantáneo después de comer aquí. Comida fresca, hecha rápidamente. Sin duda comer aquí.

Really tasty bibimbap at reasonable prices, with quick service. Probably best to visit outside the usual mealtimes or you'll be queueing for a while!

This little gem in Greek Street is quick, great value and delicious. Dishes are around 8 pounds and you can eat a lovely side of kimchi and enjoy 'Cass' - authentic Korean beers. I'll be back! By @paulfoodie

I went with a couple of friends after a post-dance workout for dinner. Between the 3 of us we shared a plate of glass noodles and a bucket of (20?) pieces of KFC.

I marked this place as average because I can't say I found it very good. Table service which was okay although not super friendly. We rocked up on a Thursday night with no booking and it was busy although we still got a high table quickly. Sadly, we ordered quickly but our food took quite a long time to arrive.I had a Chicken Teriyaki hot boal and my friend had the beef. Looked good although it was a little bland. I needed the chilli side sauce for flavour. Not bad value at all for dinner and I would try it again, although plump for one of the advertised spicy dishes to see if they have more flavour. I think the concept has legs, just not as tasty as I had hoped for.

Enjoyed a nice Korean Vegetarian Meal in the Heart of London. Please is awesome, location is spot on and service is warmly and quick. Definitely worth a second visit...

First of all give the staff a credit since they follow the principle, the food there was very nice untill i found out that the Ramen is not not freshly made which is not a problem but trying to sell me a packaged instant Ramen was no no, I asked the staff that this Ramen tasted exactly the same as the one a make at home for 89p. They hesitated at first then contradict themselves saying they don't know than 10 mins after I ate my food I went downstairs too the bathroom to do my thing, saw the Kitchen and came out the manager telling me whats wrong. I told him the truth and his answer was "NO EVERYTHING IS FRESHLY MADE HERE!" surely you guy's be dumb enough to think its fresh when They're using tin cans and bottles to preserve food waste. Also I'am inspired by Marco White Gorden RAM teacher but my taste bud is better as I was born to cook, Master and Sensei. So If you guys Don't believe me GO to china town and buy yourself this Suspefic 'Ramen noodles seafood package' and add yourself spring onions coriander and what ever seafood you can afford. IF YOU KNOW YOU KNOW my followers just got to Bone 'Dadddies' and pay extra £10 for freshly made Ramen noodles or mate just Cook it yourself and your see, If not take my advice then go waste your £12 on the dishes when it cheaper than you actually think I do not Care LMarseee. Food looks and smells good, finally tried this having worked nearby for a while; KFC - cheap slimy or rubbery meat slapped on a scoop of rice with a meager amount of katsu sauce - wish I hadn't bothered and certainly won't again. Total rip off.

Went here when in London for the day with a friend, as he had been there before, and loved it. I have to eat gluten free, so while my choices were limited, they were interesting enough to make me happy. The kimchi soup was incredible, and would definitely eat there again!

Lille koreansk restaurant. Meget simpelt indrettet. Men forcus på maden er vigtigst, og den var god. Vi fik Bolgogi bibimbab, kimchi, KFC og kimchi pandekager. Det smagte alt sammen rigtig godt. Bulgogi kødet havde dog ikke den autentiske Bulgogi smag, men ellers var selve kødet fint. Hyggelig og venlig personale, med undtagelse af en ung pige der kom til sidst, for at rydde bord og tage imod betaling. Hun var ikke uvenlig, men mere bare kold og ligeglad. Rimelige priser.

I'm a vegetarian and ordered the vegetable and chive dumplings, when they arrived I ate one whole and thought they tasted a bit funny. I then looked inside another dumpling and there were no vegetables in it and it was obvious they had given me the pork ones instead. When we bought them to a waitress to ask if they were pork she looked at them and said yes, then one of the waiters quickly intervened trying to say they were the vegetable and chive dumplings. The waitress tried to say she was new and that she in fact didn't know if they were vegetable or pork dumplings even though she quickly said they were pork initially. When we pointed out that there were in fact no vegetables or chives in sight and no mention of a vegetarian meat replacement on the menu, the waiter said all vegetarians think it's meat and they refused to apologise, even though i was mortified. My partner who does eat meat also tried the dumplings and is convinced it was pork. The staff were rude and on top of this i forgot my hat at the restaurant (which is my own fault) so I called them up when I got home and I was told they had my hat and I could go and collect it the next day at midday. When I made the hour long journey back to babimbap, no one knew what I was talking about, they couldn't find my hat and continuously tried to get me to leave. Eventually they agreed to take my number and call me once they have contacted their staff but they didn't and I have had to call back several times to be met with a rude and unhelpful response. I will not go back and don't think they should have 'vegetarian friendly' written on their website when they will happily serve them meat.

Me and my friends have never eaten korean food before but I heard great things about it and so we were happy to que up outside. The food is incredible, cheaply priced and came very quickly. Highly highly recommend eating here!

Not remotely an expert on Korean food - only had a handful of times. Spicy pork bibimbap wasn't remotely spicy. Not even a tiny bit. Dish was ok overall - veg/noodles fresh, but the meat tasted of nothing. Shared 10 pcs KFC and again, disappointed. Very slimy. Reasonable prices and servers were friendly enough. Usually v busy, so obvious hit with most people, though we won't be rushing back.

The restaurant is vey affordable and its customer service is nice and friendly. Though the place is small, it serves a wide range of traditional Korean food. Highly recommend spicy rice cake. :)

Honestly, I've never ever queued to go out for dinner but this was the first time as because I really wanted to try Bibimbap after long time going out in London. Surprisingly, we didn't have to wait in line for long, then when we're in, that's when we knew why the waiting time was short, it was because it was like fast food restaurant, everything was rush, it was already let down for us.

This place is in a very central part of London and it is easy to find. I went there on a weekday early evening it was already quite busy but still got seats available.

Had bibimbap with raw beef strips in hot bowl, could not have enough. Vast options of not only bibimbap, but also noodles, soups and other stuff.

I absolutely love coming here... the service was spot on, we didn't have to wait to be seated too long, the food was hot and fresh, and I love that there are veggie options! The menu is easy to order off of and if there are any specific requirements this is fulfilled.

Nice cozy spot for cheap enough Korean dishes. Was easy to get a table for one. Had the tofu bibimbap - definitely ask for an egg if you are going for this dish.

Had the hot-stone bibimbap with seafood pajeon with a friend when we were here for dinner once. It was authentic and quite delicious. Service was also prompt and the waitress warm and friendly. Quite good value for money, as our entire meal totalled £30.

Popped in here before going to the theatre. Had a beef bibimbap bowl and 5 pieces of the fried chicken, which was easily enough for two of us. Lots of nice veggies in the bowl - very fresh food. My daughter loved the K-pop in the background! Good service.

Fuimos a este restaurante en un capricho después de caminar el pasado y pensando que sería un buen cambio. Enseguida nos dimos cuenta de que era mucho más que esto. Una gran selección de bibimbaps todo servido en un Super Bowl con piedras calientes con una completa selección de verduras, arroz integral y verduras sabrosa carne encima. Super sabroso y muy razonables entre £8-£10 por enorme plato (sin duda, podrían compartir una entre dos personas, no hay sensación de algo enorme). Increíble ubicación en la parte oeste. Bastante relajado ambiente y un poco más de ambiente de cantina, pero una gran comida, honesto!

The bibimbap was good but the staff forgot to give me soy sauce. And everyone else had a glass of water as soon as they sat but I didn’t. Fried chicken wasn’t as good as I expected.

With the abundance in available food options, a modern traveller seeks something different every day. When I was looking for a restaurant around me that day, Bibimbap stood out as being different. And when I tried it, I knew the selection my friend and I was worth it. The combination of flavors, the diversity of colors and the technique made it an interesting choice that I would recommend to others.

We entered minutes after it opened with half a dozen already in and an hour later a queue was forming. I chose mixed mushrooms, my sister chicken teriyaki.

There's little better than really good bowl of bibimbap to make you feel fantastic about yourself. Eventually found this place after much wandering around but glad we did!

The service is good though the food is not as appealing or good as I would have expected. However, their prices are reasonable.

We loved our meal here which was ideal for our party of one meat eater, one vegetarian and one vegan. The bibimbap is delicious and the menu comes with an easy guide on how to order it - first order the main topping (e.g. vegetables, tofu, chicken, beef, seafood, etc.) then the rice (white or brown) and finally choose an optional egg (raw or fried). Korean hot chili paste (gochujang) is provided. Other condiments e.g. kimchi are at a small extra cost. My dol sot (mixed vegetables) bibimbap served in the traditional hot stone bowl was absolutely delicious and a bargain at only 8 GBP for a large bowl of food. The restaurant is small and crowded with tables close together. Service was OK, not great, but the restaurant was very busy at the time we visited.

My wife missed Korea so much, even on our trip to London she asked to eat bibimbap. A friend recommended us this place and we were not disappointed! The restaurant, located near Tottenham Courtroad station, in Soho, is lovely, clean and bright. The service is fast and efficient. Workers are polite (most of them) and the food was good. Prices are also very reasonnable for the dishes we ordered, but outrageously expensive for the alcohol.

For great Korean, go to KOBA or ASSA restaurants instead, both nearby. The service at Bibimbap was the most arrogant, rude and unprofessional I have ever experienced. Four of us waited for an hour for our mains. Meanwhile, all tables around us got their orders...

I was amazed that there is a restaurant that just serves Bibimbap. There were certainly a number of options and I did enjoy the one I chose though I did think there was lack of rice and too much meat in it. The cafe is very tiny and a bit squashy but certainly worth an investigation.

A Korean resto for the masses. Bulgogi was amazing. Food are more affordable as compared to other korean restos and tastes better too. Ambiance is decent. Friendly staff.

Quick food. Friendly enough staff. Ran out of pork dumplings. Went to the location near Monument station which doesn’t show up on TripAdvisor, but mi might be a new location. Anyway, had mushroom soup which was decent and chili chicken bibimbap. Nothing to rave home about but fair price and portions. Tap water is free but the glasses are tiny.

I'm a fan of Korean food and on a cold January day, a bibimbap seemed to be just the thing so my friends and I decided to go to this restaurant. I ordered the spicy pork bibimbap and although it took a while to get to us, the food was all delicious. The bibimbap came with a good portion of pork which was nice to see since other restaurants where i have had bibimbap provide significantly less meat. I highly recommend the spicy pork bibimbap as the pork was beautifully marinated and was sweet with the perfect amount of spice. The dish was also a very generous size and despite being a big eater, I left full. Overall I highly recommend this restaurant as the food here is very good.

Non è la prima volta che vado in questo ristorantino coreano quando sono a londra. Cibo ottimo e abbondante, personale davvero cordiale e gentile. Il piatto tipico servito in ciotole di pietra bollente con uovo crudo sopra è fantastico! Prezzi decisamente onesti per quantità è qualità! Collocato in un quartiere molto pittoresco! Tomó cuatro huéspedes allí para el almuerzo. Era hora punta, pero no tuve que esperar demasiado tiempo. Los platos que teníamos eran un poco diferente a lo que hemos tenido antes, todo muy bien, y se sirve en un plato de piedra climatizada. Hemos estado en muchos restaurantes coreanos en todo el mundo, (mi favorito es en Katmandú, Nepal. Este precio) y el mejor de ellos. No me gusta la comida" o "presumido pagando por caro, medir un entorno restaurante en la calidad de la comida y el servicio.

Yep. My first ever Korean and my second will soon follow. This place was great. I dined alone as on business. Service was great and help provided on what was best to order. Chicken bibimbap and a side of KFC it was. And wow. I'm a big eater and I left full. And great value for money too in Soho. Try.

Went here for my sister's birthday with some cousins. I was quite worried as we were a big group of 9 people and to my knowledge, they don't take any bookings - could be wrong as I didn't contact them to find out. Despite that, we were seated almost immediately with a big booth that conveniently accommodated all of us.Service was a little slow however the manager apologised - apparently he said the order didn't come coz it was his fault? - and gave us free appetizers to compensate for the wait.Nonetheless, when the Korean fried chicken came, it was delicious! We ordered two large buckets - probably could've gone with another - but we were all "just nice" full.I ordered the sirloin steak bi Bim bap. It was good but the meat took a long time to cook - the beef came raw as the hot bowl is supposed to heat and cook it.Other than that, it was a good experience and good food. I would definitely visit again.

Despite some of the other more negative reviews on here, I couldn't really fault this place. For £8 I got a HUGE dol sot Bibimbap. The rice was well cooked and the vegetables were excellent quality. I was completely full after the meal - for £8 in Soho and with the high quality of food that this establishment provides, that is hard to beat. The service was good and the tap water was served in what must have been a 1.5 litre bottle and a glass - for someone that drinks as much water as I do, this was a godsend. Having never had Bibimbap (or even embarrassingly heard of it), I was very pleasantly surprised. I will be back.

We stumbled across here as we wanted Korean food, inside it is quite cosy & we got seats pretty quick. Service was pretty slow, it felt like we had to keep letting the waiters know we were here, wanting a menu etc. There is a good selection & the Bibimbap tastes Ok, there is better & it fills a void.

En week-end a Londres nous souhaitions manger pas trop loin de notre hotel et plutôt coréen...Une petite recherche sur notre site favori TA et nous voilà devant cet établissement classé 5 eme dans la catégorie des restaurants Bim bim bap !Tout d’abord un signe qui ne trompe pas en arrivant il y avait une queue d’une dizaine de personnes a attendre pour rentrer et trouver une table .L’accueil est sympa , la salle de petite taille est d’une deco simple mais chaleureuse .La carte variée, il y en a pour tous les gouts , le service est efficace et la nourriture servie dans des bols en terre chaude est d’excellente qualité.Bref un restau que je recommande , mais attention il faut être un peu patient car ils ont du succès , mais l’attente vaut le coup , nous y reviendrons .

On a trip to London I was really keen to introduce my boyfriend to one of my favourite dishes, Bimbimbap, and so decided to visit the restaurant of the same name. The menu had a really good range of dishes and various types of bibimbaps and we decided to go for a Beef Bulgogi and a Spicy Pork Bibimbap and the 5 piece KFC with kimchi mayo. Our food was served quickly and the bibimbaps came in the hot stone bowls. The portion sizes were really generous and there were plenty of different vegetables. The beef and the pork were cooked perfectly, really tender, and the pork had a lovely spice to it. There were two sauces on the table to add to the dishes if you wished and the chilli sauce was delicious. The KFC was also really delicious and the kimchi mayo was a great choice. I thought for the two dishes, the side and two drinks that around £27 was very reasonable. The staff were also very friendly.

Very poor service with a bad attitude and a horrible food quality. We have experienced an awful treatment of the staffs and after all they didn't change our meal when they actually didn't even bring the one which we ordered. Terrible!

La première fois que j'ai mangé coréens c'était il y a bien des années à Berlin et c'était juste fantastique! Nous sommes tombé sur ce restaurant dans le cœur de Soho par hasard et nous ne sommes pas déçus. Un petit 35 minutes d'attente pour 4 (bien plus rapide si vous êtes 2 ou 3), mais cela valait le temps d'attente. Excellent et le service très bien. On va y revenir.

This was my 4th visit to the restaurant. The service has always been mediocre and the food has always been good. However, today I visited the toilet and it was absolutely disgusting. The bins were full and there was tissue all over the floor. They smelt awful and there was blood all along the rim of one of the toilet seats. My husband also visited the men's toilet and he noticed excrement all over the seat and the back of the toilet. He couldn't actually eat the rest of his meal.We told the staff when we paid for our meal. One member of staff responded with 'well it is the kitchen staff that clean the toilets. I haven't been in there today'. Another member of staff apologised but they didn't say that they would sort it. They actually didn't seem to care and it appeared that there wasn't a manager in the restaurant.

We were passing by and decided to try this Korean place. The restaurant is relatively small, more snug than cosy, but still has a pleasant tone and the staff makes it welcoming. The food was very good, we shared a spicy ricecake, and had an entrée each: Beef bool-go-gi and Dolsot with raw egg, both tasty and served in a sizzling bowl that kept it hot till the end - I was puzzled when my daughter asked for a raw egg on her Dolsot, but I later learned that the raw egg gets cooked on the hot food, like with the carbonara sauce, and the results is very good. It was good we were dressed in layers, between spices and food temperature we were down to t-shirts and still sweating. Service was cordial and efficient, and the waiter was good at providing explanations on the various dishes. With one beer each the bill was £ 34 for the two of us, including the 10% "discretionary" service, not bad for London. A place to keep in mind for the future.

This was our first experience of Korean other than Korean BBQ. We loved it! Such great flavours! Bibimbap is definitely my new favourite thing! It is also very affordable. Whilst a little packed and cramped it's worth it for the food!

Excellent food but service a little slow and interior a bit shabby. Hot stone dishes and fresh veg work really well. Seafood was a treat.

Recently ate at this restaurant. Busy, bustling and a bit cramped. The staff were friendly and helpful and the rice dishes delicious. Unfortunately the fried chicken portions were a bit on the small side ... just order 3 portions for two people. The sauces were delicious, and everything washed down with pleasant Korean beer. Well worth a second visit but watch those portion sizes ...

We love this place and it's our go to if we want a casual dinner with friends. It can get quite busy but we've always managed to get a table without booking. The food is really yummy and is super cheap for somewhere so central.

I came about 6pm and ordered the beef bimbimbap. When I was ordering, the waitress suggested me to add an egg to my meal and I politely turned her down as I couldn't understand why they would charge customers £1 for an egg that was essential in a traditional bimbimbap dish!? It was just another way of milking customers' money! I sat there like 30 minutes and no signs of my dish... I started to ask different waiter/waitress and they said it's coming but nothing... they didn't look like they cared when I asked them. Also, I think the kitchen couldn't cope as it was a 'busy' Wednesday night and one waitress was pretty taking aback by one customer's complaint regarding a lukewarm dish which got sent back to their counter. I had waited long for my food in other restaurants before, and usually the manager would come and offer free drinks or discount. So I was like, let me see what they would do.After a few minutes, my dish finally arrived and the waitress said she's sorry that I have waited so long. Finally, one person was feeling sorry. But that was about it. The food was not bad, but I wouldn't say it's the best Korean bimbimbap I have tried. I did enjoy it but the long waiting spoiled my mood a lot. I couldn't wait to get out of that place. It took FOREVER to pay my bills as I spoke to 3 different waiters or waitresses and all of them said yes but all went to did something else after speaking to me. Not to mention it took AGES to get my change back. I saw how my change was sitting on the desk and 2-3 people looked at it and did nothing, this is the most disorganised place I have ever been. My frustration level was HIGH! I was NOT HAPPY that I had to pay for their discretionary service charge as the service was so disorganised at it best. I WILL NOT come back.

I was really impressed with this unassuming looking place. Having lived in Seoul for nearly 5 years, I've had some pretty decent street food, and in my opinion Bi Bim Bap serves the most authentic tasting Korean cuisine outside of Korea. The hot stone bowl is definitely the dish to go for, washed down with a beer and some fried baby octopus on the side. Delicious!

Went there with my daughter, we both liked it a lot. The food is served in stone bowls that keeps it hot. The interior is very basic and it is very small but it didn't matter as the food was very nice. Not cheap as you would expect in central London. Highly recommended.

I ordered the spicy pork bibimbap with egg on top. It was £9.50 and I don't think there was service charge. The portion were quite small for the price and there were spicy sauce given on the table to make it more spicy. It was a good bibimbap, but I wish the portion were a bit bigger.

I've eaten here around 15-20 times since they first opened at this location in 2010. It's a great, delicious, casual meal. I felt I should write some comments as my most recent visit here (yesterday) was disappointing due to the large amount of added oil they used in mine and my girlfriends Bibimbap. Usually there is little or no oil at all. The last part of rice and veg was inedible due to swimming in several tablespoons of oil at the bottom of the bowl. I'm not sure why yesterday was different to my usual experience - perhaps it was supposed to stop the rice sticking to the bowl, or maybe it was a mistake. I will no doubt return at some point - but probably won't return again if they continue adding lots of oil.

Just returned from a great evening dining here! The menu is split between the signature Bi Bim Bap range (bowled rice with salad and choice of topping), Rice, Noodle and Ramen dishes so plenty of choice to pick from.We ordered the KFC (Korean fried chicken) as a side which was incredible! The Mayo garnish was amazing! Also got the prawn katsu which was great.The bill came to £40 between 2 of us which included 2x sides, 2x bi Bim baps and 2x non alc drinks - well priced for a low key catch up with a friend!Would definitely go back and recommend highly!
