Shoryu in City of London, Westminster

One of the best ramen spots on Oxford Street – Shoryu Ramen! Their tonkotsu ramen is rich, creamy, and full of flavor. Also loved the donburi pork and takoyaki – both absolutely delicious. Highly recommend!

We ate an excellent ramen in a central and at the same time relaxing location. Above all, we appreciated the attention of Stella who welcomed us with a smile, gave us excellent advice on what to try from the menu and was kind and very professional throughout the service! Exemplary customer care!

Great food and service. Only one minor issue is we use have Asahi with frozen frost on top however it’s not the case in this occasion. Beer abit flat

We sat outside at Carnaby St and our Black Tonkotsu and Chicken Katsu Curry Ramen were amazing! Stella explained the menu to us incredibly well and was so so kind!! 😊

This location is a great place. There are many restaurants on 3 floors. We chose Japanese cuisine at Shoryu. The food was very tasty. Very nice staff, especially Valentina.

Jyoti was friendly, attentive, and made us feel truly welcome. She went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience and the fool was amazing.

On my first trip to London ever, I felt so comforted by the staff, atmosphere, and food. One of the best ramen dishes I’ve ever had! One of the employees, Nathan, walked us through everything and made great recommendations.

We returned to London and didn't hesitate to spend our first evening at Shoryu. Warm welcome and excellent food. Stella recommended the right dishes and gave us the opportunity to discover new dishes of Japanese cuisine. Highly recommended stop!

Visited today at lunchtime and had a great experience! The food was delicious, especially the takoyaki, which was perfect and full of flavor. I also really enjoyed the ramen, although it was a little spicier than I expected. The staff were very understanding and kindly removed it from our bill without hesitation. A big thank you to Amir, our waiter, who took excellent care of us throughout the meal. Will definitely be coming back.

Absolutely amazing experience! Hands down the best ramen my partner and I have ever had — full of flavor, comforting, and perfectly balanced. The staff were incredibly kind and accommodating, especially with our teen who was trying Japanese food for the first time and can be quite picky. They were happy to serve the curry sauce on the side so she could enjoy her chicken and rice her way, and in the end, we ended up finishing the sauce ourselves — it was that good! Great food, lovely service, and such a welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend!

I’ve visited a few of the Shroyu branches and this by far is my favourite. The service was top tier, our waiter Amir was welcoming and speedy with our food. Everything came on time with no delay. He is fantastic at his job. The staff were friendly and the ramen was delicious. I will for sure be visiting again.

I've been dining at Shoryu restaurants for years now, but this particular branch is frankly a disgrace. If you're seated outside, you're required to order via a QR code, and you're not allowed to remove the service charge — despite there being absolutely no interaction with any staff member. The only "service" provided is someone silently dropping your food at the table, without so much as a "Enjoy your meal." If you prefer to order without using the QR code, you're expected to pay upfront before eating, which feels completely disrespectful. The food itself is excellent, as it always is across the chain, but the entire experience is thoroughly ruined by the lack of proper service.

I had a fantastic experience at this ramen restaurant! The broth was rich and flavorful, the noodles perfectly cooked, and the toppings were fresh and generous. What really stood out, though, was the service — Amir was exceptional. He was friendly, attentive, and made great recommendations that really elevated the meal. It’s rare to find someone so genuinely warm and professional. I’ll definitely be coming back — both for the ramen and for Amir’s outstanding service!

Very good find in this colorful courtyard. Discovery of new flavors, generous dishes, fast and efficient service. It was perfect.

Ordered two baos and a bowl of ramen. The baos arrived on their own. One was way undercooked. We brought it to the server’s attention and he tried to explain that it wasn’t but rather steamed. We explained we’ve had bao buns many times before. He finally offered to replace it. Still no ramen. I brought it to his attention and suddenly a bowl of lukewarm ramen appeared. It had clearly been sat waiting. I told him it was cold and that the toppings were clearly cold to the touch. Instead of apologising he told me I needed to mix the soup before eating it, like I’d never eaten a hot meal before. The bowl itself was lukewarm so what difference would have made? I told him that the food was lukewarm and I wanted a refund. The refund took a while but was issued. I got an email saying I’d get the money back in 10 days. What was really disappointing was that they only had customers at 5 tables. They weren’t even remotely busy. Just not interested in providing service.

Small portion of the cod curry, and few veggies compared to other branches. The soup is not as tasty than other branches. We sat outside as my friend has her own food though I ordered 2 meals. High service fee though the condiments was not given to us and we kept on waving from outside for takeaway boxes we still need to get up 3x just to ask for assistance.
