Wok Express in Blaby

This was the worst Chinese takeaway we've ever had. The food wasn't fresh, the chicken was all dried up and hard. It must have been reheated from the day before. All of the food was very greasy. Definitely wasn't worth the money, very disappointed.

Lovely food but recent delivery was over 30 minutes later than advised! No apology when chased or from delivery driver.

Their food is the best I highly praise always and forever . We have home delivery from and they dont takes ages to arrive.

Ordered food for delivery they sent plain chips instead of salted chilli chips rang them to let them know not that we we were overly bothered and they said they had it down as chips so thought fair enough then realised we had been given beef chow mien instead of chicken so rang again the man on the phone again said they’d got it down as beef and insisted it was our mistake as I was trying to explain they had just clearly got 2 things wrong he hung up with the mardys terrible Customer service we’ve used them for a long time but the man was just arrogant and couldnt care less

Despite having a chinese takeaway in our own village we have ordered from New Wok for some years now even though it’s in a neighbouring village. The food is always lovely but tonight I was beyond disgusted in their customer care approach. We ordered our meal and when it arrived we realised we were short of one dish, I called back up to be told I was wrong and hadn’t ordered it despite having three family members with me who all confirmed they had heard me say it. As the conversation continued the person on the end of the phone became ruder and ruder. I commented about how their ethos must be that “the customer is always wrong” and he agreed that that was true! In the end I said “ok can I have the additional dish or not?” Which was answered by the phone being hung up. Manners cost nothing and I was most upset by the experience. It seems from here on we’ll be using the Chinese in the village, what a shame that one persons small mindedness and inability to handle customer relations has left such a bitter taste in our mouths.

The meal came I had ordered mushroom curry and boiled rice and my wife had chicken and onion. We served it out and sat down to eat the first spoon full didn’t taste of much and nor did the rest of both dinners. We replaced to food back into there trays and called the restaurant and complained that the food had no taste what so ever I had paid over £15 and was not happy I told the man on the telephone that I would bring the dinner back for a refund he said that’s ok call again for a dinner to replace it. So tang ordered and a knock at the door said you have got to pay they have given you a discount of £2.00. I can not say for anyone else but I would not pay to eat tasteless food nor be lied to to get me off the phone I offered to return the meals within 15 minutes of them being delivered if you can’t taste anything then order form here I recommend you try Windleys in COSBY. DONT ORDER FOOD FROM HERE AS MINE WAS TASTELESS AND IT COST £15.00 that was are treat once a week and I must say I am very upset with how they have treated me and I will never order again!

Great food, great service, delivery or collection. Our favourite takeaway. Have used it for a long time. All of our friends agree, we all use Wok Express it has a very good reputation.

Love the food from here, quite reasonably priced too. The mixed starter is delicious. Can't decide which is my favourite dish from here, had so many that have been great, prawn curry, chow mien both fantastic. Love the seaweed and the duck pancakes too. Staff very friendly. Always great service.

We have tried a few restaurants in this area and were pleasantly surprised, first at the options, then the kind owner / staff and then the food itself. Absolutely tasty and well worth a trip over to Enderby.
