Literally the best fish and chips in Portsmouth and Southsea. Great service from a family run business and consistently the best take away.

The fish and chips here are consistently the best I’ve ever tasted. Everything is cooked freshly and stays hot in the wrapping. Crisp batter, soft fish and the chips are cooked to perfection. The owners are friendly and welcoming and have run the business themselves for years. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for fish and chips.

Wanted a takeaway to celebrate my birthday and had been recommended here so gave it a try. Absolutely awesome food and loads of it too, will definitely be going back and letting friends know about how good Wok and Chips is

We were recommended to use Wok and Chips by some friends. It was my husband's birthday so we ordered a meal to take home. The food was really delicious, the service was excellent, a great experience all round. We will definitely return. Thank you Wok and Chips you made my husband's day.

Has always been and always will be EXCELLENT. Great staff as well.

Cheap and cheerful. Singapore vermicelli is the highlight. Great pork chops that melted off the bone, too. For the price, you can't complain.

We were visiting our friends for a one night stay, and being a Monday Top Wok was one of the only Chinese takeaways open. Reviews were quiet reasonable so we were expecting a decent meal. Perhaps the chefs were having an off day but the food was very poor and certainly not an acceptable standard. The beef in the curry was more like shoe leather as a was the chicken in another dish. I won’t go on about the standard of the other food, but we will certainly not be back for more.

Good fish and generous portions of chips. Quick service. Pleasant people. One of my usual stops for fish n chips.

British & Chinese fusion kitchen. They only accept cash and can sometimes be closed for long durations.

Lovely fish and chip bar. Chinese menu was unavailable on my visit but the fish and chips were very tasty and freshly cooked. Very reasonably priced for the quality and quantity.

Poor, went by 4.7 review, certainly not worth it by long way. Medium fish is small and my wife had dryed up piece with bones in. Chips don't make up for it Just bland, if you want fish and chips, there are better, can't think of worse!

Well, what can I say? The fish and chips perfect, but I tried their curry sauce and mixed balls, simply delicious, scrumptious and not to be forgotten. Can't wait to go back, again. Although, have to restrict due to the potential of putting on huge amount of weight.

Excellent battered beef burger and chips before supporting Bristol Rovers away at Pompey last night. The match, a 1-1 draw, was full of excitement but poor quality - unlike the food!

We come here on Tuesdays sometimes. We love how you can choose between a chippy or a Chinese. The clock is also weirdly fascinating which is something that I don't normally say in the reviews but it is truly great! Good prices, good food, great place!

In my humble opinion this is the best fish & chip shop in the south of the city. The fish is superb with lovely crispy batter, also the fish cakes are lovely & the chips are PROPER chips. I personally have not tried the Chinese but my wife has & I don’t think she’s ever complained Al & Kim are nice friendly owners. As another reviewer said. It’s always busy

My local chippy. Good fish and chips and good value (good portions of chips, one large is easily enough for two people, even three if, unlike me, you're a sensible eater!). Also does Chinese food but IBD never had any from there so can't comment.

Very nice place and people, chips and barbecue sauce was very nice although the sauce could be a bit thicker as it just runs of the chips.Also my order didn't come in a bag so had to carry it home which was very hot, aside this the food was lovely!

Excellent local fish and chips, cooked to order which I find is always best. I would rather wait a few minutes so that the fish, chips sausage in batter are cooked That way they are not having to be reheated when you get home. Lots of chips as well which is great. This is ideal for our family as my husband does not eat foreign food so the excellent fish and chips suits him exactly while my darter likes the duck dishes an I lov th special curry , the best tkeaway curry so far in Portsmouth.

Had a take away from here recently and was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the cod. Nicely seasoned. well drained and tasty too boot. Chips were ok, again nicely drained of excess fat but seemed a little processed.

Went for fish and chips . Ordered large fish and chips . The fish was not a lot different from medium fish in size , the large chips were large . The chips were well cooked and not swimming in fat and was from a slightly sweet potatoes and tasted great !!!!!! The fish was nice as well .No seating to eat inside , clean and friendly .The chip shop is less than 10 mins from Fratton Park an,d less than 15 mins from Fratton station. It is a chinese as well and lots of locals ordering , cannot comment on this food.
