First time using this takeaway on friends recommendation, delivery was very fast

received wrong rice dish, so whole meal was spoiled

Amazing food, ordered braised beef with green pepper in black bean sauce and the quarter crispy aromatic duck - and it was great! Very good pricing too in my opinion, would recommend

Food is normally excellent but tonight, green curry was very watery & duck was fatty/chewy. The chicken satay was inedible, stodgy peanut sauce more like a dollop of peanut butter. The shredded beef & chicken curry was hot and nice.

took an hour and a half to arrive. noodles were overcooked and mushy. chicken balls were overcooked, dry chicken and really oily batter. won't order from here again.

Ribs and Chicken balls were delicious. The chicken curry was way too hot (like if I'd asked for extra hot) so couldn't eat it. We used to love this for a special treat but can't afford to risk it again. Will make my own in future..... such a shame.

Probably the best Singapore fried rice I have tried in the country. It was so warm and well seasoned!

The new styling of the just eat menu has moved everything around and resulted in me ordering chow mien Singapore style instead of Singapore style rice noodles (my fault totally) but the food was, as usual, outstanding!

Ordered prawns in batter prawns were chewy batter was over cooked curry sauce was nice pancake rolls ended in bin also missing fried rice won't be back

Mini spring rolls were ok, either the chicken fried rice, which I always have with curry sauce, or the sauce was very salty, went in the bin I’m afraid!

Food was so bland, nothing had any flavour even tho we ordered 2 spicy meals, everything lacked seasoning. It all smelled like old fat, Very disappointed as was trying something new from our usual Chinese takeaway on my daughters bday and she barely ate any of her usual favourite dish......

Absolutely delicious! Always wary about trying new takeaways but our usual was shut so took a chance on Peninsula. Turned out to be a great decision and could even be our new go-to Chinese!? Best Chicken Satay Skewers 🤤

Used to think this was best Chinese takeaway in area, there chicken curry n rice is to die for easily the best I've had. But to tell you the truth though there chefs special chow mein is bloody awesome. Just don't get it with the prawns in it there vile, prawns should not be slimey

Wow spare ribs in barbecue sauce, supposed to be a starter. Was full after eating them. 😋 Then the chicken curry 🍛 😋 with egg fried rice awesome just the right amount of spice for the kick in the mouth. Highly recommended 👌

With high reviews I was expecting a lot better, salt seemed to be the only flavour, chicken was awful, seemed like it had been half cooked and sitting in preservatives for a few weeks before being finished.

I have had currys from here they are amazing, nice and hot and good quality, and good amount of food, chip always nice and love the rice, and i always order from gere as food is brilliant, i have oreded somehere else and it dont beat this place, i will continue ti order from thos shop, i use to come here when my kids was small, they all grown up now, so its been years, thanks Elaine

I’ve been going here for my Chinese for years and wouldn’t go anywhere else great food great service and always on time and lovely staff if I could rate it 10/10 I would.

Been using the peninsula on and off for over 20 years and over the last year the quality of the food has been getting worse. The special curry had way too much salt which overpowered the taste, The egg fried rice was a dark brown as if the chef poured a whole bottle of soya sauce over it and the Spring rolls Peking style hadn't been cooked properly the middle was cold and had a strange taste, everything just tasted of salt.

Great quality food, great selection, crispy beef is crispy and not soggy like other places, satay sauce is amazing, tastes fresh and comes v hot, def recommend.

Used to use this take away many years ago but moved away. Now back and delighted to find the quality of the food is still as great as it always was 👍

The cashew chicken was flavourless and slimy. The soup was gelatinous and impossible to eat

ive been coming here for years and the last 2 times it has been not up to standard chow mein has dry and hardly any meat pork balls tasted funny

It’s probably more my fault for trying something new but I wasn’t impressed with the orange chicken for the price. It was just a chopped chicken fillet in some very sweet sauce and some slices of orange on top. The rest of the food was delicious, I just maybe wouldn’t pick that meal again!!

I’ll be honest, this was legitimately the, THE blandest Chinese takeaway I’ve ever had… I’ve had more flavour in a glass of Portsmouths finest chalky tap water. Guys….please add some kind of salt or MSG’s to your food. If I ever feel like eating some paper flavoured sweet and sour chicken or maybe some air flavoured chicken chow mien again…then I’ll order from here because these guys are the Gordon Ramsey of worst Chinese takeaways.
