Well organised table service via the app. Good selection of food including desserts. Good portion sizes and hot. Jason was really helpful and made the visit really enjoyable. Will definitely visit again.

my takeaway was on time and was a really large portion but was lacking in taste. i ordered the salt and chilli box, with wings, chips, ribs, chicken balls and spring rolls but it was all quite bland and lacked kick. salt and chilli ribs and wings are among my favorite things in the world and i was excited to try the box. great price but just lacks in executions. the ribs we chewy and dry, wings were dry and the spring rolls, also one of my favorites were also lacking taste. i may try here again in the future but today was just a little below par for my tastes

I’m not very satisfied. Food are lower average, restaurant have a lot food to choice but everything taste same. Not enough spices, I was feel like I’m eat a baby food.

There's, literally no problem with following guidelines, track and trace, been took to the tables, cleaning down, staff do that well.It's the concept of buffet, I've always enjoyed my meals at wings. Obviously the changes have been forced on them. But, using the app, isn't the same. I always known what I like, and this reduced menu, has lost most of what I like. I found the waiting a bit too long. And for whatever reason, most of my food was either luke warm or cold.This concept has ruined it for me, even with the new 20 per cent off, I see their doing now. I won't be returning till its back to normal.You have to buy a overpriced drink, to get that offer. Which wipes out the offer. Having such a reduced menu. Isn't worth it. Asked the wife at the end if she liked it, it was alright, not that fussed really, kind of summed it for me

My boyfriend and I visited, temperature was checked at the door and we all had to fill up the test and trace and then a special app was installed. Once seating we were shown how to use the app, ordering up to five things at a time with no limits and the friendly staff brought over each dish and drinks etc. So no one really had to get up from their seats. Everyone was socially distanced and all staff was wearing masks and gloves. Tables are deep cleaned after customers leaving too. This is definitely the safest I’ve felt going out since covid arrived.

A very safe & efficient way to order and receive a Chinese buffet in uncertain times . GR8 value for money ,plenty of choice & no waste as 5 items ordered per person per course.

The food was not fresh, I went in the night time and the food tasted like it was left over from the lunch time, I complained and the staff were not interested

We visited Wings on our last night in Hull. They followed the COVID guidelines, (checking temperature on arrival) Was welcomed by a lovely man that was very friendly. The restaurant inside was very pretty. Cocktails were very nice but the food was really poor. We ordered salt and pepper prawns which were very dry. Ordered food which came warm and were very small portion sizes.

Under covid we understand that time's are difficult, but if you can't provide good food you should not be open.Food was warm at best, chicken was dry and warm ups, it's a buffet but you can't help yourself.We are from out of we're he area and were recommended this place but are very disappointed.Similar places in Manchester, Briton, Birmingham, boughnmouth, Exeter, fantastic. Don't expect to much.

We received the warmest welcome from the girl called Isabelle at the entrance but that was the only thing warm in there. We went there at around 7:30 and the food was dry and cold but the dessert was good especially the pancakes. The staffs at the buffet were so grumpy ! The complete opposite of the girl upstairs ! They definitely know who to put in the front ! Advice for the owner : don’t let her go.

We had to wait outside for 1 hr we had a table booked but they would not let us in when we did get seated food was cold and puddings was only the right size for my granddaughter to eat who is 1 yr old so dont go.

Very slow to get in. You need a phone to scan the app was quite annoying, some of the food was cold and several of us thought the satay chicken was undercooked. Only 2 out of 8 of us where asked to scan the app so we had to take in in turns to order from the 2 phones. Think it could be organised better. Staff where very helpful under the circumstance, however we did ask to speak to a manager three times to no avail and this was mainly are concern about the satay chicken. Will not be going again unless things change to much of a headache.

This was my first visit to Wings post lockdown and overall I was quite disappointed.The food offering was reduced and the the way that you had to place your order via an app I found to be poor. There was only two of us, and both agreed that we where glad we did not bring our kids as having to order one meal at a time and been told that we could not use more than one device would mean that if we had brought the kids of which we have 5 between us would have been a nightmare. We also found that by the time the order had been picked, then left of the side for a server to collect it and bring to use the food was Luke warm at best.I think the most irritating factor was that if you did not want to use the app you could just go behind the counter wearing a mask and the staff would pick your order for you. I only found this out when asked, and my main disappointment with this was if you did order via the app, anyone choosing to not order via it could basically jump the queue! Hence probably why it took 25 minutes for my first plate to arrive.I probably will go back again, but not until they’re back to been a pick your own buffet.

Service: The service was terrible. There was one helpful young waiter with blonde streaks but the rest were rude. They didn't care at all... they were missing food from orders and one of the waiters literally threw the sauce and salt sachets onto the table. Attitude was disgusting and we were not made to feel very welcome at all. Food:The food didn't arrive at the same time... I had finished my starter, main and dessert while others were still waiting for their main. My partner was waiting up to 50 minutes for her main despite the place not being busy and the food was already prepared. The chicken nuggets and other fried food was like rubber and inedible. The yorkshire pudding was rock solid. It is as if the food had been sat there all day. The cutlery was dirty and in general the place just looked unclean. My Lasagne:Wow... If the picture uploads...you will see how they served it. It was black and crispy and to top of the presentation, it was served on a delightful dirty plate :/. This place should remain shut... even with no pandemic! AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS.

My Daughter treated me to lunch at the wings restaurant in Hull. A member of staff called Jason was more then very helpful his service was excellent.Very friendly.The staff where all wearing masks when serving up food.The food was cold and really small portions not much to choose from on a lunch menu. Feel a bit let down food wise.

Despite Covid19 the meal was excellent, staff attentive, all wore face masks and food was served quickly. We will eat here again the next time we are in Hull.

Okay food but loaded with msg and salt, before you even leave you feel like you need to chug a bucket of water to stop your mouth turning into the Sahara desert.

This place was recommended and I wasn't disappointed, it's the best buffet I've ever been to. You pay on way in £12.95 each. Drinks are bought inside. There is literally something for everyone, excellent choice, food and taste.

We visited for the first time Unfortunately I have to say it will be our last time. First of all the toilets were not clean and smelt of urine overall cleanliness I felt could’ve been improved in the facility. Some of the food stations the food was dried out as if it had been left out longer than it should of been. We was queuing at the bar ( why you can’t be served at your table I don’t get ) so we didn’t get another drink as queuing all the time . The food I got was greasy or tasteless I think they are trying to cook to many different types and should try and stick with fewer to improve quality . Sorry to say the staff weren’t friendly and some looked scruffy in appearance or was sat down eating in their phones. Sorry do not recommend at all

Although at first I thought it was pricey I was amazed at the variety of foods you can get! I loved it, all food was hot, only criticism I would say was some of the deserts were still part frozen but it was busy so they probably had trouble keeping up without having to much wastage. I'd certainly go again

Went here for a birthday meal (the birthday girls choice) as I would prefer to starve then eat here one more time! Six of us plus drinks came to a hundred pounds which would have been acceptable had it not tasted like garbage. Cheap food cooked by terrible chefs in a restaurant that is completely void of atmosphere, personality or charm. Told the kids this was their final visit and never to ask to go again!

We haven't been to wings for a while,we went at 5.00 and were shown to our table. What a selection of cuisines and dishes, all you can eat certainly didn't dissapoint, the food scrummy, dine around the world without leaving the place. Always enjoy a visit to wings.

We spotted Wings whilst out walking during a 3 day break to the city and decided to give it a try that evening. We were so glad we did. You pay for your buffet on entry and are then directed downstairs into a cavernous restaurant. There is a bar area serving bottomless soft drinks on draught, beers, wines and spirits, which you pay for separately.The food on offer was delicious, amazing, plentiful and we were spoiled for choice. Indian, Chinese, Thai, Japanese, Italian, good old British roasts, chips... and desserts to die for...what’s not to like about this place?We only wish we lived nearer!Give it a go...you won’t be disappointed.

Wings is an all you can eat buffet style restaurant. There are so many dishes from all sorts of different cuisines. The layout is a bit school dining room, but that shouldn't distract from the quality of the food. You should be hungry to do this place justice.

Was so busy and even though we booked, we still waited a while . Most of the food was great and I love it. Just the odd thing like the prawn toast which was rock hard. Didn’t put me off though. Really enjoyed it. Pity we had two tables as it was a party for my grandson . Not the same when half the party is on another table ,back to back. Won’t put me off going back.

On a trip to Hull and my friends suggested this place and believe me I wasn't disappointed. They said it was quietest they has seen it which was probably cos it was a Monday evening and they usually go weekends.

It is an all you can eat underground restaurant. You pay the entrance fee at the reception and than they bring you underground to the main area. If you like Asian food, you will find here some very good stuff, if not, there are also pizza and some other main stream dishes as well. The problem is the food buffet is kept in heated containers for quite some time , so it's not always fresh.

so far ive only tried the lunchtime menu so far which i felt was a bit of a let down, the flavours were a bit poor and only had your basic foods, but we are hoping to try an evening to see if its any better?

We ate here with family and friends thinking there would be something for everyone. Upon arrival I was amazed at the number of dishes. However, on closer inspection it appeared there was incredibly little choice for vegetarians and vegans. I walked around a couple of times, convinced I must have missed a few dishes but sadly not. I therefore found the place to be very poor value for money. My children were also very disappointed with the choice available to them as pescetarians. Chips, garlic bread and rice were available but little else. Won't be returning.

Great place for parties vast selection of food to cater all needs so everyone is happy staff friendly and helpful

I was pleasnetly surprised upon visiting ..the food was plentiful and was topped up regularly..food could have been hotter was just luke warm ...would i go back yes ...

My mates have been to wings and loved it so we said we would go on a dinner time but i would go at dinner time the food was poor not worth the money it put me off willnt be going again

Met up with friends for an early meal on Saturday before going to theatre. Good job we went early there were over 20 people queuing to get in as we left ! That explains the rather rushed service from staff - whilst it is a buffet- staff seemed rather keen to clear away plates so they could get the next batch of diners in !! Didnt like that at all- even tho we wanted quick meal before the theatre. It is good value. The food is good quality for price and there is a large selection- but it is a ' 'bun fight' on a Saturday evening and I would not return !

At only £7.95 a head just cant go wrong especially if you like Chinese or Indian food. Loads to choose from.

Been to this restaurant a few times what I don't like is you feel uncomfortable when you are eating staff hovering around you and feel like you have to eat every bit of your meal you put your knife down for a second and your plates gone they seem to be rushing you in out to serve the next punter it gives me the impression it's just money money money with this place I go to a better place next time we're I can relax and not feel rushed

I have to say this was a really nice experience to eat somewhere like that it was amazing going there I loved all of the food

I have to say that i really enjoyed this place a lot when i am back at home when i visit my family there and i like the food a lot.

We stopped off for some lunch at Wings restaurant and overall the experience was ok. The restaurant was very busy with people walking into each other as they are trying to select form the many choices of dishes available on the buffet tables. The food was warm and there was a really big selection to chose from. The staff was friendly but as soon as you have barely finished your food they are rushing to take your plates away which made the whole experience feel very rushed. Our daughter loved the selection of deserts and ice creams on offer. You can order drinks that are refills but there in a minimum charge of £10 if you wanted to pay on your card. I don’t think we will eat here again as it all seemed very rushed, get you in, sat down, eat and go.

Great food, great atmosphere. The food is delicious and staff and friendly and helpful. I've been a few times now and never had a bad experience or a bad dish.

Great price, great service, all clean and well kept, great range of dishes, the Asian food especially was good. Large dessert bar too with chocolate fountain and fresh crepes!

I was surprised at the amount of different selections. However, everything was lukewarm. Service was good and worth a visit but the food needs to improve.

We’ve not always enjoyed buffet-style restaurants but Wings is something different altogether. Four of us went to Wings for an early evening meal. What a place! I’ve never seen such a variety of cuisines in one place. The food was well prepared, very tasty and good value for money. The service was excellent and we shall definitely be making a return visit - very impressed.

We haven't been here for years, still good value. Brought my daughter and two friends and worked out far cheaper than a chain pub. Catered for a vegetarian,a fussy eater and food intolerances.

Went there lunch time with my friends. Service was great from beginning. My eyes couldn't believe the great selection of food.It was like heaven. :)Unfortunately couldn't taste everything just so much food.All tasty and freshly made.All cuisines. Good for vegetarians as well.Good selection desserts.I could have easily stayed there all day and nibble on all those yummy food.I will be returning.

Went at 9pm asked for a pancake member of staff who was very abrupt as if didn't want to serve me but did begrudgingly due to area being cleaned up and stuff put away. Wasn't very pleasant at all as if she just wanted to go home.

Visited here at Sunday lunch time for the first time. Have to pay for a food ticket before you go downstairs to where the buffet is, the ticket is only for the food. When you get downstairs you have to then go queue up and pay for a drink, which I got unlimited Pepsi, have to queue up each time and order another drink when you want a refil, instead of their being a machine which would be much easier. Tables are a bit on top of each other, but wasn’t as busy as expected at 130pm on a Sunday. Food was great, loads of choice! Didn’t know what to have to be honest but had quite a few of the Chinese dishes- recommend. Desserts brilliant too! Couldn’t decide, I wanted them all! Won’t rush back here though, as don’t live nearby it’s not worth driving a distance for but was a nice experience.

Horrendous service from start to finish. Was not greeted with respect, it was just “hello, sit here type of thing”. I ended up slipping on the metal base of the table and spilling my drink - I was made to feel as though I was being told off for this despite it being their own fault for not ensuring the surface was dry/safe. My boyfriend became unwell so I let him have 1 mouthful of my drink and we were then also told off for this - because if he wants a drink he must pay for one himself(it was coca-cola). Whilst getting deserts we asked one member of staff about 4-5 times where something was and she continuously ignored us. Ignorant staff with no idea what they are doing or what “customer service means”. I think we will stick to real China - real service at the least.

Visited on a Saturday evening, 4 adults and 3 children. Long queue outside the door and you need to pay before being given your entry ticket. Food fair but disappointing, staff surly and horrible, atmosphere too. Fine if you want to pig out with others close by but not for us.

Absolutely amazing place, very clean. Food to suit all adults and children. International cuisine is on the door and that’s exactly what is inside. If you head to Hull, you must try this experience. We are definitely going to arrange another trip.

Was quite busy, even for a Monday evening. Tried a few dishes that I would never have eaten before. Food is good but didn't like that staff were hovering around us, unless they really, really needed the 4 plates from our table! Not relaxing when you are being watched to eat. May return on a weekday lunchtime when not so busy

I've been numerous times to wings, afternoons and evenings. And overall, most days its been pretty busy.

Have been quite a few times and can not fault the delicious food at all. Perfect temperature/choice. It is a little noisy as usually busy however overall has not put me off going time and time again. Love It !

Went yesterday. Food was hot and the selection was impressive. Price was great value for £7.95 each. However, the food was really oily/greasy, a lot of plates weren’t clean, tables and decor a bit battered. Simple things like 2 plain chow meins weren’t tasty and sweet and sour chicken was spongy not crispy. Ribs were good but almost bit on chunks of bone 3 times. My wife loved it though.

Visited wings a few times in the past and loved it. Got seated straight away and food was always lovely and hot.

Fast pasted all you can eat dining with fab freshly cooked, beaut food put out every min and dirty plates cleared in seconds!!

First time we'd been, visited just after 5pm on way to cinema, really surprised with the choice and quality of food. Where to start? Every dish fresh and hot, nicely set out, our 11 year old loved the sushi, we had to pay full price for her, I note others are complaining about this, but it's fair, she eats more then me! Fabulous choice, veg fresh and crisp, obviously a good time to visit. The dessert section was huge , from chocolate fountain to fresh melon. Parents should keep eye on children though, one child sat near us, had his hand in the fountain and was patting the ice-cream which his mum thought funny. Staff friendly and helpful. Will definitely go again.

A busy place for good reason. Huge selection of food to choose from. We don't frequently visit, but when we do we've always left feeling very satisfied.

Was staying overnight at the Ibis close by. Decided to give this place a try.

2nd visit this month was for Hubby’s birthday lunch treat. Although not every hot option was available there was still more than enough to choose from. All hot and tasty food.. Chinese and Indian being my personal favourites. It is quite a bit cheaper on a lunchtime too although still just as enjoyable

My Daughter Took Me For A Meal In Wings Ferensway Hull. There was plenty of choices to pick from and plenty of desserts and Value for Money. I really enjoyed my meal with my daughter there. I rate it 5 stars.

I thought we were going to a Chinese buffet and was really surprised at the different cuisines on offer, all of which were lovely. Pleasant staff and plenty of room between tables. Would definitely go again. Keith ( Cleethorpes )

All the national dishes you can think of, under one roof. Is it the best food you will ever have? No but it doesn’t matter, it’s good for the price, excellent for the choice and great for the kids to try new foods.

We zagen Wings voor het eerst tijdens een zoeksessie "wat te doen in Hull". Het leek ons leuk om daar tijdens onze minicruise met P&O; te gaan lunchen, mede gezien de relatief lage prijs van GBP 7,95 pp.

Absolute terrible, all the food tastes the same over salted and tasteless. You are herded in like cattle eat as much as you can and get out. Not for me, no atmosphere, no service, no enjoyment.

Wings has a great selection of food for all and the deserts are amazing and you can have as much as you like.

Depending on when you go there is usually a very good selection. At lunchtime there is less selection so you pay less (6.95) however at dinnertime you pay upwards of £15 but you get options such as live cooking stations and a wider range of deserts and meals. The customer service leaves a lot to be desired, the staff are rude and the main priority is clearing tables. It can also get really busy for both lunch and dinner so you may find you are queuing for a long time for certain things. The staff are accommodating to special occasions such as birthdays and if you ask will play happy birthday on the speakers and make a deal out of it. There are lots of options with a lot of international food such as Chinese, Italian, Indian and Japanese. They also have a chocolate fountain, crepe station and ice cream. It is worth going at least once to experience and has the largest range found in a buffet in Hull.

So much to choose from! Lovely, well filled dishes. All in all great value for money. Great for all ages to enjoy. Lovely environment. Just a bit sweaty lol but rather be warm myself than the food cold! Well done Wings! Can’t wait to return.

I love Wings! Reasonably priced all-you-can-eat buffet, there's so much food to choose from various different countries so most people will be able to find something they can eat, and it's great for trying different types of food at once. There's a great selection of desserts too, it's good for really pigging out! The food is of good quality, not exactly fine dining as it is a buffet but certainly decent.

I came here by myself as I was in Hull on business. The layout was really lovely and selection of food was extensive and tasted really nice. The sushi was lovely!! The ice cream was incredible and the staff were really lovely who were collecting empty places. The staff cooking the skewers and desserts were really really grumpy. Made no attempt to be interested and spent each time I went there talking to each other. Almost as though you were in their way. That's why I can only give this 3, it would have been much higher otherwise. Personally I would be asking the them why they are behaving this way when a large part of there job is customer service also.

I visited wings for tea and the food was very nice and service was very good and staff was friendly and I would definitely go back again

Wide selection of food at lunchtime for only £8.95. Hot and tasty - loved it. From the Chinese to Indian dishes plus pizza, fish fingers and ice cream for the kids. Definitely recommend. Bespoke crepes and ice cream dishes available.

good food and as much as you like just keep going back to the buffet for more of course there is only so much you can eat even popping buttons, it is that nice

Love the variety of this place and that for every plate that is empty on your table they make a donation to the food bank however I've heard from some people that staff have been known to have a go at customers if they leave food! I would visit again but will definitely remember to bring cash with me as the bar is absolute daylight robbery can't believe the minimum card spend at the bar is £10 especially when there is no minimum spend upstairs so I bought a cocktail to get the total up to £10 which despite my annoyance was delicious. Should definitely get rid of the £10 minimum card spend though in this day and age not many people always have cash on them and might not want to spend more on drinks especially when there's only two of them plus I've never known such a high minimum spend I think the most I've ever seen is £5.

What can I say other than wow ! Value for money drinks reasonable and you are not rushed to eat quickly.

My last few visits have been afternoons, and the afternoon foods been pretty good. Decided to try a evening, been a while since we did a night visit.

After visiting here previously we were very dissatisfied with the quality of the food and service this time

Visited Hull on a day out. Been to Wings before and enjoyed it. Saw on web site that its quiet period was between 2pm and 5pm....!!! No wonder...Arrived at 3pm to be told by reception "oh...sorry we are shut". Went to Zizzi over the road...very good. Wings you've lost our business.☹

Came for the Buffet on Monday evening. Staff at the entrance were lovely and helpful- pointing us in the direction of the lift for the buffet seating area.

Foods fine but not as much choice as cosmos in Doncaster. The place is lacking a welcome vibe it's very strict and you feel watched constantly a thank you wouldn't go amiss the managers were very rude snatched receipts and because I had water they was making sure I wasn't drinking my partners refill drink ( on signs stated you will be escorted out if caught) The chairs needing to be reupholstered and tables need varnish it's a shame because it was great when opened just lacking in alot of areas. The food was okay very salty in everything and food was not replenished often enough was only 8pm and was ran out of puddings so had to have what was left. Considering the amount spent wouldn't be visiting again in a hurry.

Been once not bad but I won't go again nothing to do with the food , staff , or service it's just the fact I like english food better it's a great place to try different food though

What to wings last Tuesday night for birthdays celebration 14 of us I am gluten free so I rang them to see if they did gluten free meals and they said 30% was gf. It's well worth the money they is so much to choose from , for gf customers everything as got what it contains the kids g prawns was beautiful chicken tikka to die for chicken melted I your mouth not a lot of puddings too choose from but it was nice to be included on a night out. I would go again.
