Wingbox in Sefton

Arrived in the Crosby Wingbox with friends after a few beers and was greeted with the most miserable staff you've ever met. After spending over £30 on food our group was asked to wait outside in 60 mph winds when the shop was empty. We politely declined the offer and waited for our food inside the shop. Once the food arrived it was banged onto the counter with no please or thankyou 😕 food was ok but the experience could be so much better with a smile and manners. Won't be going back like most of the people who have taken the time to leave a review. Stay away

I called up to check and the fella laughed when i asked do you do meat free boneless chicken, He said sure we can do. when it arrived it turned out to be real chicken what a shame sarcastic idiots....

forgot the drink and tried to call the restaurant but it said it was unavailable so had to do without a drink I paid for

This is a tale of 2 half's. We ordered our usual spread from Wingbox, came late but that can be forgiven on a Rainy Saturday night. When the order did arrive, it was the wrong order. Your probably wondering why I have given this a high rating, let me tell you. We called Wngbox up and the chap who answered the phone couldn't apologize enough. He prepared a new order from scratch and delivered it himself, again he could not apologise enough. Mistakes happen, but it what you do to rectify the mistakes that counts. Excellent customer service.

Shockingly bad service. Waited 1 hour 15 for order & they had forgot the milkshakes. The lady said she’d come back with them but never. I phoned & the guy said she was on her way back but she still never turned up. Then when I was ringing back after they just wouldn’t answer. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND

Food was very nice and the fact it was early wasn't a problem as they let you know it's on the way,I'd definitely order again from here!

Sin embargo, la alternativa es recoger de un lugar que parece alentar a las pandillas de adolescentes en bicicleta, insultar y escupir afuera, muy incómodo por dentro y el personal no se preocupa por el cliente, por lo que normalmente no vale la pena el esfuerzo por una maleta. de buenos chips.

Never got all I asked for ,ask for cheesy chip never got them and I ordered 2 sauces only got 1 and wasn’t very hot .

Ordered food at half 7 turned up at ,the man on the phone said the order went to a different address and would have to re order again, always the same every time we order from them either something is missing or they are late with the delivery ,I wouldn’t recommend delivery service atall!

Everything but the bread on the burger was 5/5. For some reason they used really cheap bread and it was rather dry.

ordered just after 8:30, arrived around quarter to ten. chips were cold, onion rings had gone soggy. burger was bang average. first and last time I’ll be going there. they did offer to bring some more chips round but couldn’t be waiting as my burger would have been stone cold by then.

ordered 2 milkshakes, only one was in the bag. requested no onions in chicken burger that had onions

Food was not good and expensive for what it was, I ordered firecracker prawns, chicken wings, onion rings and a wrap. Got a phone call to say they don't do firecracker prawns. Why is it on the Just Eat menu? I got extra chicken wings instead. My order then arrived without the wrap. I called up and they told me they'd re send it. Finished all the other food before my wrap showed up. Wrap was about 5cms long. Mediocre overpriced food and crappy service.

Dont waste your money! Placed order and restaurant added extra 20 minutes onto food, that hour and a half passed and still no food! Another 20 minutes later food arrived and considering we had just paid £20.00 it wasn't worth it at all!!. Wrap is tiny it was dry and barley warm on arrival, chips cold, onion rings soggy cold mess and the wings we ordered by this point was just about luke warm. Not worth the money or the wait

Disgusted in service order came after waiting about 50 minutes to an hour when came had no dips so rang bk up said they'll try an get them out with nx order absolutely joke still waiting for them an now chicken is stone cold worst service I've Eva received will be sending food bk when they do finally bring dips won't be ordering from here again second time order was wrong !!!!'

Salt and pepper chicken wings were literally just salt and pepper. Food took over an hour to arrive. Ordered two wraps and received two halves of a wrap. Never again

Used to be my favourite place but seems to have gone down hill recently. Ranch dip not what is used to be. Also seem to get something wrong each order whether through just eat or their app... only seems to be right in the shop or calling up. I asked for original buffalo wrap and they sent me buffalo 911 wrap which blew my young boys head off. Maybe they got this mixed up as I did order 911 wings too. Disappointing, but food always lovely delivery quick, just a shame about the errors being made and the ranch! Bring it back!

Fabulous food. It was a real treat. My children couldn't finish it all because there was so much and that is saying something! The chicken wraps were great.

The milkshake i ordered was just milk it was discusting, the wrap i got was the size of a can of coke and cost me £5 which is a joke and the mac and cheese bites were dry and cold Wont be coming back to wing box again!!

I ordered my meal at 14:50 and the restaurant said it would be delivered at 15:30 but then 15 minutes kept getting added on to my wait time so the meal didn't arrive until around 16:15 which is appalling as I only live 5 minutes away.

I ordered 10 nuggets. All the nuggets are attached to each other rather than separated, and therefore the texture in these nuggets are really weird., some of them tasted a bit sour as well which is the only point i found disappointing. Apart from this, the rest of my order are as good as always.

No lettuce on burger or wrap which was asked for on order. Portion sizes were terrible, chicken burger was on what looked like a sliced Warburton's barn and wrap was in a small burger box. Also ordered boneless salt & pepper chicken wings, was just chicken strips with salt & pepper on. Wasn't worth money and wouldn't order from here again.

Ordered at 20:45 and then arrives at 22:30. Unlike normal delivery times which is normally amazing. However, food when arrived was hot and as lovely as always.

Ordered 3 times , and out of that , once slow 2 fast , food excellent twice , except cold on one occasion , on last order chicken on burger was very tough , but food hot .Still order, as I like the food very much .

Food was lovely delivered quickly and still hot when it arrived, ordered some milkshakes they were alright nothing special tasted like they were made with smart price ice cream and not enough of the chocolate bar in but again they were alright for 2 quid but all in all it's quite nice

Long time to arrive well over an hour and not very impressed with the chicken, more impressed with the spring rolls.

Food was auwful quality it looked and tasted like it has been sitting there for days. Rang up and spoke to a man on the phone to give him friendly feedback but his attitude was defensive and rude. Will not be ordering from here again and will definitely not recommend to anyone

We've ordered from here many times before spending quite a lot of money. We ordered the food at 20:05 and were told by e mail that the food would arrive at 21:15, which is a bit beyond their 45-50 mins promise but we understood. When the food hadn't arrived at 21:35, my partner called to be told that the fryers had broken and that it would be another 20 mins. No apologies or discounts were offered. Having waited so long we didn't want to cancel. The delivery driver turned up at 21:55 and told us that the restaurant was 'rammed' and that was why we'd waited 2 hours for food. Love this takeaway but this is bad customer service.

It was a busy Friday night. Food arrived 2 hours after the order was made. 40 mins after the expected delivery. It was hot and was nice to eat though. I would order again just on a less busy night.

The Apple pie tasted like a sausage roll but the rest was seriously tasty, delivered well before estimated time an delivery guy was really pleasant

The chicken wraps we ordered were not the ones that arrived, they sent us the hottest possible ones on the menu. So you couldnt actually taste anything because your mouth is too busy burning. The fries were ok from what I could tell with the last little bit of taste buds I had left. I'm sorry you guys, I was so excited to try your place and I was really disappointed 😞

Took over one hour and thirty minutes to arrive. Chicken was tasty, but luke warm. Ordered fries and these were not delivered. Didn't respond to a message I left on their answering machine. Overall poor.

First time in a while the food has been bad from here. Placed the order at 7.15pm it said 8.05pm then updated to 8.15pm didn't arrive until 8.25pm and was stone cold except for the jalapenos which were fine. Not impressed burger bun fell to pieces and chips had hardly any seasoning on them. Really poor tonight!

We ordered from them on the 9/03/17 and first they added 30 minutes to the wait time which wasn't too bad. Next when it came (half an hour early to be fair - at the time they said to begin with!) they were missing the milkshakes. Just a sorry, ring the restaurant. Obviously as this is probably our tenth order in the past few months (and this exact thing has happened more than once) we aren't worth the custom! When we rang we were understandably irritant since if it isn't the milkshakes it's always the fact that they go to the flats opposite rather than the houses. The girl on the phone was rude and unhelpful, saying that if we continued to speak to them in this manner they wouldn't take our orders again! Now we weren't polite but we certainly weren't that rude especially since we had paid already for these things! After another twenty minutes the milkshakes came, completely melted at this point, and the food was stone cold. They did include two small ice cream tubs for free but after all of this hassle was it really worth it?

Great in a pinch. Consistent quality and quick. Always have great service. Fries are okay. Wraps are decent and filling. The sweet chilli prawns are fantastic.

90 minutes on weekday night is too long. Fries a mixture of undercooked and soggy. No celery with blue cheese dip. Drinks warm. Usually good so disappointed this time.

Forgot the tomato sauce and tomato on my wrap and it was much smaller than expected, if I hadn't ordered a side of fries and wings it probably wouldn't have filled me up. That said all the food was delicious and I'll be back.

Chips were cold, took two hours twenty minutes for delivery, chicken was ok, not enough sauce to even coat chicken wings though. Usually a lot better hopefully just a one off
