Very quiet for a Monday nicely done out but boring I did not stay long drinks very pricey

Ok if you enjoy playing pool. Feels quite basic inside. Just not my style I guess.

Staff are absolutely amazing lovely clean and friendly bar!

Small pub nearby, we tried it during the Euro2024 match, they stopped serving food during the evening!! Drinks were very basic, service was fast, atmosphere was very dull and dark. Cleanliness was questionable!! I know it’s a pub, but it should be cleaner than that for sure. The ladies at the bar were very nice and welcoming, servicing drinks with a smile at all times.

Great friendly local pub a few minutes walk from Kingston Park metro. Sunday lunch is brilliant and amazing value. Bar Staff rellay welcoming pool table and sports on TV. Great drinks selection.

Great friendly staff, and the food is excellent

Disappointing, we really wanted to try their famous Sunday dinner today, my mam asked last week if they needed to book and was told no just turn up but when we turned up today we were told they had sold out by 3pm. Seems to me like they haven't got a good grip on their stock levels. Nevermind I suppose these things happen, we will give them one more chance and update this review if it goes well next time as I'd really like to try one soon.

Had the most amazing homemade Sunday lunch, a packed plate of meat, vegetables, roast and Mash, oh and a lovely yorkshire pudding covered in lovely thick gravy, mmmm was delicious. Highly recommend

Good drinkers pub! Considering I've lived and worked city wide within Newcastle for over ten years it's not an area I'm too familiar with. Along with a couple of the lads, we walked from Bank Foot to here one Wednesday night, in search of beer. It's a big bar and the clientele were seasoned professionals in the social rehydration game without a doubt. We sunk a couple of Artois then it was time to eat elsewhere. Don't be put off by the exterior. It's worth popping in if you're passing by and you'll be welcomed by friendly staff.

Ordered three dinners and waited quite a while even though there was only a family of four eating,and when the meals arrived the food was cold everything cold and very meagre portions of veg came with the dinners in a small bowl,so I informed a member of staff and we waited again to get new ones which this time were hot.At a not cheap price we were very dissappionted

Went there for the first time since the refurbishment, it was really nice and the bar staff were friendly and efficient, cleaning the bar@ every opportunity when not serving (spotless )😊

Alright atmosphere, would recommend as a local pub but not for a one off visit

Often drove past this place saying we would pop in. Glad we did eventually. When we went on a Sunday afternoon, the average clientele was 40+ "dad bods" and women. I liked that they had books dotted around on shelves and there's plenty of seating. It had a welcoming atmosphere and I was served quickly.

Seemed okay used to do a quiz night but hardly any advertising for it now seems to have stopped so stopped going never been since the 5 years I've lived here and heard bad till got re done but speakers sound blown had to ask for music to be turned up from jukebox then noticed speakers in pool side ,loved that they had books, unfortunately has the pot6to be alot more ,coffees snacks and place for people yo catch up or family nights with quizzes maybe even a disco night or 80s etc type thing something for everyone ,could be a nice local been 3 times but stopped going now no reason to go there

Just enjoyed a tuna melt panini with crisps and coleslaw for £3. Excellent value for money, would %100 recommend.
