Greeted at the entrance and shown to a seat Asked by waiter if I wanted drinks and shown menus Instructed how to get carvery asked for condiments When plates taken away asked if ready for deserts Asked if everything was OK Extremely polite service and food was exceptional 👌

came in for turkey and tinsel, food was amazing, staff were so accommodating and friendly especially mark and lee, keith was also exceptional who had organised it for us so thank you very much!!

Great service tonight. On my way to Ireland thought I’d stop at the Wheatsheaf it’s round the corner from Newcastle airport, was seated at the door witch I thought was a nice touch. Beth and Lindsey on the bar went above and beyond perfectly poured pints every time. Will be back if I’m in the area and recommend to anyone

I had an amazing experience at Wheatsheaf Farm! The food was brilliant. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff provided excellent service throughout our meal. We had chicken skewers and 3 ice-cream scoop it was very good and alesha was very good and her service was excellent in fact all the staff were excellent.

Booked breakfast with santa for the 2nd year and it didn't disappoint. From the food to the activities with santa was great. The staff are brilliant and friendly. Only thing that knocked the food from 5 star to 4 star was scrambled egg is had shell in otherwise the rest was delicious

Heather and Mary have been a pleasure to see each morning, I stayed for a week and each morning I was greeted with a smile and a cheery attitude. Lovely ladies that set you up for the day.

When we arrived we were immediately greeted by Chloe will was a ray of happiness, energy and fun! She was professional yet approachable all at the same time and instantly made us feel at ease and welcome! Great start! We were showed to our table , a lil booth next to the bar area and it was cozy and warm and surrounded by some lovely Christmas decorations! I ordered a small carvery and my husband ordered a hallomui fries starter and for his main loaded chicken strips!- The carvery food was fantastic! Especially the carrots and the sprouts! The cauliflower cheese was mmmmm mmm and the yorkies were lovely!! Plenty of selection too! My husband's starter was fantastic not over done but lovely and soft worth a nice sweet chili dip with the fries!- He really enjoyed his loaded chicken strips especially the cheese sauce on top!! I had some ice cream for dessert and the husband had something new and went for the toffee fudge cake! Both delicious!! Throughout our meal a lovely young lady called Danielle always made sure we were ok and the food was ok, had a very very pleasant attitude and a very lovely smile.! The whole entire staff here are amazing but big shout out to Danielle and Chloe.! We will definitely be back!

Carvery turned up but had no meet, I ordered Gammon and Beef but I was given neither. Tried to call restaurant and button wouldn’t work. If I wanted a meet free carvery I would have ordered one!

Took my grandma here for dinner. She said it’s the best dinner she’s had. I would have to agree with her. The staff are really helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend and will be back.

Came today for our family Christmas meal out there was 7 of us and I must say it was absolutely beautiful very friendly staff and helpful thanks to you all we no doubt will be back again.. I was also there for breakfast Thursday with friends and couldn't fault it 😀

Rubbish. Arrived, no one at the door so rang bell for attention. No one arrived after waiting a while more. Rang bell and kept waiting. Still no one in spite of it being empty inside. Left and went somewhere else. Wouldn’t return. Very poor first impression.

Lily was really friendly and attentive. Average roast, nice pub. The only things I would change would be Yorkshires to be crispier, mash was very sticky and gloopey and the beef wasn't the best. Very chewy and flavourless. The rest was lovely.

Lily was great, very welcoming and bubbly. Carvery was ok, nothing outstanding but still nice and good for the price. Beef was chewy/overcooked, would recommend the turkey instead. Roast potatoes were gorgeous but mash was very gloopy. Yorkshires needed to be crispier. Chocolate fudge cake was gorgeous.

Lilly the staff member is so friendly always makes me and the kids feel at home verry friendly kind and allways looks after us . Dhawat the chef allways speaks to me he’s so kind allways smiling and being verry kind like Lilly . I love this place the food is unreal and defo helps when the staff like Lilly make u feel at home

had a meal for belated 70th birthday with family, Lynn greeted us at the door very welcoming showed us to our table , Nickie was server behind counter taking our orders would not go anywhere else, Nickie was very accommodating with options on orders, I got my big slice of lemon cake (love it) as a takeaway free for birthday we have often had meals at wheatsheaf as never had a bad meal! Had a big family meal there for our 50th anniversary, grandsons 21st, sons 49th birthday

Annual family gathering for the festive period was an absolute treat. The staff were very friendly and smiley despite the awful weather outside and the few leaks from the roof! (buckets signposted) Lilly was a breath of fresh air, cracking jokes and making us all feel very cheerful. Thanks again Lilly!

Food was ok, but the notes weren’t looked at as I asked for no mushrooms or tomatoes and was given both. Luckily it’s just because I don’t like them. Tomatoes came in a pot so fine so no spoilers, mushrooms I did have pick off my breakfast. Not sure if you get toast as none was with the breakfast.

Went in today just for cake and coffee service was quick and the slice of cake was huge definitely recommend the Marx attack cake and lily was so friendly and polite.

Very well priced for food! My daughter and I absolutely love it here as all the staff are so friendly and welcoming however Lily was outstanding the last time we came. She was playing peek-a-boo with my daughter whilst we waited for our food, she was just so lovely! Very smiley and just what you want when you’re out for food, she kept popping over to check everything was alright and giving my little one loads of attention which she loved! Couldn’t recommend this place enough!x
