Despite what stupid people troll, the venue is perfectly set up to cope with dog visits, it’s called being inclusive! Owner met a dog, gave it a treat then washed his hands. Keyboard warriors post nonsense. We had the most delicious smoothie and were impressed with all the craft pts available too

Appalling hygiene - staff handling dogs then handling food. Should be closed down. Also now have a hanging menu too high to read the small print, and with lights shining in it. No other menu available. Gave staff £10 note but only received change for £5.

A great find in the centre of Abingdon, the shakes were a generous size and so many different options. Also cater to different dietary needs.

My daughter and I visited this delicious milkshake cafe before a trip to the Abingdon Library. Both the Oreo and Chocolate Milkshakes were thick, creamy and divine. She’s already asking when we can return!

Milk shakes are lovely - thick and creamy with so many flavours and sizes to choose from. Good coffee as well. We arrived as a group of 8 (5 being children) and it was quite full, but staff were really helpful and rearranged tables for us. Service was great, and didn't mind one (fussy!) child eating their own food. Lovely decor - kind of retro/shabby chic. There are crafts etc on sale - lovely, but imo a bit pricey,

I have been there twice. The first time I went to the Willows Shake Shop, I was served by a male and the milkshakes were gorgeous. I, therefore, returned a second time I went there they were made by a female and were just average. I haven't been back since.

First visit here but I'm not into shakes so perhaps missed the best they offer. Friendly service. The bacon baguette was very nice with the sausage roll being only average. Pot of Earl Grey was very pleasant. Very good value. Total bill was only £7.40.

I’ve always enjoyed the milkshakes and never had an issue with staff. Fast forward to Summer 2021 in new building. I walked up to the counter and the young woman serving literally walked away. The manager spoke to her, clearly gesturing to us and asking her to serve us. She had a miserable look on her face and was clearing refusing to serve me. A young man was sent over to serve us, and we waited at the counter for our drinks. The first woman brought it over, not a word or smile, NOTHING!!! Never felt so unwelcome in my life! Really angry that someone supposedly in paid employment in hospitality would behave so rudely and unprofessionally-will never go there again.

This place is now in new premises, much more spacious, set up like a 50s milk bar, comfy seats and well spaced tables. Lovely thick milk shake, good coffee and chocolate brownie. Friendly staff.

If you love shakes this is a must! Staff are amazing and accommodating This is a little cafe style place that does the best shakes in Oxfordshire! Take away or drink in. They also serve hot drinks and some food as well. It is lovely and cosy and the place I visit everytime I am in Abingdon.

Service with a smile. My daughter, her friend and I popped in to have a milkshake and it was amazing! Great selection to choose from. So delicious that it didn't last long at all. The decor is chabby chic. Very lovely and relaxed atmosphere. My daughter also had a tub of ice-cream which was soooo much better then other shake shops I've been to. Not so much air whipped into the ice-cream. Very creamy and thick. If you want to you can buy a gift or even treat yourself as they sell crafts from talented artists. Thank you to Mike, Pete and staff for making us feel welcome.

Willows is tiny; a little front room with a handful of tables and chairs, and an even smaller back room where the orders are taken and created and where there are a few knick-knacks and sweets to purchase. Four of us stopped in on our way through Abingdon late morning to order take-away milkshakes ad coffee. Prices seem to be the same whether you have take-in or take-out.There was o where to stand to wait for our drinks but fortunately there was an empty table so we sat down eventually. And waited. And waited and waited. It took over 20 minutes for our milkshakes and coffee to arrive! There seemed to be a backlog of orders all of which took a long time to fulfil for some reason. And then when it got to creating our milkshakes they discovered they were out of maltesers so we had to quickly choose an alternative flavour. The drinks came soon after that, but our total wait was too long for a quick take-out milkshake. I don't know if this is normal?Hoever, I have to say the milkshakes were great and much enjoyed. The coffee was good too although there was no milk in it which had been requested, but by the time I discovered this it was too late to go back as we were well on our way. I should have checked before we left.If you are not in a hurry, and like whimsical surroundings and great milkshakes, this is a great little place.

We had milkshakes panini and cakes and they were all so delicious. The best milkshakes we have ever had. It was so reasonable priced and it's just the cutest little shop with little gifts and an amazing selection of sweets too. Would highly recommend

Really very good milkshakes at reasonable prices for generous servings. The only tricky thing is negotiating the menu and trying to decide which of the tempting flavours to try. Yes, it's a small cafe but it really doesn't matter; I would happily squeeze in to a cupboard to get my hands on these shakes.

Have been here a few times now and the milkshakes are always delicious. The cafe is quite tiny but it's a nice cosy space and the staff are friendly. Extra bonus points for dairy-free milk and ice cream being available!

I've been here a number of times and every time it has been fantastic - the milkshakes are incredible, the staff are really friendly, and there is a great range of crafts to buy too, which make fantastic gifts. It is also very reasonably priced, and they do a good range of other drinks and snacks too, although I have only tried a smoothie so far which was very nice. I'd definitely recommend, it's one of my favourite places in Abingdon to get a drink.

Pop in here a lot with friends and it is the loveliest place! The decor is very rustic and welcoming and the staff so friendly. The milkshakes are out of this world. They have a very wide selection and at a very reasonable price! After trying the custard cream special today I can't wait for my next visit!

This tiny cafe has a full range of coffees, smoothies and other drinks, sandwiches, paninis, wraps, cakes etc. Also an amazing range of shakes. All delicious and great value. Lovely people, nice atmosphere, “shabby chic” handicrafts for sale. Definitely worth a visit.

Carpenters have now sadly closed I think due to retirement but the new tenants Blake’s Kitchen are well worth a visit and serve decent food

We called in here as I’d never been and thought we’d try it out. We ordered two cheese scones with butter and two coffees and sat in the garden. Our very small scones arrived before the coffees, We thought as we buttered our not very cheesy cheese scones that the butter had a strange texture, the coffees were very small and not that hot. As we sat chattering I noticed on the butter wrapper, ‘use by 6/6/23’ The date of our visit being Monday 19th June!! My friend caught the attention of the waitress and told her we’d just eaten two weeks out of date butter, she just said ‘Oh sorry, I’ll tell the kitchen’ We sat for another 15 minutes half expecting maybe a further apology from the kitchen but nobody came near us, so we left having spent £12.30 on two small un-cheesy scones, stale butter and two small warm coffees. Obviously there won’t be a return visit.
