We called in here for coffee and cake on the way home from a garden centre where we gave up waiting in the cafe. This cafe was delightful. Friendly welcome, very clean toilet, good selection of homemade cakes. There was a painting class in progress so we sat in the shop with lots of lovely things to look at. We usually avoid cafetière coffee because of the sludge but we were very pleased with this coffee - lovely and clear and excellent flavour and much cheaper than espresso machine coffee usually is. It was a horrid wet and windy day but Willow really cheered me up. We will come again.

I went to buy a birthday present in the gift shop. Found a beautiful notebook and unusual card. I had no time to go to the cafe on this occassion but had visited the cafe the week before with a friend. We had a cafetiere of coffee and scones. The coffee was really good and the scones fresh and tasty

Delicioso. Sin duda volveremos.

I'm a keen regular to the willow barn as I enjoy all types of painting. They have a great range of ceramics to choose from, and excellent equipment and materials to support any level of artist or age group. The set up is great, food and drink to your table should you need it, and a nice atmosphere. Most staff members are friendly and informative however this isn't as strongly consistent throughout the whole team. Although the £4.50 studio fee seems cheap when it's just yourself you have to pay for, I invited my family of 9 for my birthday and £4.50 per person when your the family soon adds up, especially on top of the ceramics cost. Perhaps a family package could be offered, to support people on different budgets. Overall, I love the place and I will certainly be back to add to my collection

Looking to make keep-sake Xmas presents and following an invitation from friends, we visited here on Sunday.First impressions were that there was ample parking and very friendly staff. The lady talked us through, after getting us a cafetière of coffee, how it worked and showed us a book with some ideas. We immediately set about choosing our ceramics to decorate, we chose a clock face, pizza plate, normal plate and tea pot coaster. After referring to pinterest we set about manipulating our twins feet to make Xmas present foot and hand printed ceramic wear. The ladies were extremely helpful and ready to undo any of our mistakes. It is not the cheapest layout but it is definitely worth it when considering the time you are given to help you make your perfect gifts. All in all including coffee ours came to £76 I think which I felt was more than fair. It was a lovely afternoon and I am looking forward to revisiting when the twins are older to let them be more involved.

The Willow Gallery Cafe was the only place serving food after 2.30pm in the area, the food was fabulous and we could sit in the sun. There were also a few little shops selling handmade and 'real material' crafts (none of the mass-produced tat you get in National Trust places!) all reasonably priced, and you can paint your own ceramics there. Lovely little collection of attractions in one small place, well worth a visit.

Warm welcoming, friendly manner service of staff Lovely mixtured atmosphere British n Japanese. All the dishes are delicious, we all enjoyed them. Deep-fried authentic Japanese disjes are mainly available. We're hopimg to go back for Sushi night which needs to sign up in advance and happens occasionally. Thank you so much, I had an amazing experience for my family birthday celebration. 😄

Sadly we had a family birthday on Thursday 22nd May. Booked in for 5.30, drinks ordered within minutes of arrival. Food ordered about 5.45, food delivered 6.55 minus one meal which the young waitress forgot to add. Three minutes later the said meal was delivered to the table, so obviously not fresh and just microwaved. Fish and chips tasted bland, pizzas were awful and the sausage and red onion pie had no red onion. The potatoe salad was no more than just a mush. On reflection I should have said something but I didn’t want to embarrass my family. The total cost came to just over £190 and again on reflection I should have questioned that bearing in mind the very poor quality of food. I know people have to learn however there appeared to be little or no supervision. I have to say that this has made me feel like I won’t be returning after this really bad experience 😢😢😢

Read all good reviews online so tried here whilst visiting the local area. My husbands started came out practically cold, my starter was tasteless . My husband has vinderloo main which he said was nice. I had tikka masala main and it was pretty tasteless and basic too. The service we can’t fault, except they were almost too fast. We had only been in there 5 minutes max and we had a waiter at the table asking if we were ready to order; before our drinks had arrived. Staff were all friendly and smiley. The place in general clean and tidy, but a strong smell of toilet as soon as you walk in the door isn’t too pleasant.

I ordered for 20 people for my husband's 60th and everything was fantastic. Everyone enjoyed their meal and the food was fresh and delicious. Thank you so much.
