Just had a delivery of supposedly LARGE fish n chips, £17.90 for 2 lots, never seen large, more batter than fish n I would say the fish was frozen not fresh, never again will we order from here 😡

We found this chippy by chance one evening. We live around a 10- 15 mins drive away and thought to pop in for a chippy tea. We put our order through, paid and patiently waited outside whilst order was cooking. Although do all sorts of food from burgers, kebabs, fried chicken etc, our order mainly was fish and chips and battered sausages etc. I did pop in when the member of staff was starting to wrap up to make sure git salt and vinegar on everything. The chips were absolutely delicious! Best chips I've had. I have ordered from here via just eat one lunch time in school holidays as was poorly and I didnt enjoy that experience. Food was late arriving, chips were cold and found it more expensive. I wouldn't order fir delivery again. We are not local but even we can get the food home still hot. We would visit again for a chippy as chips were lovely

Poor service, asked if the donner kebab came with chips and the lady serving me said yes, but the kebab came with no chips? Very poor portion size even for a large and extremely overpriced for where it is located plus the portion size and the flavour all together. Very unimpressed, poorest service i've had in a while.

Superb fish cakes and chips the staff are friendly and all of the meal from this fish and chip shop have all been lovely I would highly recommend this fish and chip shop to anyone wanting to have some really delicious fish and chips

Food was over half hour late was cold when turned up will not be ordering from here again!

We spent £30.00 not worth it at all everything burnt from burger bun to the garlic bread , we rang the takeaway to complain and get them to collect thw food and refund us and she gave us abuse . Avoid at all cost Feel free to email me davo515@hotmail.com

Lovely lady serving, clean and tidy. The chips were huge, crispy and plentiful. Mushy peas were the best around here, normal green like they were made at home like I had as a kid soaked overnight. Excellent, will definitely go back.

My husband collected fish and chips from this outlet and paid with a £20 note- the only one in his wallet. The lady who served him insisted he had given him a £10. She as adamant so he left and I rang and complained. Eventually- after several conversations they agreed to refund the £10. When he went to collect it the same lady again argued that he had given her a £10 note and very reluctantly gave him the money. We will not be going back!

Apparently lovely fish and chips but put off by the person licking her thumbs (twice) to open the plastic bag. Very unhygienic and a brilliant way to pass on the virus.

Just orderd for the first time and for me the kebab meat is to die for its quite spicy which I love spicy food my partner got sausage chips spam fritter and curry sauce and he said he really enjoyed it I will be ordering again and came faster than time we were given

Absolutely VILE food was late, cold, greasy full of bones and sent rissoles instead of fishcakes. When I rung up to complain I was shouted at and swore at by 2 members of staff

i spent 9 pound for meat feast special pizza with no meat on it. the worst i ever had, frozen from morrisons is better than that shi* and 3 times cheaper. Delivery half hour late.

Hot sexy young lad delivered my order he was really punctual by 30mintues he was really polite and services was with a smile Food delivery on time and was very warm and lovely ,great service I would full recommend Wilkinson's chip shop too everyone.

I've tried the takeaway a couple of times now to give them the benefit of the doubt however on all occasions they've been easy, sicky and a strange taste. The staff are extremely rude too.

We've never had a bad experience with our fish and chips from here which is something that I've never been able to say about any other places we've used in the past. We are so lucky to have a first class chip shop just around the corner.

Called on the way home from work for a chippy tea.. Never again! The chips are dripping in grease.. All the food is greasy and oily and the quality of food seems very cheap, the takeaway itself is not very clean! Drive a couple of minutes up the hill to king street fishes much better!

I ordered last night and the estimated time for delivery were 45mins but I was still waiting 1.5 hours later. Sometimes it's busy I get it but the food was horrible, chips greasy as they come and the chicken was not anything like fried chucked should be, honestly discussting. Pizza were the best thing but after 3 bites I binned the lot.

Chips were nice if a little too greasy and the gravy was nice. Cheap beans. The batter on the fish was really hard and we had to take it off to enjoy the fish. Delivery driver was lovely. Annoying to have to order at least £10 of food then be charged another £2 for delivery and 50p because I paid on card.

Food was horrid, fish tasted like it had been dipped in a bucket of oil before it was served, chips were spongy and grease from chips ruined them as well. Asked for salt and vinegar and didn't even taste it

Both the fish and the chips are well cooked. We've also been impressed by the pizzas which have been better than other takeaways in the area. The staff seem friendly, and delivery has been on time or better. Has easily become our first choice takeaway for delivery to high green.

Very nice! I've only had fish and chips from here, but I've been back any times. The people are friendly and the food is a decent price with an excellent range to choose from. The portion size is excellent, the size of the fish is huge and you always get more than enough chips.
