I do like it , been going in for years but could be better. Rather expensive, tea and coffee never hot enough . On the plus side its always clean .

Went in for breakfast this morning, one of the worst breakfast I've had, tea was cold, sausage was OK bacon ok beans cold , tomatoes well sliced tomatoes 4 thinly sliced pieces wast expecting better, toast hardly any butter on 🫤 will not go there again. Staff stood about talking.

been going to this place for years and always had a plain cheese toastie , i went yesterday to ask for one and she told me they don't do just cheese only cheese and tom or cheese and onion . errmmm eh been having them for years cocker and it says on board toasties made fresh , so you can make one and put onion or tomato on top of the cheese but you can't not put them on and just have cheese? seems weird and maybe just couldn't be bothered , went to urban deli and they did a beaut one.

Called in for a coffee whilst out shopping. Upon entering, I asked if they did milkshakes, one of the staff didn't look up and mumbled to another member of staff, so I said again, do you do milkshakes to which she replied, no. I therefore ordered cappuccinos, they were more like latte's, very milky and not hot. No atmosphere, staff looked like they didn't want to be there and miserable. Disappointing visit, definitely will not return.

Had a warm roast beef baguette was dry the salad was just thrown on the plate chips awful so dissapointed 😞

Me and my wife called in Sunday morning to be told after 11.30 no hot food is served, there was a sign up saying closed, the young lady on the outer cafe wasn't even aware. this place doesn't close till 4pm,I actually saw the cook walking at around 12 ,other people have also mentioned this to me the same day...lot of custom missed,. The food is lovely when available.

Very expensive for what you get. nearly 28 quid for fish and chips with bread and tea. But they were easily the worst I have had in Barnsley, even spoons are way better! Just frozen oven chips and one of those cheap breaded frozen fish portions you get from Aldi in four packs

Really nice place for food they have a good range from sandwiches both hot and cold to cooked food. Nice coffee too. Their staff are very helpful too.

7 piece breakfast was 4 slices of toast beans sausage tomatoes absolutely a rip off. It's a cafe in the middle of a shopping centre so noisy. Everything was dry even the £3 cake in a packet. Over priced below average food 1 server so she was stressed and forgot our full order. I won't go again can't recommend.

Customer service depends on who you are I guess. Women working behind till was lovely to all customers before myself and practically threw the tray at me and walked off after I'd paid. Sausage and chips came with brown water, you couldn't call it gravy it ruined the meal. Jacket potato was ok, but the sausage and chips was left. It'll be hit and miss when ya go so just a heads up.

Usually nice but don't risk the fresh baked scones they were hard and stale

Fitted our needs today, ham salad, top sandwich bread quite dry, didn't mention as needed to be at another appt & not wanting to be late. Husband enjoyed his cheese toasties. Fast service 😊

Decent food at a decent price. Not cheap but not too expensive either. Friendly and helpful staff with a smile on their faces. A good place to grab a cuppa or a quick bite to eat when in Tarn.

has really gone downhill poor service as short of staff only half a dozen cutomers in and the could not cope 1 person in front at the till took 15 minutes to get served then another 20 minutes for food to come .ordered a beef baguette with chips when it eventually came the thinest slice of beef i have ever seen. could only taste the baguette the biggest waste of money for just short of seven pounds. needless to say be a long time before i go again if at all. a shame a sit used to be a cracking little cafe used to go regularly.

Really friendly staff nothings too much trouble. Bit dearer than the Market cafe's but other than that no grumbles with the quality of food

The Bluebell is a very nice place to go but the food and service leaves quite a lot to be desired

Went and had a coffee with a friend was told coffee machine was closed to go to the Moda area outside then when i tried to go to the toilet was told it was closed appauling service the woman was awful terrible attitude problem.

Friendly staff.. nice place to either sit in or 'out' in the Alhambra centre and watch the world go by. The coffee is nice too!

They leave you alone & don't take your tray away while Ur still sitting there. Lovely food anorl! Xx

Nice food, friendly staff. Slightly more expensive than a back street cafe, due to the location inside a shopping centre, but the extra shows in the quality of the food. Good access for wheelchairs.

Incredibly slow service. 7 minutes to get served with only 3 people in the queue. Why have 1 person serving and doing drinks? Had a bacon sandwich with tasted of nothing. The bacon was under cooked and the bread which was meant to be toasted had barely even seen a toaster and was definitely not griddled like the photos suggest. My son asked for 2 sausages and beans only came with one meaning it cost almost £3 for a tiny meal. By this point I'd lost all effort and could not bring myself to complain So all in just over £10 for 1 drink, 1 sausage a tiny portion of beans and a tasteless badly prepared bacon sandwich Avoid its awful

Lisa who served me was quick and friendly despite the stress of long queues, with her being the only one making drinks.

Only cafe in Alhambra centre and they won't accept cash, so much for helping the elderly, won't be going again!

Wednesday mid morning visit. One person making the drinks and the other taking the payment. A long queue waiting to be served and it was pretty busy. Put us off ordering food as we thought we would be waiting a long time.

I’m carb free so often struggle to find variety. I asked for tuna salad (not on the menu) with extra salad. Didn’t bat an eye. Order came quickly and good value for money. Staff friendly and clearly enjoy working together, lots of positive attitude and pleasant banter. A nice lunch on a random day in town.

decent coffee, nice cakes and buns but we were waiting a while for our cheese and ham toastie when it finally arrived it was only just warm as though it was left waiting for someone to bring it out. The person that served me put my change on the tray rather then in my hand, I put the note in their hand so I would expect my change to be given to me rather then just thrown on the tray, this really annoyed me .

I ordered a goats cheese & caramelised onion panini which was nice. The chips tasted awful - like deep fried & left. The service though was brilliant, friendly & helpful staff! Pricey for what you get.

Absolutely disgusting service received today. Card machine not working then waited 45 minutes before asking for money back as no food arrived. No one said there was a long wait for food when ordering. Then an employees family member came in and got served within 10 minutes. When getting our money back we could hear lots of shouting coming from the kitchen saying there were lots of food on hot plate needed taking out but nobody was bringing it out. It was disgusting lots of angry customers, wasted food and rubbish cusome service.

Can’t believe today took Marshall to town — we are currently potty training and we was in shop next to the cafe in Alhambra...he says to me need a wee ... I said can you hold it and he says no...so I rush to cafe and says can my little boy use the toilet he’s potty training...no it’s customer only so I rushed out saying that fine then I’ll make him do his wee in public...so I covers him up and get potty out...the security guard comes over to me and goes you alright the toilets there and said they weren’t let me use them for him...he couldn’t believe it. They would like a boy to wet himself going to the toilet than just having a heart so I had to stop in public and let him go to toilet and then carry the potty all way through lifts to upstairs because they wouldn’t let him use the bathroom disgraceful.

Tried for breakfast on Sunday 27th May and was not disappointed. I had a choose 8 item breakfast for £4.95 and selected Bacon, scrambled eggs, toast, beans, tomatoes, and 2 sausages. The food was cooked perfectly arrived in good time and most importantly for me was hot. Service was with a smile and the staff were warm and friendly so will certainly visit again next time the opportunity arises.

Very happy with the level of service. Food nice too. Average price and value for money. Both indoor and atrium seating.

Very friendly staff, good food, and good coffee. Only criticism is the slightly higher than average price and that the filter coffee is only available at the outdoor kiosk and is made of half added hot water and half filter coffee. But the staff are lovely none the less. ❤️

Nice setting but slightly overpriced, the food was nice but very small portions and cold. Hot chocolate was nice but spilt everywhere before I drank any (due too being too full).

Had a little difficulty finding somewhere for lunch, but eventually found this place. Place clean and staff obliging two of us had scampi and chips another friend had omelette on the board it didn't show fillings maybe something that would be useful so I had to return to my friend to ask what she wanted. Meal was ok the meal came with a side salad we did get tarter sauce. But like a lot of places these packets are often difficult to open it would be helpful if opening device could be available. The meal tasty but a little dry didn't see alternative to salad such as peas. On the whole ok.

Estas personas simplemente no tienen idea y no con en absoluto. Pedí un café de filtro, y después ir a otro contador para llegar, me dieron una media taza de agua caliente, y la mitad de una taza de café de filtro. Esto significaba que tenía una taza de café diluir. . . (filtro de café ya está filtrada por el agua, así que es una cuestión de vertido en la taza). En cuanto a atención al cliente, bien supongo. Sin duda, educado y amable y servicial, no con todo el café.

Its 15:40 and we decided that as its boiling hot to get some ice cream. To be told we are closing.... despit opening hours being advirtised till 4pm. We were taking away aswell. When i tried to explain this the rude girl at tge counter just repeated louder "but we are closing" and then just stared at me. We left will not return. Absolutley disgusted.

Our first visit was February, my friend Andrea and myself had an afternoon in Barnsley we had lunck in Masserellas which was lovely,we had jacket potatoes, i had cheese & coleslaw Andrea had Tuna lovely side salad, coffe and a tea, we was stuffed, we ordered cake but had to take it home was too full, would recommend to anybody service was good, smiling faces all round

Over prices crap. £3.95 for a cheese toasties that was 1 slice of bread. When I questioned this they wanted £2.50 for another slice. That's £6.45 for a cheese toastie. Joke. Never again

Mientras compras en Barnsley Alhambra llamamos en Massarellas para una taza de café y un sándwich de tocino. Me sorprendió gratamente la calidad de los productos ya había oído que no era muy bueno. Me alegro decidimos entrar y hacer mi propia opinión.

Where do you start…went for late very lunch, the counter staff was not polite at all - no manners........the table and cutlery wasn't clean, even had to ask for servettes and to finish it all off our food was late and no explanation why......the place was not even busy !!

Popped in for lunch with my three year old, the girl behind counter was pleasant as usual good selection of light lunch and drinks.. However I struggled to find clean cutlery there was dried food on the folks and the trays they are kept in were full of bits also the rim of my coffee cup was dirty, when I asked for it changing she apologised but instead of giving me a fresh drink she went on to pour my coffee into another cup put me off going in again as although it's reasonably priced it's far from the best value for money in Barnsley

Italiano - temáticas, pero con una gama muy genérico de comida una bebida, sándwich de pollo cajún para mí, sandwich de mayonesa de huevo para mi esposa. Está claro que una gran cantidad de clientes satisfechos, pocos escaños vacíos. También muchos visitantes de más edad, que normalmente te dice comida está razonablemente - precio razonable. El personal eficiente y amable. No está nada mal.
