The time of delivery kept changing. Most confusing. Food from Wildwood very nice.

Really nice, restaurant quality at home is way better than Pizza delivery chain for sure. And cheaper! Gluten free is very good too I have to say.

The restaurant is a lovely place especially the service I got from a young girl who clearly deserves a raise. As I had noticed she was having to do everything from take away orders to making drinks absolutely lovely young woman. I had the new tartiflette pizza and it tasted great, great value for money. The reason I only gave it 3 stars was the fact she had to do everything whilst the manager I believe his name is Dan was not doing anything to help and I could tell he was having a go at her even though she was working her ass of. Thank you for the lovely service.

As always we had a great lunch time meal. The staff are extremely friendly, professional and helpful and the food is always excellent.

Was given a delivery time of 17,30-17.50. Food arrived at 18.15 and was stone cold, all heat lost. Called restaurant to complain who stated food had been collected nearly an hour beforehand. That it was a Just Eat delivery issue and contact them.

I had a lovely time celebrating the festive season here! The service was spot on—warm greetings and prompt bill delivery made for a great experience. I enjoyed my festive specials, though I wish the steak had been cooked a bit rarer to hit that 5-star mark. The atmosphere was just right, making it feel extra special. Overall, a solid place for a meal, and I'll definitely be back!

Great restaurant with lovely food! The staff went above and beyond, offering candles and a free dessert/drink to my partner who was celebrating his birthday. We've become regular visitors at this point!

Really not worth the money, very substandard!

Nice atmosphere, very friendly service. You know when you say, can you give us 2 mins to decide on puddings and then waiters/waitresses take 15 mins, I’ve never liked that. 2 mins is 2 mins. Lots of people are the same but I hope that changes in the future. Good price for the kids meals, pizzas seem good value. I had a chicken burger and for £15 it was overpriced. Chickens and some salad in the burger and nice fries on the side. That’s it. No side salad or onion rings or something to make it stand out and for £15 I think it’s poor value. Also I don’t like service charges added. It’s a cheap way of asking for more money.

Me and my husband moved here from Italy 4 years ago. A thing that we really miss is the Italian pizza. We have ordered pizza from different places but wildwood does the BEST pizza dough ever! We felt like home :) our favourite is the buffalo and prosciutto crudo, simple but delicious. The focaccia and the rosmary bread is also my husband favourite thing. Highly recommend!!!

Good location and ample parking nearby. Accessible throughout. Food was very good and service was excellent. Good drinks menu and a nice range of food choices. Very easy to reccomend.

Lovely food, really laid back atmosphere

Unable to comment on the atmosphere as we had a takeaway. It was excellent from ordering to eating. The delivery was fast and the food was great.

We and my partner visit often, theirs is definatly something for everyone on the menu! The staff have always been so welcoming to us! Which is hard to find being you young. I cannot recommend this the two ladies that are in almost every time we go are Anna and jose, and have always been so attentive and always have a smile on their face! I would always recommend the eaten mess for dessert!:)

I'm always impressed by this place, food always very good, service is brilliant, staff are lovely and the pink lemonade is delicious. HOWEVER, a disaster has happened since our last visit... they've taken the gnocchi off the menu which was my favourite dish!!! Please put it back 😭😭 (The chicken and mushroom penne I had instead was pretty good though, but some of the herb twigs in it were rather large.)

Lunched here today. Absolutely delicious food! Dishes were cooked with fresh ingredients. I ordered Seafood Linguine and my friend Loretta ordered Sea Bass. We both shared a side dish of Zucchini Fries. Friendly staff, calm and relaxing atmosphere in the restaurant. One of our most enjoyable eating out experiences.

Went to wildwood early afternoon and it wasn't very busy a few tables in but the atmosphere was nice as soon as you walked in. The service was lovely and quick. And then the food, it was amazing we ordered off the lunchtime menu and both had the lasagne it was cooked beautifully. And the price was exceptional. I would recommend anyone to try it.

How is it possible to have fantastic food, great and friendly service and a lovely facility but only 1 star ? Easy. I would give less if I could. How dare a facility AUTOMATICALLY add a service charge / tip? Your company policy of presumption is disgusting. I always tip 20% in cash to the server directly. But your AUTOMATIC presumption is totally wrong. This is clearly a senior management policy - and not the hard worker at the shop front. And don’t bother if your reply is going to be “well you can ask to have it removed” no one with any social responsibility will ask for this. So - great food, great service, clean facility. But I won’t go back, ever and won’t recommend your company - management presumption of an automatic service charge, really ? Can you seriously imagine any company outside the metropolitan elite London inner circle doing this ? Of course not but you have managed it at a local small town restaurant- terrible business policy. Edit Clearly you have chosen to miss read my review !! At NO stage did I say I was unhappy with your service - the service, the food, the facilities the servers - all first rate and all fantastic - so stop twisting my words and review. I was very clear that your companies automatic presumption of an automatic 10% service charge was unacceptable. Let me be very clear what the problem is. I tip 20% cash directly to the server. The presumption of service is DISGUSTING. Will I ever go back - no! Your management need to get a grip of both policies and your reply to my review. Pity as was food is great - the servers friendly and a great clean facility. A 5 star facility receiving a 1 star review. Management are to blame !!!

Amazing food, fresh and filling

I had dinner and lunch several times and was always satisfied with the dishes, the friendliness, kindness and hospitality received. Among the favorite dishes are the Burrata, Fried courgettes, Spaghetti carbonara with chorizo, Pizza buffalo and ham and the Calabrian pizza with its spicy touch... All delicious🤤 Thanks to all the staff in the kitchen, Anna, Dan, Charlotte, Sophie, Chloe, Josie, Kelly and Ilijana. Congratulations and thanks. I recommend visiting it.

Good menu with interesting food options. Helpful staff. The atmosphere was a little subdued but we were early and the place wasn't busy.

me and my partner had the £10 menu deal in which we eat had a large pizza a side of fries each and a soft drink each. food was great and for pudding we had the sticky toffee pudding which was amazing! staff were super friendly and attentive, would definitely recommend

Pizza was a little cold on delivery, taste was good though

First thing you will be greeted with upon arrival is a pair of extremely heavy doors, so heavy i struggled to open them. I think my wife got the ick, she left me later that evening, 12 happy years of marriage down the drain and two young children caught up in the middle of a custody battle, all because of a pair of doors. Won’t be taking any new partners here… Other than that food and service were good as were the prices!

Amazing service by Rhea every time we go to Wildwood. My son really enjoys their pizza and he eats it every weekend. Love the atmosphere but most importantly wonderful staffs who are very friendly and welcoming. Rhea is always lovely and it’s nice to see her every time we go there.

Does seem to have gone down hill of late, the seafood pasta doesn't have the I ingredients advertised, and clearly what's in there is not fresh. Quite a disappointing effort on that particular dish. And an extremely limited offering on beers, especially the draft. But the real kicker is the "voluntary service charge that's automatically added to your bill. We hit the Tarro Lounge the next day for lunch, better menu, better food, better offering........ you get the picture. No wonder we were only one of three tables on the day (Sunday lunch)

Saturday night large family gathering for a birthday. Arrived at 6:30 pm, asked someone at 6:45 if we could get a drink and was told that there was a girl assigned to our party. she was going through the orders that we had sent in the week before. I asked her to assist us in getting a drink and she said that she was nearly finished sorting orders out. five minutes later she was sitting down going through a list of orders. I went and spoke to her and said look we have deen here twenty minutes and you still have not asked us if we want a drink. she said i am just finishing the food orders which i replied, could you please just get us a drink first. so she came over and took an order for our drinks. which took her 3 minutes. Why was this customer service so poor. I had philly steak but asked for non dairy cheese. Over £16 for something that was so salty and made me sit on the toilet for fifty minutes when i got home. So over priced and pretencious this place, will never go near it again

Super angry and disappointed. Spent over £50 on a delivery from here tonight and we haven’t been able to eat any of it. Tonight was supposed to be a treat as my dad has cancer surgery tomorrow so spent more than I usually would and it was awful. Pizza was stone cold, rosemary bread was cold and hard and burgers didn’t have any of the things on them as advertised. Obviously can’t heat chicken again so £50 down, night ruined and restaurant said they wouldn’t do anything as it was the delivery peop

I ordered a magherita pizza, garlic bread, steak sandwich, calamari, olives. All of the food came stone cold, the calamari was very rubbery, also I didn’t receive the pizza or garlic bread, instead I got given a mushroom and olive pizza, which isn’t even on the menu, and also another pizza, with veg, ham. I called the restaurant to tell them all of this, they said they can’t do anything, go through just eat. The delivery was really long as well, it said 2130 arrival it arrived at 2215. I have be

Can't fault Wildwood Hinckley at all, we hired out half the restaurant for our wedding reception back in October last year and the food and service was nothing but fantastic. Atmosphere is so tranquil.

The food was very average, service was OK but the prices for what you get are of the planet ridiculous, and then they have the cheek to add 10% service charge to the bill which you have to ask them to remove. Don't be surprised when this chain go bust. Their offering just isn't up to it.

Sweet potato fries were cold, pizza was cold and way too spicy. But overall was great

Went for a works Christmas meal. It was lovely and peaceful. Was seated in a booth, which was good to hear each other. The service was quick, and the food was fresh. The portions were greatly sized. The waitress and staff were quiet quick and all the food was out in one go. Loved the tiramisu was light and airy, and the creamy texture made it so that we all wanted seconds. Couldn't fault the food.

We all had different main meals and deserts.Nobody complained about any food. Service was fairly quick although there weren't many customers in there. No complaints about food or service. But I don't like the 10% service charge that automatically gets added to your bill.I would sooner it be voluntary and depending on how good the service has been is how big the tip would be.

The food was delicious - we all loved it. Even my fussy 9 year old enjoyed his burger! I had the chicken calzone, which was lovely, and just enough, too. My husband had the steak sandwich, and his only complaint was that it wasn't big enough 🤣😂

Overall good. No complaints. Wasn’t wowed by the menu choice. They only serve pasta, pizza and grill but the options for each I felt was limited

First time trying this place out. Food probably would’ve been acceptable had it not been stone cold and half the pizza hadn’t been completely destroyed along with a mediocre lasagna that wasn’t packed properly, thrown in the box, which resulted ending up on a floor…also stone cold and had to be thrown away. Highly disappointed. Don’t offer delivery if you’re going to botch it. Won’t be returning to try in person now after this experience.

The best place in Hinckley for a cocktail. The food was good and matched by the service.

I've had this meal every time I have ordered and this one tasted awful I'm not One for complaining but wasted money

Me and my wife moved down from Bradford 5 months ago..whilst been down here we have been on a few date nights... been together 9 years..so we've been to a good few places to eat over the years...the food in this place was absolutely delicious...when I ordered our 3 starters..they came to the table in perfect time..didn't have to wait too long... all very well presented..then our main dish came.. that didn't disappoint either...infact my wife and I both agree... it was in the top 3 of our best meals we've had since going out... we're definitely coming back here again...

Paid for extra chicken on my carbonara and didn’t receive any. This isn’t the first time it’s happened.

Good service and a nice place but with very, very mediocre quality food with no speciality. The prices though are disgustingly, insultingly high now. What used to be a tenner is almost double. A light sandwhich skimping on fries is 17 quid. Generally they cook their pizzas really well but some of the toppings and general recipe 'quirks' they have on their menu leads me to want the whole chain to shut.

Paid £7.50 for a Ben and jerrys 475ml ice cream and they have sent out a 100ml one. Called restaurant said I had to get a refund through just eat. No responsibility taken and blame shifting to just eat.

Ordered takeaway from wildwood last night with high hopes following other recent reviews but was really disappointed. The pepperoni pizza arrived cold, it was really undercooked and borderline soggy which was not what we expected from a wood-fired pizza as other places that sell these are amazing. The chicken and mushroom pasta was sadly no better either, whilst it arrived warmer than the pizza it was totally bland and even adding salt didn’t help much. Definitely not somewhere I would go back to, especially after spending £30 for both theses dishes and neither to be nice.

Thought it would be 3rd time lucky from Wildwood, unfortunately not. Calzone undercooked, sweet potato’s seriously overcooked. Third and last time unfortunately, won’t order again.

Would have given zero stars if I could My partner and I were in the area for a weekend away and went here as it looked like a nice restaurant to go to for dinner. We were greeted by a male host who I think was the manager, showed us to some seats. All seemed fine. I visited the toilet and was not impressed with them. Dirty toilet seat (not urine) for one which I had to wipe and toilet roll on the floor. Obviously not cleaned regularly or properly. On returning to my seat we were looking at the menu. The three staff members were at the bar, the manager, another male and a female waitress. The manager started to talk very loudly and said “I don’t fking care what he thinks he can fk off” We both looked over in shock as he continued his conversation in the same manner and the female server saw us looking over. She looked embarrassed and the manager also saw us looking over and wasn’t bothered. There were young children and families in the restaurant too! She came over about 2 minutes later and asked if we would like to order any drinks. I said no, and then we both decided we didn’t want to stay and left. No apology from any of the staff. Utterly disgusting behaviour.

Stone cold, chewy, rack of ribs and sweetcorn. Had to microwave it to heat it up!!!!!! Fries and salad were nice though.

Absolutely awful. Do not order ribs from her like warm, water and tough. Stone cold corn on the cob. Also adding g a service charge in the hope it won't get questioned is terrible business practice. One of our party of 5 enjoyed their meal though.

Always fast, always hot and the linguine Vongole is amazing. We love this place in person and were surprised how good it still is when delivered.

Always have a lovely meal but tonight’s was outstanding. The lasagne and tomato bread was to die for. Delivered piping hot, on time and all delicious. Hubby had the chicken risotto and said it was yummy.

Nice place to eat with friendly staff. Service was fairly quick but it wasn't busy. Food was ok in quality but nothing special. At this price level I was expecting more. Not really value for Money IMO. Very Italian focused although personally I like a more varied menu. Next time I'll try one of the other restaurants nearby.
