visited today Monday 26th Sept 2022. Changed a lot since its previous life as a cafe, now very modern and slick. Menu was Ok and a specials board. Thought it was a bit pricey and the coffee ordered was a large but seemed like a medium and didnt think i t was very strong. The man taking orders was quite loud, came across as abrupt and lacks customer service qualities. A breakfast was ordered by a lady and the cafe then smelt very greasy like a Mcdonalds.

Excellent ice creams, great variety and flavour. I visited with my dogs on a really hot day in July. Perfect way to cool down. Also a special mention to the pet shop Wiggle and Wag which shares a site with the gelato shop. Both great.

We don’t really know Dorking but came for a comedy gig and wanted food and drink before the show. We booked a table online and then were a bit confused when we walked in as it’s looks like a work space but then has a bar and says it served food. The staff explained they had a limited menu currently. As we were there and we’d booked we thought we’d give it a go. We ordered halloumi fries to start and then various burgers - whilst initially worried this was just going to be a zap in the microwave job; how wrong we were. The food was so good. The food was restaurant quality!! The staff (particularly the gent I assume was the manager) were so friendly and helpful and couldn’t do enough for us. We will definitely go again; and look forward to when they have their full menu.

A truly great evening was had last night. We went for a Christmas meal, and from the point of arrival when we found “Thatchers Zero” in the fridge for the designated driver, to settling up at the end of the evening the experience was great. Super friendly staff, and a well behaved pub dog who just had a look of “please love me” on his face. The food was superb, and the price was good value for money. I would definitely recommend the pub.

Visited Glastonbury whilst on a weeks break in Crewkerne. Popped into to this lovely cafe as it was dog friendly. Forgetting my glasses I asked if they catered for gluten free, they did (it stated it on the menu). As I ordered the lady behind the counter asked if I was coeliac, I told her I was. When the food was brought to the table, the lady explained that she had cleaned the kitchen and prepared my food using all new unopened ingredients. All I had was a corned beef and onion sandwich, but the attention to detail was second to none. Really recommend this place to coeliacs and non coeliacs.

The Sunrise Cafe may look like an ordinary cafe on the outside but inside the food is something special! Choose something from The Thai menu if you like Thai food and you will experience some of the best authentic Thai cooking outside Thailand! We stopped here for lunch after driving around the Malvern Hills all morning thinking it was just a normal cafe but discovered that it also had a Thai Menu cooked by a delightful Thai lady Chef called "Jim". I am not sure how she came by that name but she was definitely a woman! We chose Tom Yum chicken soup and checked that would not be too spicy hot first. It was perfect and also contained Mushroom, Sping Onion and Tomato. Incredibly tasty with a mild warmth aftertaste. We followed this with a Chicken Massaman Curry which included a Jasmine sticky rice. The curry was the best we have tasted. It looked so appetising with it's rich golden colour. The friendly Hungarian waitress also supplied us with water and afterwards my wife Angie had a hot chocolate and I had a White Cofffee. A fantastic meal and drinks for just under £20 a head. If you are touring the Malverns this is worth taking a detour for! It is open from about 8:30 am to 4pm this time of the year and has a garden available at the back for outdoor seating in the summer months. The Cafe also serves a range of cooked breakfasts and lunches or hot sandwiches, some deserts, milkshakes, hot and cold drinks.
