We caught the last opening day of this delightful small walled garden nursery. The cafe is set within the garden with some tables spread amongst the flower beds. Quality of food was very good. The venue is a place for loyal locals and visiting horticultural enthusiasts alike. Will definitely visit again when it reopens in the Spring.

Fabulous garden and plant nursery (one of the best ANYWHERE), and first-class coffee and cake. As we were leaving several people were arriving for lunch - clearly a GREAT place all round!

Interesting to see this walled garden featured (free advert) on Gardeners’ World. Shame they didn’t mention how the owners respond so badly to negative feedback about their tearoom, rather than welcoming constructive criticism.

Lovely tea & cake in a beautiful and tranquil garden on an extremely hot day in August. Tea was served in blue &white china outside under shade, surrounded by wonderful planting. Really appreciated the philosophy of the garden such as no watering. Could afternoon tea be served anywhere more pretty? The lunch menu is simple and short. This is for short stops whilst enjoying a small part of paradise.

Have never eaten lunch here but have enjoyed excellent tea, coffee and cakes many times. Fantastic selection of sweet goods; an ever reliable Victoria sponge and many other interesting options. Ate there this afternoon and had Persian love cakes which were heavily flavoured with delicious nutmeg and were new to me. The view of the garden and the hills beyond make this place a really restful and interesting place. The gardens themselves are beautiful and full of interesting plants and planting ideas. Thoroughly recommended.

Lots of choice of plants, most with labels and descriptions. Price range okay. After buying a number of plants we didn't use the tea rooms, decided to pay £5 each to view the planting schemes in the gardens. Perhaps viewing the gardens could be complementary if a quantity of plants are purchased.

Having had a nice afternoon tea here in the past, we visited again for lunch. How disappointing! The lunch menu had just one item on it - quiche salad - which I hate. Only option for me was the one and only starter of a bowl of soup and bread roll. Tried to fill up with a piece of carrot cake - they had run out. The waitress gave the impression she would rather be doing anything than working there! In short, don’t bother to visit this place if you want anything to eat.

Visited for the first time this weekend, don’t know why we’ve not been before, and had a lovely lunch followed by a tour of the gardens which still looked good despite it being late in the season. Nice chilled out experience. Looking forward to going back.

We really enjoyed our visit to this beautiful walled garden. Lots of colour and interesting plants. The lunch menu was not huge but it was all freshly prepared and very delicious. I particularly enjoyed the pea, olive and pepper salad. We sat "in the garden". The cakes looked great too, but didn't have room for one unfortunately. The staff were very friendly. I hope to make another visit in the spring if not before.

We fell in love with Wildesgoose Tearoom on our first visit and were made to feel so welcome, we now try to call in most weekends during the season. Based in a large walled garden that is being lovingly restored after lying untouched for years, it boasts magnificent views over the Shropshire Hills. On a sunny day you can sit outside and admire the garden while tucking into a lovely afternoon tea. Graeme, Janette and their helper Nick are friendly and welcoming and I cannot fault the service which is second to none. The food is really good. It's fresh, homemade using quality ingredients, and nicely presented on pretty crockery. The different varieties of bread come from a local bakery and the delicious soup is made by Graeme who has converted my soup hater husband into soup lover. He also makes great Rocky Road while Janette's cakes and scones are to die for. Any drawbacks? Yes, just one, it only opens on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays! We are going to miss our weekly visits when the place closes for the winter on October 13, but will hopefully visit again during the two special winter weekends at the end of November and the beginning of December.

Unsure whether title should have been 'Walled Gardens with lovely Tearooms' but either way an excellent visit. A Sunday morning visit & whilst part of a group, this was no problem with plenty of viewing to be done. Excellent achievements with the gardens in the 8yrs (ish) to date, and it appears plenty of more opportunities for the future which will require further visits without hesitation. Lovely tearoom inside & out (fantastic views) with a good choice of foods and drinks.Very efficient and pleasant service to match.

A friend and I visited this lovely tearoom for the first time recently. We had coffee and scones which were beautiful. The people running the tearoom were extremely welcoming and friendly. To get to the tearoom we walked through a very well stocked and maintained walled garden which was stunning. The wooden tearoom is at the top of the garden and very quaint. We will definitley visit again in the future.

This is a lovely place to pop into if you're driving along from/to Craven Arms/Bridgnorth. We were late in the day, so had a quick look around the plants and then headed for the tearoom. It was one of those places where I would have been quite content to while away a couple of hours with tea and cake, looking through the magazines scattered around, which seemed to have been specially selected, just for me! (Gardens Illustrated, Country Living, etc.) I enjoyed a scone with lemon curd and marscarpone, which is a combination I would never have thought of. The walled gardens looked lovely. We were too late to go around them, so I did find myself getting a bit nervous that I might 'step too much off the path' from the tea room to the plant selection, given that we hadn't paid to look around. Possibly a bit more signage to be clear about what's 'nursery/plant centre' (free) and what counts as 'walled garden' (not free) would be helpful. Overall though, a lovely place. I've already told others about it, and will go back.

Lovely location to enjoy tea and scones, with far reaching views of the Shropshire countryside. Attached nursery is also worth wandering around. Only downside was that it was a little expensive, especially if you also paid to look round the gardens.

Wildegoose is a real gem and well worth a visit. As well as a huge collection of Violas to buy visitors can enjoy the beautiful renovated curved glass houses and a fascinating garden. The planting is inspirational especially in the late summer as the perennials and grasses are stunning. Enjoy a peaceful view as you partake of lovely refreshments in the onsite family run cafe.

I recently heard about this place, via my mother at a WI meeting, when the owner gave a talk about his walled garden and nursery! So my husband and I decided to go and find it while we were in the area. It was beautiful they have a viola nursery there. Also the walled garden which had been untouched for 70 years, had been planted out with the most beautiful plants, in a cottage garden style. With walk ways through . The original glass houses have been lovingly restored, piece by piece and are amazing. In another year or so this garden will be even more amazing. They have a lovely tea room with beautiful cakes and beverages and seating area in and out, we sat outside and listened to the birds. A lovely experience, well worth a visit if you love gardens.

I came across this tea room while planning our Saturday ride from Bewdley, and as it was about the right distance for our mid ride cake stop decided to give it a go. What a fantastic decision that was!Set in a tranquil kitchen type garden the tearoom was perfectly positioned to give a great view across the gardens and out to Clee Hill (which we had just cycled over). The lady and gent who greeted us couldn't have been nicer or more helpful and the food was absolutely lovely. I had a ham sandwich, which appeared to be local ham, thick cut while my cycling buddy had a piece of quiche, both of which came with salad and crisps.Normally we would indulge in a'large' piece of cake, and the selection looked lovely, but having already had a sandwich only a small cake was called for. I had an almond and cheery slice while my pal had a flour free orange slice, both of which were lovely. The coffee was good and even the tap water was welcome after many hot miles. So if you are in the area go to this tea room its is well worth a visit.

Relatively new but, excellent little tearoom in a fantastic location. Quaint and freshly presented, this small (7 tables) relaxing tea room captures a cottage style atmosphere in clean uncluttered surroundings. The place has a real welcoming and intimate feel to it.Team are extremely friendly and helpful, preparing fresh homemade quality produce. Not an extensive menu (soup, sandwiches & quiche) but something for everyone, nicely prepared and presented. However, the cakes are the stars here ! A piece of ginger cake with an excellent coffee........Heaven!Only open when the Nursery's open, so make sure you visit between April & October. Now on our list of regulars!!

An unexpected detour( look for the purple signs on the B4368 between Craven Arms and Bridgenorth) brought us to a delightful nursery being lovingly re-created within the walls of an abandoned kitchen garden of bygone times. The modern addition of a simple but stylish tearoom provides a well prepared and presented cup of tea and cake/sandwich after wandering around the garden and purchasing a few plants. Fabulous views as well!

South Shropshire surprise yesterday in amazing sunshine and spectacular views over the clee hill as we visited @Wildgoosenursery set in fab walled garden . Not just violas but a new project creating perennial herbaceous borders too and restored Victorian greenhouses. Very envious of the walled garden but it was massive! New tea room was excellent - We loved the cake and coffee of course! All home made and exceptional cakes, scones and rocky road. Even had salmon and dill quiche to take away for our lunch. Yum we will be back as fascinated to see this local project develop and of course excuse for visiting tea room

Went for the first secret diner club evening that is run by Jess who owns the fab 'not today seitan' in liar liar..what can i say?.the food was on another level. Litrally the best vegan food in Oswestry and way surpasses anything else available in a vegan cafe in Oswestry. The food was beautifully presented, the flavours were amazing and the cocktails were beautiful too. Really hope the owner decides to run these evenings on a regular basis although once word gets around i imagine getting a table will be really difficult. Its great to see a vibrant young business do so well and honestly the co trading with Liar liar is such a brilliant idea. Two amazing businesses running side by side. I cannot recommend this highly enough, the best vegan resturant/cafe in town by far

Honestly the best pub meal I've had in years! The steak and Guinness pie was delicious and chips better than many chippies. How they do that with bargain prices baffles me. Highly recommend
