Pasta dish undercooked (returned), wine not chilled, no bread offered, no Parmesan offered for the pasta, the food was good but overall a poor experience for an expensive (over priced restaurant).

We’ve been here several occasions since it opened - sitting inside and out, and at different times. All consistently good and with an international vibe. Reminds me a lot of a fav restaurant in Venice, CA - Scopa. In short even though 201 is missed, Wild is a wonderful addition to Notting Hill. I’d highly recommend booking in advance for dinner especially. Enjoy.

I love it when you find a new restaurant. The ambience and style of this restaurant is excellent. The maitre de, a young woman was the best. Helpful. Knowledgeable, and attentive. The food was excellent. Couldn’t fault it. Service perfect and the atmosphere on a Saturday was very buzzy. It was very expensive, £100 plus per head. But that’s London for you. I don’t mind paying a lot if everything is perfect…. And it was.

Looking for somewhere to have breakfast, we saw that Wild was offering some options so went in. Ordered a mushroom omelette and an avocado and egg on toast. To the allergies question we said gluten-free for the 1st one and no spice for the other. When food came, my omelette had no mushrooms and my friend had jalapenos on hers... When waiter came to check all was ok, I said it wasn't what I ordered and my friend said she asked for no spices, so not exactly what we wanted. Waiter was a little flustered and tried to put it on us not making ourselves clear, but went to speak to his manager who then came to apologise and said he asked for the mushrooms omelette to come right away. Funny enough the 1st one was better 🤣 All in all we enjoyed our food and they apologised again as they just started to offer breakfasts, they weren't yet up to scratch. And didn't charge me for my food...

Very disappointed, I ordered a granola yogurt, and I saw the water «  tried » the pot of yogourt in the open kitchen before to serve it to me… Seriously ? The yogourt wasn’t fresh for sure, I didn’t finish it. Also the French brioche was small et not super tasty. Avoid this place, there are so many amazing places in Notting Hill for breakfast

The food is excellent, with polite and attentive service. Yes the place is pricey. One terrible detail: they brought us toothpics at the end of the meal. Toothpics, seriously: a little plate with one toothpic each. Whose idea was that, I wonder. Gross.

Unplanned visit for post dinner drinks, manager treated us like dirt - he couldn't have cared less, made us feel unwelcomed and kept eyeing up the staff about us - unprepared bar staff didn't know what and how much to charge us for drinks so they made up prices on the spot, sat at the bar and was still charged service charge as they were closing down. I've lived in Notting Hill all my life, it's a shame to see that 202 has turned into a soulless venue where they treat you like a tourist. The brief experience was an unfortunate waste of time...

A very cool vibe, excellent food and service combine for a great experience (interesting crowd too - great for people watching) but the prices exceeded the delivery by some margin. The Beef Carpaccio and the lamb rags were both stand out. Highly recommended on someone else's credit card :-)

The restaurant in the back is very loud. Speaking to other people across the table is quite hard. The clubby-type music adds to the bad acoustics. If you want it quieter, get a table at the windows (in front of the restaurant). The service and food are great. But the prices are exorbitant for what you get. Typical Notting Hill restaurant strategy: no alcohol in the drinks, add lots of ice and you will sell more drinks. So best to stick with a beer (a shame with such a great bar). A bottle of water at GBP 7.50 I find too much. Same on the sides, everything is just GBP 1 - 5 too much. The heat from the kitchen easily moves into the main dining area despite the heavy use of AC. I have been there a few times, but I have had similar experiences every time.

Was looking forward to visiting Wild as its sister restaurants (Wild Tavern and Belvedere) have both left very good impression. This new baby in Notting Hill exceeded my expectations. Just great vibe all around! I was happy to find some classics on the menu, it’s just so comforting to have my fav pasta here as well. But they threw some cool new dishes in, making the menu their own. Great staff, chefs and front of house! Open kitchen takes center stage and it’s pure joy 🤩

Cool room, though poor acoustics means it is very noisy. Good service. Expensive, so-so food and heavily marked up wine. So, very Notting Hill….

I enjoyed few dinners at Wild since its opening. Can’t fault anything really, service, cuisine or atmosphere. Every time it was perfection! We tried at least half of the menu - the dishes vary from very light and pure (raw bar) to hearty and filling pastas, to Josper grilled foods. My personal favorites were: aubergine with smoked ricotta pasta and the king fish carpaccio. Amazing!

Was really looking forward to trying Wild as I often go to Wild Tavern. The quality of the food was really disappointing. The artichoke, avocado salad needed a lot more seasoning, the avocado was more of a mousse which was a shame & our steak which we asked for medium rare wasn’t that, it was chewy, tough to cut & the steak knives were blunt. we ended up sending it back. The mushrooms were great though just not enough of them… they took our steak off the bill & it came to £44 for a small salad & a side of mushrooms and water - not great.

Beautiful restaurant with an open concept so you can see all the bustle of a professional kitchen. Service was impeccable, and the food very good, very fresh - the avocado artichoke salad was a hilight. I found the attention to details, such as stemware and silverware, of a very high caliber. There was a hiccup with our order, but the manager (or owner?) stepped in very quickly to explain the issue, and offered complimentary deserts to our table of four. This kind of professional service will take this new restaurant through the normal growing pains and I wish them great success.

I have long been looking for a Turkish restaurant that ventured outside the traditional selection of grilled meats and salads and was very happy when I saw the Counter's exciting menu. Highlights of the menu were the crab orzo, tuna wagyu and the sensational seabass. Delicious..

We came for tea and cake, we ordered mint tea and baklava. The tea was lovely and the baklava flavourful and fresh. The issue I have is the cleanliness, the teacups had dust, grease stains and lipstick marks still left on the inside. The tea pot was dusty and seemed not to have been cleaned at least on the outside. This can easily be fixed and once it is then I’d love to come back.

A delicious British chicken was about the best thing on the menu. It came with rice and adornments. Also had Baklawa for dessert. Would have given them five stars if they'd had tea/coffee/hot drinks available. Location's nice too and handy for a visit to friends!
