SW7 Brasserie & Bar in Kensington and Chelsea

Avoid .Terrible service. Wrong order brought. Finally got my burger and it was full of gristle. Manager couldn’t care less . Rude and unprofessional and unhelpful.

I visited the restaurant with my wife whilst we were in London for a couple of days. The restaurant had a lot of natural light and looked nice. That’s the good bit. We ordered some calamari to start and then I had the chicken breast with a side of fries and my wife ordered the burger. The calamari came with my side of fries. The calamari was ok but nothing to write home about. My chicken came later without the side of fries as they came earlier. The chicken was average at best. The key issue was that my wife was given a completely different dish and not a burger. We were told that the burger would now be a further 10 mins so I ate my chicken alone. When the burger came and my wife ate that alone it was a truly awful burger with a lot of fat & gristle. At the end of the meal when I paid we complained to the General Manager who smiled at our misfortune. No apology or an attempt to make us feel better. We got a smile. I really don’t like giving bad reviews and as a rule only give positive reviews or stay silent. However, the service here was the worst I have received in many years. Avoid at all costs.

Restaurant attached to Melia hotel . Nicely decorated and staff lovely but very quiet so lacked some ambience but that’s probably due to current times we are living in . We had an afternoon tea with champagne and it was excellent. The bubbly was tasty and a good measure . The tea was made up of good quality sandwiches , salmon & cheese, aubergine & tapenade & egg Mayo , the cakes stole the show though , unusual selection and very tasty 😋 Also good option of teas available. Highly recommended!

Stayed at the newly opened Melia Kensington boutique hotel and this restaurant is part of it. We found that service and food very good and not over priced. It was good to able to eat in the hotel despite a wealth of choice in the area.

On the expensive side for a hotel restaurant but each dish was very well prepared. Inna's service was excellent!

Really nice food which was full of flavour in this new restaurant. Lunch menu is really good value with good service . Will definitely go back again.
