Wild & Green Kitchen in Waverley

We visited this cafe after visiting the area and it was a nice experience. The cafe is located on the first floor accessed by a staircase overlooking the main high street so if you had any mobility issues then this could be a problem re access. We were given a warm welcome and seated. Good vibe and relaxed atmosphere . The coffee was nice and my wife had a Welsh rarebit which was tasty however the cheese was incredibly strong. My toasted tea cake was nice served with anchor butter with quality jam. Prices on par given the quality and recommended

Had a lovely breakfast (smashed avo on toast) to celebrate my birthday. Great service and great food.

Lunch with a friend, delicious avocado and tomato bruschetta. Service was excellent a great improvement from the last visit. Will definitely go again

We sat outside, got our menus and order taken straight away which was a great start. Things went downhill from here... Our coffee arrived after we'd finished our food. The coffee was undrinkable due to them burning the milk. The food was lovely but the website does not in any way reflect the price you'll pay. Furthermore, if you sit outside you eat off of paper plates (good quality) and drinks are in paper cups. All in all, really disappointed. It has the potential to be great but needs a lot of work.

We visited mid morning. We requested a table by the window which offered a beautiful view across the village. The French doors were open and the atmosphere was very relaxed. We chose hot chocolate and tea cakes. The hot chocolate was the nicest I’ve ever tasted and the tea cake was delicious. The restaurant was very clean and tidy. All of the staff were very friendly. We will definitely be returning. Thank you.

Poor inconstant service. We waited an age for any level of service and people arriving after us got served sooner. Pretty poor. Had to chase several times for drinks and tbh I nearly walked out but the food arrived. Food was pretty good so overall in a way that’s even more frustrating because it would be good if they just sorted out the service and attentiveness…

Always a bit cautious when you can’t see into a restaurant, but went upstairs and was pleasantly surprised at the surroundings and menu (owners - suggest you make one visible from outside / on stairs). Mix of table sizes and a good selection for breakfast / brunch and cakes. Service was slow, a “problem with the ticket machine” one staff member said. A “problem as we are short staffed” another told us. Please have a consistent excuse! When food did arrive it was fresh, tasty and good portion sizes, so this offset the delays as it was worth the wait. I will come back again as it is our new local, so will see how speedy the service is next time. Though slow, cannot rate as poor service as staff were all pleasant, courteous and smiley.

This is a lovely restaurant BUT why is the service SO slow ? No explanation given for 30 min wait for coffee, if it’s staff shortage then close some tables. Staff appeared to be floundering, possibly need training? Customers have been lost 😠

Amazing food. I had the vegan burger. Great options vegan and non. Friendly service. Sat outside, which is quite busy next to the road, but fun people and dog watching.

April 2021. Lots of outside seating. Table service and takeaway. Outside coffee/cake stand. Toilets available. Quick and excellent service. Popular.

Went for lunch but the service was extremely slow, it was not busy but this has put us off and will only have coffee in future.

I think this will be our new favourite place for breakfast in Cranleigh. We had the breakfast crunch and coffee and both were fantastic. It has got a really varied menu with plenty of good breakfast, lunch and cake options !! Its really spacious with good Covid practices in place.

Visited the Wild and Green Kitchen for a drink and cake around 11am on Saturday. The cafe was clean and there were lots of options for food and drink but unfortunately we felt ignored after our drinks order was taken. We weren't asked if we wanted any food and we saw other tables being served and receive their food in the meantime. Due to Covid we were told to wait at the table and we'd be served. We had to go and ask to pay at the till as we had finished our drinks and no one checked up on us. I also noticed my teapot and saucer weren't cleaned properly (probably staining but easy to remove with a good scrub). Such a shame because the range of food looked great and the Covid set up felt sound with one way system and the NHS track and trace.

We sat at one of the outside tables. There was a buzzer to press which alerted the staff that they had a customer outside. We only had coffee and cafe. This was excellent. They had a gluten free option. I noticed that there were several gluten free/vegetarian/vegan options available according to the menu. I went inside to pay and use the facilities. It was very clean.

Haven't been here for a while. Food plentiful and very tasty and well presented. Staff pleasant and efficient. Restaurant was full. Will be back soon.

Nearly £5 for a sage ‘sausage ‘ roll which had very little filling in it. I’ve had breakfast here before and it was fine but seriously review the price of your pastries.

This cafe is only for the fit as you have to climb up a tight stair case to access. Once you enter it's a large welcoming space and the food counter is clean and displays a lovely selection of pastries and salads. Food on offer...

Calm and welcoming space with view above Cranleigh High Street, adjacent to Stockland Square car park. Great artisan coffee, with alternative milks available, good selection of pastries, cakes and breakfast and lunch choices, all homemade. Salad platter great but huge! Thoroughly recommend it.
