The food was OK. My 9 year old ordered a green smoothie, but didn't like this. It cost £5 so asked if we go swap this for something he would drink and they said no. We will have to pay and couldnt re-do another drink. This was a discretionary decision made by the young lady with black hair It's a shame, as this has put me off returning here. Wouldn't have had this experience at starbucks!

Always a lovely experience at Wild Cafe! It really is a hidden oasis of beautifully curated calm and colour, just off the canal towpath outside Marsden. The menu is varied and offers tasty vegan/vegetarian choices plus daily specials. Beautiful cakes! The team are fun and friendly, dogs and children are welcomed! Deservedly popular, highly recommended! Great little shop full of nice things too!

After a big walk along the neighbouring canal, reservoirs and moorland, me and my daughter stumbled across this enchanted cafe. Sitting in the covered garden, we ordered the sharing platter which was out of this world. Honey glazed halloumi, tzatsiki, olives, sundried tomatoes, flat bread, sourgdough, hummus and balsamic oil. Dog friendly, child friendly (even a little playground), and lots of home made cakes, what a place this is. Staff lovely too.

Such a beautiful spot and just lovely inside. The food was yum, bit on the pricey side, but I was willing to be open minded because I love their concept. Hummus AMAZING! Coffee OK, a little weak. Staff mostly really friendly. Cleanliness (especially in the toilet in the main building) could be better. We waited 40 minutes for food which was fine because the kids were playing on the fab playground, but drinks (just coffee and juice, nothing fancy) took nearly 30 minutes to come which definitely felt too long.

Simply brilliant. We visited as part of a spa and lunch deal I bought as a Christmas gift. We dined in the tree house after our spa treatments. What a stunning place. A truly unique setting and unreal food. It was such a fantastic visit I’m already looking forward to going back

What a wonderful haven of tranquility & calm. The staff were so accommodating to my mother’s needs. Wish I’d heard about it earlier. The pumpkin soup was yummy. Will be back ASAP.

Where do I start? It ticks every box. Outside seating if the weather is good, various indoor spots to get cosy in. There’s a lovely atmosphere to the whole operation from the decor to the shop to the extremely capable and friendly staff. Obviously the cherry on the cake (and the cakes are top notch) is the food and drink. The coffee is superb but they offer a big variety of beverages including cocktails. Don’t come looking for steak as the menu is vegetarian and vegan based. It’s delicious and an explosion of flavours on your taste buds. The menu is expanding all the time so repeated visits are a must. I would recommend booking as it’s always been busy when I’ve paid a visit. Superb place.

This place is amazing! The welcome was genuine, the staff were so friendly and the food was outstanding. The atmosphere was cosy with incense gently filling the air and the gifts and cards available to purchase were gorgeous. I can’t wait to go back.

What an amazing venue absolutely fantastic. Booked the tree house which is fabulous with inside and outside (undercover) area. Food and cocktail menu had lots to offer and gin fizz cocktail was the very best ever. The food was beautiful, fresh and large portions. Was a terrible rainy day but added to the experience. Staff team are spot on, friendly and helpful and professional. Highly recommend and will return

A great little cafe, situated next to the Huddersfield canal near to Marsden, accessible from the A 62, next to Coachhouse Well-being Centre in a very pleasant setting. We had a marvellous lunch of Greek dishes: hummus with flatbread, tzaztiki, halloumi with harissa, and more. All excellent. A varied and interesting menu, with daily specials. Service attentive and friendly. Open during the day, though they do have occasional evenings. Check website. Highly recommended.

Just googled best breakfast near me on a drive out to Holmfirth and WOW , I wasn't disappointed. Full English, yes I had to wait for it to be made but well worth it. Probably the best breakfast I've had in years. Definitely coming again !!! 5 stars well done 👏

Agreed to swap out an item in the £8 breakfast for 1 hash brown. Ended up charging £1.15 extra for a single hash brown on an overpriced breakfast

"I am writing to express my extreme disappointment with an incident that occurred at your establishment during a recent visit for a friend's birthday. Despite being loyal patrons for over ten years, the owner approached our party, which included out-of-town guests, and made unacceptable remarks suggesting our presence would negatively impact the bar's reputation. This belittling behavior, particularly in front of our guests, was deeply offensive and unacceptable."
