Stopped for a coffee here for the first time and was greeted like an old friend. Very welcoming and friendly from the start.

The waitress didn't know what she was doing, and due to the fact that there was no seats I had to sit in the childrens play room which was very crowded and full of 6 year olds as a adult. Not going back ever again.

Popped in here for a coffee and a snack after taking my son to the park. The staff are very friendly and the downstairs playroom really the best in the area. They have a great ethos for supporting people with learning difficulties and run a number of classes such as sign language.

Had a quick breakfast here this morning, the service was nice and friendly. They also served nice coffee. Unfortunately my sausage and egg sandwich was not nice. The sausage was barely cooked, I didn't bother to complain as I was into the sandwich before really noticing. But it did put me off a bit, you need to ask for well done sausages if ordering the sausage sandwich. The price was a bit on the top end but ok. Just outside the main centre on the way to Dunmow road probably won't bother again, unless just for a drink.

Found this place by chance. What a gem. Had a lovely breakfast and exactly what I wanted. Didn't have to have a set menu and ask for the things I don't like to be removed. Was amazed at the wonderful things that this place does. Keep up the good work you are doing a wonderful job.

I popped in for a quick coffee to pass the time whilst using the nearby laundrette having passed a few times but never having a reason to stop in. Well I’m glad I did! Firstly, the staff are so friendly and welcoming, the coffee was superb, all the food is home cooked including a good range of cakes ;-) The environment is family friendly with a separate play area for little ones, a separate room with pool table for events and they welcome well behaved (leashed) dogs :-) What makes this cafe truly unique is their services and clubs - they run courses in first aid and Makaton, and run social and hobby clubs. What more could you want from a local cafe!

Stopped here by chance for a quick cuppa, received a lovely welcome by the staff who served us with tea and home made cake, all very reasonably priced. It is run by Sid and her helpers who are happy to chat about their unique café.. The food is all home made and has vegan, dairy and gluten free on the menu. A Makaton course is on offer as are various other classes and there is a lovely childrens` play area stocked with toys and books and squishy cushions. Definitely worth a visit to support their endeavour and great for children to have fun..

Positives - Absolutely beautiful pub, with highly attentive, happy staff. Negatives - I fancied some cheesy chips with my pint... The smallest portion of chips, not fries (good thing) arrived and they were by far the most disgusting chips I have ever eaten... anywhere, in my entire life. Absolutely soaked in old, very smelly & obviously extremely dirty fryer oil. Utterly rank... I'll not be returning I'm afraid.

Delicious and freshly made fish and chips right in front of you. The prices are great and the staff are really nice! Highly recommend Dali’s.

Went with my husband for a quite drink when the owner turned up caused a scene with the landlord & landlady he then called the police accusing them of things they hadn’t done baring in mind there were two witnesses in the pub us , the owners sisters then came in saying she has called a gang to come up to sort them Out bad move in front of paying customers , the police then turn up in riot gear who nearly tasered my husband On false lies the owner told them , nobody should buy the lease on this pub from the owner as the village will boycott the pub while he owns it keep away from this pub at all costs The owner has ruined a village pub since he has taken over just over a year there has been 4 couples trying their hardest to run this pub it is a white elephant
