These burgers are so good that they are up there with the best I have had anywhere in the world…so good that my kids are always keen to go to campus to go to Wibbly…but would be nice if they did a cheap kids menu option!

I should have realised this place wasn't very good when the campus was packed on freshers week but this place was empty. I had an overpriced, dry (and I mean drier than than the sahara desert) chicken burger. My advice is to eat at the Cartmel farmhouse, great value decent food.

I came here with my male companion - we had never been before despite living on the university campus. It was quite quiet when we arrived although it did start to get busier as time went on. I ordered a plain beef burger which wasn't too expensive, we also got some cheesy chips to share. When getting your burger you get a choice of salads and sauces. The burger was tasty, however it was quite small - I was still quite hungry afterwards! I think what would be better is if the burgers came with a side of chips - there didn't appear to be any deals on the menu. However, service was quick and cheerful and there was nothing wrong with the burgers in terms of their taste - they could have just been a bit bigger perhaps!

Stort udvalg og meget lækkert mad. Hyggelig og stille, og med masser af siddepladser. Mulighed for take away.

Our trip wasn't that great to be honest, we paid around £9 each for a meal and we got it in takeaway cartons even though we were eating in, the food was cheap and they didn't even put cheese on the beef burger. The chips weren't that great either and the burgers were thin The service was also really slow, it took around 25 minutes to get the food when there were barely any customers. However, the staff were friendly and you did get to choose what sauces and salads came on your burger. Honestly though it's not worth the money!

Went to wibbly wobbly when picking my son up from uni we both enjoyed and burgers. I had a gluten free burger which I enjoyed even though the bun was a little dry

Unfortunately I wasn't impressed. Visited with a group of friends and there appeared to be faults with almost every item ordered. The fillet burger in which we had made a special trip in search of was a total disappointment as it was ruined by the stale bun which was dropping to bits, and considering this had cost the best part of £20 annoyed is an understatement. Had the other meals ordered had better bread I would have asked to switch, yet it appeared everyone's were dry, stale and falling apart. The duck burger was slightly better, although smothered in a really poor hoisin sauce, almost ruining the entire burger. Put it this way - my friend didn't finish it. The pork loin burger was tasty! The chips covered with cheese and bacon was not. Sadly, these were cold. As this is on the University site, I was genuinely astounded with the prices for what we received, and the £2.50 for a small water sealed the deal. Sorry, we won't be returning.

Visited while staying at Lancaster University for a Youth Cycle race. Happened to stumble upon the burger bar by mistake, but around 12 of us went in. Surprisingly very good burgers, in a relaxed atmosphere. Friendly helpful staff. Would go back for sure.

As others have said, this is a very pleasant place to eat. Relaxed atmosphere, brilliant burgers and the service is always first rate. If you want somewhere to eat lunch with others, this is easily my favourite at university.

We are regular visitors to the shop and are never disappointed with our food. The menu is extensive, we have to go regularly to even stand a chance at trying all the different choices on offer. I wholeheartedly recommend the shop to anyone who loves burgers.

Came here with a group of friends during a lunch break from university and four of us ordered, each of us ordering a different burger. The food did take a little while to come, about 20-25mins hence only 4 stars, however when it did arrive it was absolutely fantastic! I ordered the mexican burger, which was full of flavour and the tortillas topped it off perfectly. You can choose extra sauces and toppings when your food comes to the counter, which is great! One of the things that really makes this restaurant great is the service, which i cannot fault! The man who served us took time to explain the menu and was extremely friendly throughout. All in all a fantastic little place to eat and we are already planning our next trip!

Came here for burgers (as you may have guessed!) and was a little disappointed to be honest. We both had veggie burgers and they seemed to be of the frozen variety as were the chips and the onion rings. The place seem to present itself as a unique, top end burger joint but it just isn't. The pot of tea was really good on the plus side and plentiful. I wouldn't return.

I had frequented the first venue on the university campus several years ago and was so glad to see a new one in the city centre on a recent visit to Lancaster. I was not disappointed! Everything about the venue had been done right: great atmosphere, friendly staff, amazing food! If you want a low quality takeaway burger then just go to 'Maccys' because this is a vendor who sources a HUGE range of high quality ingredients, and takes care and pride in their preparation. You can choose from their pre-designed works of genius, or you can build you own! There is a reason this company is expanding, and that reason is: quality.

Very clean, friendly helpful staff, really quick service. Tried the duck and lamb burger both delicious. Had a side order of cheese light bites perfect for sharing. The price is really reasonable. Sweet potato chips would be a nice addition. Will definitely be back.

Came with a few friends ordered 5 different burgers for about £50 inc drinks.. not badly priced considering the choice of burgers and sauces and all had cheesy chips. Nice and relaxed atmosphere friendly staff.. The only thing I would have changed was the onion rings and chips.. Both were cold and the onion rings were overcooked.. 2 out of the 5 of us had cold chips so I can only imagine we got the left over chips from the table before us. Would still return though.

Visited the new branch in Lancaster City Centre on Tuesday 21st July. We waited a while for the food to be ready - we had ordered 4 meals. Meals were brought to the front counter and the counter attendant proceeded to complete the order asking what sauces, salad etc were required for each one. The problem was, more than one meal was brought out and left sitting on the counter while the attendant very very slowly added cold items to a cooling meal served on a cold plate.Service was therefore extremely slow and the food was cold by the time it was handed over. I had to send my meal back twice as it was cold both times. And unfortunately, we all got stomach ache after the meal. Not a coincidence I don't think.. I also felt that the food was over priced for what it was - I could have paid the same amount for a much better (and hotter) meal in a nearby bistro pub! This was supposed to be a birthday lunch and I thought it would be fun to try something different as it had been highly recommended.I will never visit again and certainly won't be recommending it to anyone else.

I have fond memories of visiting this burger bar when it was on Sir Simon's Arcade, many years ago. Since it closed, I've had to settle for the occasional drive up to Lancaster Uni to get my Wibbly Wobbly fix, so I was delighted to see it now has a new branch in New Street, Lancaster. We had lunch there on Saturday and it is as good as ever, with some interesting additions to the menu. Our burgers were delicious and excellent value. My only slight gripe would be that for £2.40 for a small glass, I would expect some ice in my freshly-squeezed orange juice. Friendly service and a nicely-decorated room with plenty of seating. Highly recommend.

Absolutely delicious burgers; all cooked to order with fresh ingredients and an array of sauces and side dishes. Great for vegetarians too, not just the obligatory mushed vegetable burger that you usually get with burger joints. At less than a fiver for a gourmet burger it was great value! highly recommended.

Been eating here for years - during Uni and then any time i'm visiting Lancaster. Great burgers with quality ingredients and great variety. I know people moan about the cost - but the real question isn't why good stuff is so expensive, its why the high street big name places are so cheap. You get what you pay for and the quality in WW speaks for itself. The only downside is that i can't all the things i want to! :)

The burgers are divine, no question. But for the price you'd expect some level of service. Or even a glass for your drink. The ice cream was a tiny tub and a huge disappointment. In fairness, the chef was very friendly and was keen to make recommendations on extras for the burgers.

Went there for a quick lunch, and I can honestly say it was one of the best grilled chicken burgers I ever had, not only in Lancaster (as I didn't have many there) but anywhere. The chicken was properly grilled and marinated. You get to choose your toppings when your burger is ready. The cheesy onion rings were good too. Also, it was reasonably priced.Great place.

Started uni a month a go and this place is very close to where I live (2 minute walk from Pendle College) and I have been twice - once with a friend and once with my boyfriend. Both times it didn't disappoint! The staff are all lovely and the guy who seems to be the manager is hilarious and there is a lovely staff atmosphere between them. The first time I went, I had the mexican burger and my boyfriend had the duck burger - both very much enjoyed and interesting choices you don't see anywhere else! The second time my friend and I both had the same - double chicken breast burger with cheese and bacon, it was huge!Only complaints is that all the tables are for 6/8 people, meaning that there are only a few tables in the whole place, so the first time I went we had to sit on the breakfast bar near the door which was a bit drafty. Also the fact that you have to order at the desk then go back to collect your food makes it more of a fast-food joint than a burger bar, but when you're spending £10 on a burger and a can of Coke as a student you kind of expect a little bit more - but no complaints as staff and food lovely!

We have had a few orders from this place and some have been good but I do not like mayonnaise and they cannot seem to follow a simple instruction to remove it. Tonight's order not only had mayonnaise on it but the burgers were revolting and undercooked and the chips were just soaking in fat. We managed to get a partial refund through Deliveroo but I doubt we will ever order again.

Great little pub, cheap beer, friendly staff and a real 'heart of the community' feel. Food is ok but it isn't a gastro pub so couldn't complain. Will be seeing Trish and the gang again soon shortly.

Came in last Friday to celebrate my own and my friends birthday with a bottomless brunch. I was so impressed with not only the value but the quality of the food and drinks alongside the amazing service recieved from all staff members. It's worth mentioning that at the moment they are offering half price Fridays which makes all food and drink half price - which is an insane deal! Really fun atmosphere - great mix of people. Will be back very soon! X
