We arrived 5 minutes after the breakfast menu finished but the staff were great and said we could still order breakfast. Lovely food, good value for money and great staff. Will definitely return :)

Last night a group of friends from our bookclub visited Whitemills Wake for a Christmas Meal. Food was fantastic, staff were lovely. They catered for us all including a vegetarian and gluten free. A lovely evening.. defiantly would recommend.

Simply the best Christmas dinner ever.The food was superb and wonderfully presented.Staff were outstanding.Thankyou all.

Went for a full English with my son, nice coffee, good quality sausages and bacon, well cooked eggs. But they let me down on the black pudding, really undercooked and flabby, as for the beans, obviously a lower quality in taste, so much juice struggled to find the few beans in it!

My family and I frequently visit the restaurant . Haven’t got a bad thing to say! Friendly staff, nice location, great food. Highly recommend the chicken burger and breakfasts !

It was our first visit tonight , but unfortunately despite us going with high hopes we were very disappointed. We arrived early evening for drinks, there was a long queue at the bar which meant we had to queue outside with only one young lady serving so we had quite a long wait. By the time we actually got to the bar we noticed there were some tasty looking sausage rolls, large cookies and a few pastries on the bar which were completely uncovered!! It was a real Shame as they look very appetising but with all the customers breathing and leaning over them it was a complete turn off!! Surely they should be covered even more so in the warmer months with flies etc hovering over them!! We did wonder if they were there purely for show and there were others in a fridge or undercover elsewhere but this wasn’t the case!!

Visited for the 2nd time for breakfast today and must say how different from our first visit. Couldn’t fault our first visit but left today disappointed and feeling that we won’t be returning. They were only 3 other customers in the cafe, yet we had to wait ages for the food to come out. Order a vegetarian breakfast and omelette. My wife’s brekkie came out first and mine then followed about 5-10 mins later. The most bland omelette eat Shane I have ever tasted. Priced at nearly £10 I expected so much better. Real shame as it’s such a great facility in Sandwich. May just off be a bad day for the chef but expect a lot better for £24.

We went to try the food and it was delicious food was extremely hot views out to the lake were beautiful ideal for the kids if they wanted to have some fun in the water staff are so helpful and polite
