White Horse in New Forest

Very nice and cosy pub. Food was nice and staff very courteous.

Absolutley delicious and cooked to perfection, yummy crunchy pork crackling 😋. Plenty of vegetables, friendly atmosphere 👌😊 highly recommend.

Very well made food and as I asked for no mushrooms they gave me no mushrooms the waiters / bar woman were very polite and gave me a little chuckle. All around an amazing afternoon.

Welcome to Marchwood its not time but we will not serve anyone (other then those already in the bar) at 10.30 🤔 what time is time ? I have lived in Marchwood 16 years not often a visitor of the white horse but clearly if your face isn’t recognised before last orders forget it .. or maybe forget it in general.. quite rude really When I called back after I left, apparent last orders is 11.50 but no one can enter after 10.30 when I asked why I was hung up on … amazing they survive with such poor customer service thank god for the pilgrim and dare I say the roebuck yep the roebuck do indeed want your business and have superior customer service !! I do feel I was discriminated because I was a woman alone looking to have a drink on her way home !! Well done you the white horse I’m glad you don’t need any new customers …

Nice local pub, 2 hand pumps usually Timothy Taylor's Landlord or Fuller's London pride. Pool table and spots TV.

Pleasant pub with a good friendly vibe

This place is one of my favourites within the New Forest and Southampton area. The bar staff are amazing and welcoming. Always ready for a chat and a dance to the live bands they have on regularly. Dogs are welcome and always loved x the ladies are absolutely amazing here.

Great choice of beers nice wee country bar in marchwood. Has a small play area as well good for the kids. Staff are very friendly.

Lovely Roast, great value for money.

Great local pub. No problems at all in years and years of going there. Sport, music, pool, darts and great beer. What more do you need from your local.

Nice village pub with good staff

This is a great pub and very friendly. Called in looking for info on local buses and staff and customers were lovely, looking up bus times for us while we had a beer! We'll make sure we go back next time we're in the area.

After a few years away, went to visit this pub, to meet some old pals. Fantastic welcome from the staff, nice beer too.

Back in the 70s a military pub, strictly men in the public officers in the saloon. As civvy staff I could visit either side. Back then a Whitbread pub with Romsey Trophy (ex-Strongs). Hope this bit of history is interesting.

Popped in for a quick lunch. Menu is quite limited but offers some home cooked offerings. Could do with more veggie options - maybe a chilli? I had homemade vegetable soup which was superb.
