Fabulous food and excellent service.

We made a reservation for 6 in February and received a 'couldn't really care less' call cancelling our reservation 3 days before we were due to visit. Shabby. Won't be going back.

Food was great, service excellent and the views are spectacular!

Very lovely pub not enough staff though, brought back s lot of lovely memories when I lived at Netherfield and of my nan rip , very clean food looked nice

Had lunch today Sunday and the mussels for starter smelled awful, one even had the beard on. The messe starter with humus looked dry and old, green olives tasteless. The seabass was £22 for a 5 cms slice. We felt Ripped off! We have been there before and we're surprised at today's food. Just the views and drinks were as good as ever.

Had an amazing Sunday lunch today, food excellent, staff polite, considerate and very attentive. My partner and I eat out most Sundays and we both agreed this was the BEST roast we had ever had...thank you we will definitely be returning 👍

Just popped in for a quick pint bar staff for a lovely very nice quaint little pub that I am sure I will visit again.

We went for a Sunday roast and the food was incredibly tasty. The best Roast Beef I have tasted. The chicken and lamb were also very nice. Location is veautiful and staff are very friendly.

Delicious food in a lovely pub with a wonderful view. I took a walk up from beech estate campsite and it was a really nice walk through the woods. I felt like I earned my pint! The staff are lovely, very friendly and helpful with recommendations. 10/10 would definitely come back if I'm in the area. I highly recommend the homemade sasuage roll from the bar menu if you don't want a full meal.

Very nice place.but expensive drinks .l used to use it a lot. But it is now exclusive.

Had a special family event in the outside room and everything was fantastic. Service, food, views, facilities. My son did mention that there were no baby changing facilities in the men's loo. Everything else was perfect. Didn't stay in the hotel.

Nothing can better those amazing views! Luckily the food is always excellent and the staff top-notch. Sitting out on their terrace on a summer's evening is one of the best experiences you can get in this area- views over forest and hills down to the coast and the South Downs ❤️🤩

Uitstekend restaurant met zonnig terras dat uitziet over de heuvels. Het eten is erg goed. Attente bediening. Een perfect ontbijt wordt verzorgd door het er tegenover liggende postkantoor/theehuis/winkeltje.

The restaurant was rather noisy for those of us with older ears. The sound system loudspeakers were turned up too high.

It's a wonderful place, great view, taste food and best service .

Good food, great service. Going again next Sunday to sample the roasts. Today, our first visit, was the last day of their Sunday BBQ/grill offering. Very tasty and the service was just right with a great front of house member of staff.

Lovely food and very good service

A wonderful meal and location with great staff which was perfect in every way. The meal was so tasty and everyone in our 22 birthday group enjoyed themselves. Excellent value for money.

Gastro pub. Limited menu so easy to pick although quite limited for vegetarians. Always high quality and delicious meals. Great cocktails and virgin cocktails for the driver. Beautiful setting. Highly recommended

We stayed in a big room with a stunning view across the hills to the sea. Very well equipped. Friendly and helpful staff. Dinner also excellent with the chef creating a special vegan option for us. Highly recommended
