Massive thank you, the service, the food was unmatched! Really hard to find the perfect place for an Indian but this is by far our favourite!

Visited this restaurant when staying in Bexhill for a few days. Food was excellent as was the service.

The best Indian food restaurant in Bexhill by far! I tried it while I was visiting from California and was pleasantly surprised with how good it was..They have a variety of different meals to try and the quality was great all around.. The service was also great and the owners are super friendly and welcoming.. highly recommend! 👍

Perhaps the best Bengali Indian restaurant in the world. It doesn't matter that you order everything, it's beautiful. The service is fast and the place is very cozy next to the sea in Bexhill. The opportunity to enjoy it cannot be missed if one is in Bexhill. It is a must.

Review of sit in meal. Food was good. For the first 40 minutes there there was a lot of loud talking between staff that drowned out the background music and ambiance. They eventually stopped or reduced and the music was turned up. The music was then too loud. I gave a tip of just under 29 percent handing it with the meal payment and the person took it without thanks and walked away quickly and there was no thanks or goodbye or anything when I left. I was put out by this do I just hung in the doorway until I got a quick hand up of acknowledgement without words from the man I had given the money to. I am fully sure I had done nothing to upset anyone or deserve that treatment, and I was reasonably well dressed. Just don’t understand the rudeness.

I had a lovely time at the restaurant. Syed, the owner of the restaurant is lovely. He and his wife made me feel very comfortable and helped me navigate the menu. I had the Prawn biryani and the Nada chicken. Both dishes were lovely. It is quite spicy so watch yourself.

Best Indian I have had from around the world

Had a delivery last night and it was probably the worst curry I've had delivered in Bexhill. I had the tandoori mixed grill and it was the driest and most chewy meat. It didn't have much flavour to it either. The naan was okay. My partner had lamb chilli masala, the taste was okay but again chewy meat. Onion bhaji was good. Overall, very disappointing as we only ordered from here after reading good reviews.

I was very impressed with the quality of the curry I received. It was exactly what I was hoping for. Hope I will visit again Best restaurant in the East Sussex.

Ordered a takeaway from here on Friday. It was the best Indian takeaway we've had. Fresh, hot and fragrant! Not oily at all which we do find with a lot of takeaways. Really lovely! Great menu choice, great choice for the vegetarian that ordered too.

I ordered a couple of curries take away for me and my son!, I ordered a madras and my son will have the korma tommorow, truly this has to be one of the best flavoured and it’s very rare to find a curry that packs a extremely Spicy hit along side it. What a lovely meal I cannot thank you enough! Delicious, if you like spice and high quality seasoned food this place is for you, p.s try the tikka starter amazing!

I live locally and have been to several Indian restaurants here. However Mowgli stands out from the rest as the best of the best. So much so that I have now been several times, and each time superb. The food is absolutely fantastic and the service is second to none. You cant ask for more. The place is clean, tidy, organised and run very well. Advise from the service staff is abundant, and they know their Indian food. I am so impressed with this restaurant that I had to take my brother-in-law and his wife (all the way from Mauritius) to eat here, to enjoy the experience. Which they did! Would highly recommend.

Lovely food and beautiful location.

I've always just ordered from Hastings as nearer, but Mowgli came to my son's summer fete, and I tried their onion bajis. They were delicious, so I thought I'd try them next time I ordered a takeaway. I wasn't disappointed, by far the best food I've had around here 😋

Always consistently great tasting dishes!

Ordered a pint of cobra, it was flat, the onion bhaji was dry, not sure how many days they had been sitting but not pleasant at all. Rice portion was kid friendly. All in all, mediocre at best, staff came across as very abrupt, customer service was lousy. For what they are charging I’d expect fresh, well made food, the idea of going out and spending good money on what should be a culinary experience.

10/10 this restaurant is excellent. Always delivers on time or early and is always fresh and hot.

Delicious food, the best we’ve had in Bexhill. We ordered for 10 and everything was high quality. They even delivered the chips to our home which weren’t included when we collected the order.

Beautiful food. You can tell a lot of effort goes into the cooking. Curry is fresh with plenty of different ingredients. The mushroom rice is outstanding. The sides are perfect. Naan breads are light and fluffy. Great value as well. I drive a 1 hour round trip out of town because it’s always so nice. Thanks

Fast when ordered but very bland tasteless had to add salt.. And not very curry like.. Only five bits of chicken.. Poor..won't use again

Great food, however I’m not Paul Daniel’s, so sadly I’ll have to deduct some positive points for not marking the many dishes we ordered, whereby trying to work out what dish was what was a mission !

I visited Mowgli Bexhill last night for a work night out, there were 10 of us in total and we were all extremely impressed with the service and the staff. The food was absolutely delicious and probably one of the best curry dishes I have had locally. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for great service and great food.

First time at Mowgli's last night. We had a large table and were catered to the moment we walked in. It was brilliant service, all the staff were extremely friendly and the food was delicious! Lovely décor and a great atmosphere. I will definitely be returning with friends. Thank you again.

Tonight was our first Visit to Mowgli in Bexhill. The Indian cuisine, Service and Staff were all 10/10. The food was amazing and their chef is top class. We also spoke to the owner and he is really really nice guy. This may have been our first visit but certainly not our last. .

The food was great, the goats cheese and mozzarella samosas are not a combination I’ve encountered before but they were absolutely delicious. The delivery guy was friendly and made it out to us despite the rain. Will definitely be ordering again.

Best curry i have had for a while.

Wow! Tried Mowgli for the first time having ordered from the same curry place for years and was not disappointed. Really generous portions, great quality. We got the meal for 2 and it fed us for nearly three days. Really friendly delivery driver too. Will definitely order again. Great job guys thank you!

Lucky for me to have Mowgli as my closest curry house. The food is so nice as is the efficient service and warm welcome in a great atmosphere. Draught Cobra and good house wines too.

Absolutely Fantastic Tasty Food 😊👍....... this was the best ever curry i have ever eaten, wonderful blend of spices. From the starter, side dish, main curry, naan bread, all was cooked to perfection. The restaurant edited their response so I will edit my review. I would not use them again for a takeaway myself, maybe they were having a bad day. Food was good though.

Thought I would give these guys another chance, food hasn’t arrived, even though just eat says it has. 40 minutes after it was apparently on the way for a 3 mile journey. Rang restaurant, spoke to a very aggressive person, He basically said do you want the food or not. Said food would be with us in 10 minutes,

Disappointing. Arrived cold, in plastic containers so had to be put into oven dishes with foil on top to put into oven to heat up. Extremely salty and not that nice, half of it was left. Will not order again.

Gods food delivered before time

Love Mowgli, great food and service..... Was a tad 'rowdy' when we first sat down but once that table left returned to the usual lovely ambience..... I'm recommending!

Ordered for a delivery, they took near enough 2 hours to deliver our food, when we rang the first time after an hour they said they was on the way, 45 minutes later it was still not here even though the restaurant is 5 minutes away in a car, We rang again and then they said they was definitely on the way, 15 minutes later the guy turns up, no apology for the wait, no discount or extra dish, absolutely outrageous.

Hands down best Indian food in Bexhill

We’ve been to this wonderful restaurant about 10 times now, sorry we haven’t posted a review till now! Put simply, it’s a cut above. Every dish is bursting with flavour and thoughtfully put together. We had tandoori scallops, samosas, crab masala, lamb shank, lamb tikka premium, aubergine with mozzarella, lime rice - all absolutely incredible. Love the way they use & present seafood. Staff are very good, the owner is charming, and today we met his fabulous wife for the first time, who was great to chat with. Highly, highly recommended 👌👌👌

What a place. I went there alone and didn’t feel out of place. The seafood was out of this world and the service spot on. Definitely one of the best Indians outside India snd Pakistan! Give it a go!

Disgusting. Sheek kebab fell apart tasted awful. The king prawn biriyani for £16 should of read bits of king prawn. The lamb was still in the field not in the lamb balti Just eat have rufused a partial refund absolutely shocking. Do not order from here

Mowgli is my favourite Indian restaurant ever. We are welcomed like old friends and the service is gentle, warm and friendly. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is relaxed. Make sure you're hungry when you go ... And it's only a few yards from the seafront if you need a stroll afterwards!
