Stayed for one night. It is nice and clean. Room was good. It is an old building and I was woken up by the creaky floorboards upstairs when a guest returned late. Not ideal but nothing they can do about it. Parking was not great, mostly tight spaces.

Just come back from an over night stay here. It was really lovely my partner booked us a night away in Harrogate which we’ve fully enjoyed. We will be back and will stay here again, all the staff are extremely polite the rooms and the whole place is extremely clean. The rooms are Morden and have everything you need to offer in them. The room at first was a little smaller than I expected but we wasn’t in the room at all until we got back late from going out so I realised why do we need a massive room anyway silly really as it there was enough space and we was impressed with everything in their. Breakfast was so good , you help yourself but it was very fresh and really tasty, the gentleman that served us our drinks at breakfast was very well mannered and lovely. They offer a secure car park, you do have to pay but my partner thought the price of £15 over night was brilliant. It is a pretty place with lovely decor but most importantly extremely clean everywhere. We are most certainly going to be coming back as we loved our time in Harrogate and the hotel was central and perfect. Thank you

This is a wonderful location only a couple of minutes from the centre. Staff here were very friendly and attentive. My only small issues were shower was a little lacklustre and more choice of coffee an milk in the rooms... but overall I will definately be back as its great value for money.

This hotel is really well placed for the town centre and local eateries. The staff were all very friendly and the bed was comfy. Breakfast was available and cheaper if booked on arrival rather than at the time of eating. It was the typical buffet, but nothing was congealed, and it was all perfectly cooked. We didn't get to eat dinner there, having had a late lunch in the adjoining Fat Badger, but the dining room had created an inviting, warm, intimate vibe The bedroom was small, which was fine for 1 night but it had nowhere to unpack suitcases for a longer stay. However the bed and bedding were super-comfortable and we didn't hear any outside noises so we slept well

Stayed at the White Hart on a recent business trip, enjoyed a great stay. The rooms are verging on tired, but the location and restaurant are unbeatable.

Called in on Monday 29th January to get out of the torrential rain. The atmosphere was warm and friendly, service was informed and attentive. My food of choice was Shepherds Pie, absolutely fantastic, good portion, tasty, filling and definitely worth the £19.50. This used to be my place of choice when I lived in Harrogate, this visit made me think that I should visit more often. Cheers Team Badger

I visited for the Mother’s Day, afternoon tea experience, on Sunday (30th 2025). This was a pre-paid experience, including a glass of Prosecco on arrival (£40 pp, which is on par with Betty’s of Harrogate prices). Held in the private dining setting, The Barrows was lovely. The young woman who came to greet us was warm and friendly, but on her own. With no one else serving, it was very apparent that she was under pressure. There were 8 tables (some with 4 people on), all seated at same time. She did her best, but there was no time for niceties. She served the tea and coffee in hot jugs, with no choice of a specialty coffee, like americano, cappuccino, and no tea pots, for a proper cup of tea. Really poor for the price we had paid!. Another girl later appeared, to help bring out the sandwich/cake bird cages. This was put down in-front of us, with a quick run down on just the sandwiches, (nothing about the miniature, 2cm width cake bites) in a very rushed and quiet voice, which my mum couldn’t hear. She then rushed off to serve the next table. No offer of any more drinks, or anything that we might have needed. The food was ‘OK’, some of the sandwiches lacked taste. Overall a poor experience which came down to poor management decisions (with staffing levels) charging drastically, inflated prices, for a poor quality experience.
