Slow service and one person cut in front of me. Would give zero stars if I could. Went to Costa Coffee down the road where I received great service.

Been here for the first time , despite being busy Sophie recommended new Colombian coffee which was great and ordered white chocolate mocha and she really made it well as I like it.

We enjoyed a lovely coffee, tea and a cake. Cold day, found air conditioning in some areas was a bit cold for comfort.

Great coffee taste at the right temperature in a fabulous building in a great location, nice sofas and chairs.

I got served quickly and efficiently did not even have to ask what i wanted they knew just got asked what blend of coffee I wanted. My food was served quickly to even though it was busy.

It was busy - very busy. Only 2 trainee baristas serving...I only called in for some beans - queued for over 15 minutes....

A good example of the brand. Lovely staff. Shame about the noisy barrista machine. It was clearly making life hard for the staff. But they coped excellently.

Called in a couple of times during my holiday in Yorkshire. I'm able to take my dog with me into Caffè Nero, so I always try my best to find one when I am away from home. Lovely staff, helped me to my table with my food and drink, as I had my hands full with shopping and aforementioned pooch, fresh water too. Good job all round.

Great food & Service. However this is more of a Dog Kennel than Coffee Shop. All can hear is Dogs barking…! Should be renamed as Dog Nero…!

Just stopped for a coffee, it's was quite dirty allover just grubby ,first time I been to a Nero, will not go again.

The lady staff apologised for losing the shape of the cheese cake. We totally didn’t mind it. But she gave us the free drink ticket which can be used for next visit. I really liked the blueberry cheese cake that’s was super nice and delicious :)

Called in today during our first visit for ages to Ripon. We received a lovely, friendly welcome from the staff. The service was great and the coffee hot and tasty ( as usual) Highly recommend

Always a warm welcome here, we call often, not massively over priced and always a great cup of coffee! Winner for Me.

This branch of Caffe Nero recently doubled in size, having taken over the premises of Leeds Building Soc. Friendly staff and decent coffee, an enviable position overlooking the market square. Books available to read. A little outside space on the pavement if you can grab it. Go for it.

Trying to have a brew at 1705 and they are literally using the Vac under your feet. Tables still need cleaning around the area but they are choosing to vac around feet and under chairs while multiple people are trying to have a coffee.

Not great service today but gained a star because they let dogs in this branch

Ripon Branch of Cafe Nero efficiently run by Smiley Friendly Manageress.

I've been a customer of Nero for many years as they produce consistently, by far the best quality espresso based coffee of all the chain places. Sadly though their shops continue to become gradually worse each time I visit. This one in Ripon is looking very tired although I do believe it is about to get a long overdue refurb. In addition the cakes in this particular shop were quite stale and bland which was the same as a recent experience in the York branch.

We stopped to get a frappe asked the girl if I can have a chocolate one ,looked at me like I was asking her to give me her wages ,took her 15 minutes or more to do my drink and then when the drink was ready she past me this cup with the frappe but no cream or anything that the pictures showed 🙃 then she had to look at the pictures that show how to make one ,absolutely disgusting service ,all staff needs customers service training as the both girls looked miserable and they don't know how to be polite and have a smile when you deal with customers

Coffee was horrible. Staff seemed more interested in themselves than the customer. One colleague spilt scalding milk all over the bar and they just carried on around it. Doesn't say much for the health and safety and in doing the food safety won't be much better. Much better independent coffee shops in ripon. Caffè Nero can go

Young gentleman serving meals with denim jacket and Jean's on picked up 2 plates from the hatch then sneezed over food hence he put back down the plates wiped his nose on a tissue then continued to serve the 2 plates of food no washing of hands or sanitizing I felt sick I think extra hygiene training needed .

Love Cafe Nero coffee. Like to sit and people watch but only in a comfy chair. All Cafe Nero's except for Yarm are disappointingly filthy places particularly in the toilets, the loo in the one in Vanguard (within Next) was disgraceful but as I said earlier, same across all the shops. It is my belief that Cafe Nero do not employ cleaning staff, expecting their waiting staff to do the job. This is not acceptable to me. As much as I love their coffee and staff, who I must say are always pleasant, they really do need to seriously up their game re the cleanliness not only of the toilets but the floors, walls, furniture etc etc

Great visit as usual. Only slight disappointment was that this particular site didn't have the vegan sausage roll we wanted to try. Apparently not all vegan foods are available in all of the cafe's. Otherwise everything was very good.

My mum & I visited Caffe Nero, Ripon, today Saturday the 11th of January (2020). The service was excellent, the coffee wonderful and the toilets were spotless. The 2 girls serving behind the counter were very friendly.

Great place for a cappuccino after a bit of shopping.

I have never taken to Nero coffee, i find that the coffe is on the bitter side, and for me the cups are a bit too big.

Whilst I thoroughly enjoyed the experience within this particular outlet whilst having a lovely Cup of Cappuccino and a toasted Pannetone..... How small is the seating area?? It felt so cramped unfortunately for me and being able to find a seat where you didn't have to navigate tables too close together was a premium.... For someone who's not as agile on my feet as I used to be I bumped into at least 2 tables trying to make my way through to a comfortable seat......

I really like this Nero, quite cosy, the staff are very helpful, friendly and professional. I've recently swapped from Costa to Nero as the Coffee is much nicer here.

Good coffee, friendly service. Little care for ensuring that there are napkins and toilet paper available. Other than that all good.

All the chains of coffee shops are much of a muchness, ie uncomfortable, expensive, ridiculously busy, humdrum. This one is no different! Some of the coffee served is worse than others. This one is passable. Maybe I am hard to please!

Great coffee as usual. Not busy when I was here so staff appeared to be on top of things although a smile would have been nice! Served promptly though and no complaints. Update January 2019: Coffee is as good as always and staff although changed since last I was here, are just as friendly and welcoming (with a smile this time around!). A nice place to watch the world go by for a few minutes. Always feels relaxing here.

Normally i love Caffe Nero for hot drinks. But i went in for a iced coffe they didnt have the advertised one that drew me in. The coffee it self wasnt great either.
