I've not been here before, but popped in on spec on a Saturday afternoon as I was waiting for a friend and it looked nice from the outside. It's a fairly large, smart, traditional pub with a spacious garden. Atmosphere looked convivial and I was served by a lovely, friendly bar lady. The pint of Harvey's mild I had wasn't in great condition; I should have got it changed but didn't want to make a fuss as a first time visitor. I'm sure, had I said something, this would have been seen to but to be honest it was the very loud music which put me off. The landlady, I think, was playing club type music at a deafening volume via a disco console in the corner of the bar. This seemed quite out of place for an afternoon. Usually on a Saturday PM, people like to catch up and chat, over a few beers, a bit of sport perhaps. Conversation would have been near impossible.

Had a fantastic evening watching the Comedy Elvis Show. The drinks are a good price and the food was great value. The staff are very friendly and welcoming - will definitely return 😊

Popped in for a couple of drinks before our meal (somewhere else) and even though really busy we got served quick and drinks were good and the service was excellent. A proper local’s pub and even though we just popped in as we are staying at Gatwick before our hols they make you feel welcome.

Friday 26th April and we visited this pub for the first time although we had stayed in Crawley on numerous occasions It was not our intention to come here but as the Wetherspoons across was really full and no seating was available. We ventured into the smaller, quieter and less busy section of the pub. There were a number of colourful characters, which we assumed to be locals, that added to the ambience. It had the feel of a traditional pub and the bar staff were friendly. We did enjoy it here so we stayed longer than anticipated and had a few more drinks Yes it was more expensive than "Spoons" almost twice the price, it was worth it to sit in comfort, clean surroundings and enjoy our drinks without being deafened by noise.

Me and my husband popped in here for one drink. A young girl that served us didn't look very happy. She didn't smile or even say hello. After she served us she went to the other end of the bar and continued serving the other customers. I see her stick her 2 fingers up at a customer! I was shocked with what I saw. She has long hair which was tied back with a clip and was wearing a matchin coloured top and shorts. She was very rude. I have only been in here twice and I will not set foot in this pub ever again because of the bad behaviour from this girl. It doesn't matter if the customer is or not a friend of hers you do not stick your fingers up at customers!!!

Excellent service very friendly staff. It’s now our best Friday night music spot . Djs are accommodative with a variety of music The best place for Motown and Northern Soul on the high street I think. You have to check it out to believe it!

I was recommended this place by a bud of mine and so decided to pay a visit. Was very disappointed to find rude staff and a poor quality of service. No wonder why half the bookings for the tables around me did not show up.

Popped in for a quick lunch as a friend had pre-booked a table. All the staff and locals were very friendly. There were good Covid measures in place which was reassuring. I ordered scampi and chips and it was very tasty and an enormous portion. Whoever cooked that - thank you and well done.

Booked a table for me and my boyfriend on a rainy, cold Wednesday afternoon.. from the second we arrived the lovely Jo was so welcoming!! Drinks were literally brought to the table as we sat.. Jo came and cleaned the table twice! She brought me a hot water bottle without me even asking! She’s literally a ray of sunshine! What an asset to the team! I’ve never received such beautiful service in “just a pub” she’s so caring! I was given not one, but two blankets.. thank you so much Jo! After working as a waitress for 70 hours over the past 6 days it was lovely to be looked after so well on our well earned day off! Thank you so much x

Lovely building in a very good state, inside and out. Friendly staff, pub owned by Harvey’s which is the only downside, no guest beers But I could more or less live on Harvey’s all day so not a problem for me. Happy to visit again

Looks proper traditional... inside this is a real pub. Proper old layout and service. I visited 5 times mid weeks. If you want music this works... but you will have to overuse the locals who have the juke box in their pockets... and bar service... new in here?? You will be ok if you understand... watched many groups come in and change their mind. Probably correctly... this is an introverted pub. Come along and break-in... I did and the bar staff are proper nice. Serve you in the correct order. White Hart you need an identity and currently it's confusing. Switch off the music or the footy... or seperate it from karaoke. No had the food.

This was our first pub visit in Crawley on Saturday and first impressions were a bit concerning as a bunch of away fans turned up showing and swearing. Didn't take long for the ladies at the White Hart to deal with them in a very efficient manner! So, we stayed and glad we did. We were at the Hawyth Theatre in the evening and visited this pub 3 times as the atmosphere kept us going back, even after our evening at the Theatre. One of the ladies behind the bar booked us a taxi to get us to the Theatre which was a nice touch. The landlady knows her stuff as enjoyed chatting to her later in the evening after the Theatre. Should we ever go back to Crawley for the weekend, this would be a definite visit for us. Such lovely people

We were a party of 8 and all ordered lunch which was very nice but the gaps between meals being given out was quite large resulting in some finishing before my nieces dinner arrived she only ask for eggs chips and pea's. It was disappointing. The food was lovely though. I think more staff would help.

Formerly a coaching inn built in the late 18th century on the site of an older inn also under the sign of the White Hart, this pub housed in a Grade 2 Listed building & proclaimed by brewers Harveys of Lewes to be their busiest pub that they own & is a very friendly oasis in the 21st century largely due to the dynamic landlady Tanya & her very capable friendly bar staff who alwys greet visitors with a very warm welcome ! Simply the best in town for a wide choice of Real Ales, great Food Menu & music lovers are spoiled for choice with live music, karaoke & Saturday themed discos . Sports fans are catered for with TV coverage both inside & outside on the flagstoned patio. What ever the reason for your visit you will thouroghly enjoy this fine old inn!

Socially friendly, pleasantly (although redtricted) local ale provided, enjoyable and properly staffed pub. They take into account your person, alchohol consumption characteristics & post work/sociable drinking norms (dehydration) to adequately serve you (or not); if need be also pleasantly adjust your attitude [ :-) ] and by this I always happily revisit :-) Tops :-)

Now for the youngsters this is what a pub used to be like ( apart from the smoke), no pretentious idiots just people wanting to have a beer or two at reasonable prices.

Traditional Harvey's pub in a historical building in the very centre of Crawley. Food is served all day, traditional English pub fare. The gammon steak with eggs and chips I had was just fine. Several Harvey's cask ales on tap, and a few bottles. Friendly staff, fast service.

There was rubbish on floor like crisps, Normally it would be a good idea that when the tables are cleared and there is stuff on the floor it should be swept at the same timthe tables are cleared Dish washer still not working so customers were served with a cup and no saucer and a teapot

The best café in Crawley. Staff are friendly and helpful. Their cheese omelette is superb and the best I've had anywhere. Wide range of other breakfasts and lunches. This is my go-to café and I'm never disappointed. Very popular with locals. Highly recommended!

I'm a regular here, but don't let that put you off my recommendation. This place is now open 24 hours which is great when you finish work at around 00.30 and need some good grub. The Scooby Burger is the one to go for if your hungry (you won't be hungry afterwards) at £8 it's a bit steep but good for what you get. Recommended defo

Staff very friendly and knowledgeable about dietary requirements. Fantastic service. They can’t help the design but I wish there was an outside window. Also, more gluten free food options would be fantastic. Remember - anyone can eat gluten free stuff, but for those who have to avoid gluten, our choices are limited to just ‘safe’ foods.
