We were staying at the Warbrook House Hotel which is almost opposite. Food wasn't great at the hotel so ventured out for lunch (a 5 minute walk). As soon as we walked in we were made to feel welcome, the pub was fairly quiet but there was music playing, my husband and I had a great game of 'spot the intro' of all the 80's/90's songs! My husband had Steak & Ale pie and I had 2 starters including the Brie Wedges, all the food was cooked to perfection. We then had Sticky Toffee pudding for dessert. We will definitely visit again when passing. Thank you for the amazing food and a lovely couple of hours. :)

I love this pub, would go so far as saying we are a regular on a Friday. Tonight I was charged £13.20 for medium rose wine and pint of Timothy Taylor’s .. sad to say that is London prices… time for a rethink..!?

Once again was not let down with the food that we had this evening, good variety on the menu, ingredients are fresh and local products, great tasting and well presented. Staff are helpful and friendly. Beautiful traditional local pub. Certainly worth visiting even if it’s just for a pint. Good variety of beers available.

Just had a fantastic meal at The White Hart. The fish tacos, monkfish pea and asparagus risotto, and chicken burger were absolutely delicious full of flavour using fresh ingredients. Portion sizes were generous. Will definitely return when we are next in the area.

We were lucky enough to enjoy "Fish Friday" yesterday. Sadly, I forgot to take any pics of the amazing food. Monk fish wrapped in parma ham & also Dover sole stuffed with crab and prawn ... absolutely delicious!! Today, we have enjoyed the crispy fish tacos ... I have tried most things on the menu here, these are by far at the very top of my favourites ... crispy, comforting, slightly spicy, amazing Salsa and totally out of this world These will definitely be my "go to" when I am next here (probably tomorrow!) For the record ... I do cook on occasions 😁

Yesterday I attended the White Hart in Eversley for the first time. My friend took me along as had heard good recommendations and WOW it did not disappoint. As a vegetarian it's hard sometimes to find a place that does a good range of choices in starters and mains, as it's usually just mushroom (which I hate). At the White Hart the menu was honestly amazing. Simple, not over complicated but had delicious choices. I went for the Bang bang cauliflower bao bun for starter and the Aromatic vegetable burger with fries for my main. The food was cooked fresh to order, came out quickly and tasted amazing. It was that good we forgot to take pictures as we where enjoying it so much. Lastly we finished off with a desert and coffee and that was equally amazing, the size of the sticky toffee pudding was massively generous and was one of the best I have tasted. (Did remember a pic of this one😅) Also to note, not only was the food amazing, but the management were so friendly and welcoming and made you feel at home. This was equally said for the chatting and welcoming regulars and of course dogs. The atmosphere was so relaxed, the pub itself was lovely inside and very clean. I will definitely be revisiting and bringing my family and friends along. Can't wait to sit in the lovely garden as the weather gets warmer. 10's all round from me!

Food was ok and the service was good and very welcoming however for the price the portions were not big enough, I had abut 4 pieces of monkfish in my curry which were small and my boy had the Adult burger and chips and was still hungry after as was my wife who had the mussels.. That said the staff were very friendly as well as the regulars just a bit of a let down with the food.

We thought we would try this pub as it was local. Very disappointing. Whilst it is a traditional looking pub, there is no atmosphere, it was a bit like eating in a library. The food was very greasy, with very over salted chips. We had a beef and chicken burger in a very small bun. No veg or salad. The food was very over priced for what we had. Sadly, we will not be returning or recommend.

Sat having a glass of wine and noticed a lot of small flies. Ignored them and 15 mins later I found 3 in my glass. This was replaced by staff but apart from apologising there was no welcoming to 2 ladies as the tables were cleaned as we were sitting down. We ordered 2 burgers as selection was poor and this took over half an hour to come. During this time my friend had a glass of wine which after a while had flies in it. We ended up putting serviettes over the glasses. Considering this was our first visit there we certainly will not be re-visiting and the food photos on the website were certainly not on our menu.

We came to this town today as we are looking to move to the area and came across this pub with two cars in the carpark and decided to have some lunch and a drink. As we got out of the car I said to my fiancé, let’s have a quick look at the house for sale next door. As we were headed in that direction an old lady appeared from the white hart and started yelling at us. I tried to explain that we will be back in less than a minute and will have a drink and some lunch. In a bizarre sudden escalation a short man with a green t-shirt 3 sizes to small appeared and was enraged. We de-escalated the situation hopped in our car and went to the pub up the road. Which ironically was full…… I can see why. Odd pub with some bizarre characters, not worth the risk.

I was staying in the area for a course and had noticed that there was a pub very close by so decided to wander down early one evening. It turns out that it had been closed for some time and had in fact only recently opened a few days previous. First impressions were that of a nice little traditional village pub. Received a friendly welcome from the new landlord and ordered a pint. This is a dog friendly pub and overseen by Darcy, but if you grab a couple of dog treats from the bar you’ll have a friend for life. A couple of clean well kept ales, a couple of largers and the obligatory cider & Guinness. Unfortunately there was no food available as they were still getting things straightened out so a bag of crisps had to do but food is definitely planned on the horizon. Got talking to some super friendly locals and we ended the evening by draining the bar of all the good Rosé. A well attended quiz night was on the following night and it seems there are plans to have lots going on. I really enjoyed my evenings there and would be very happy if this was my local pub. I have family in the area so aim to get back some time in the not too distant future. Thanks and good luck with the new venture.

Better than expected...I have driven past this pub loads of times, did not go in because it look tired, run down and never looked open. However, popped in and it has new management and you can see the difference immediately. Clean, fresh and tidy. They should advertise out front about the nice beer garden at the rear, not huge, but nice. When we where there, there was various people with dogs. Some where on leads and others were not and it resulted in a dog fight, not serious, but not nice. I don't like the fact that (like most pubs), you have to walk through all the smokers to get to the garden. There are lots of signs in regards to hygiene in regards to Covid 19 and plenty of hand gel dotted around. It's a shame that some people just ignore the signs. There is a sign near the smoking area stating don't congregate, smokers were leaning and drinking and blocking the entrance to the garden and we had to squeeze past them. People also disregarded one of the seats in the smoking area which was clearly marked, not for use and people were sitting on it. I think if the landlords go to all this effort, then people should have the decency to follow the guidelines and if not, the landlords should say something. Would I go back again ? Yes, but I'd like to see some enforcement on what is trying to be done, so dropped a star for the points mentioned.

New management yet again, who give the impression they don’t seem that bothered with the place. Impressions aren’t helped by one half of the management couple usually hanging around the bar being drunk and irritating the customers. Myself and other female friends found it very uncomfortable, and we’re not really shrinking violets! Maybe it’s a case of hoping the next managers care about making the place more like the place this beautiful old pub could be?

I booked a table for dinner based on the reviews I’d read on-line, as I don’t know the area, and I was meeting up with friends I haven’t seen for over a year. I was disappointed when I walked in the entrance and was greeted by the smell from half full ashtrays by the door, and live football was being broadcast around the bar. I’m afraid this totally put me off and when my friends arrived I asked them to recommend somewhere nearby to eat, and we had a drink and left. I’m sorry the first impressions weren’t good enough to make me stay for food. I’m sure it’s a friendly local to many people, but sadly not the dining experience I’d hoped for.

There was nothing Vegan on the Menu, I told them I was Vegan and the chef came to speak to me. He offered to make me something off menu and he did. I was very happy with my marinated root veg salad with apple and hazelnuts, plus beetroot balsamic dressing.... But what really impressed was being told "If you come here again, call us in advance and we will make something Vegan especially for you, Chef says he can do something really good with a bit of warning"... Called in for a bite to eat as staying just up the road, lots of car parking space outside. Walked in and immediately welcomed and felt at home, staffed / served by three different and very polite ladies which is a pleasant change. Offered a sample to taste when asked what ciders were on draught which is a nice touch. Menu varied and whilst my original choice wasn't actually on the menu which is no fault of the establishment, I settled for safety and had the scampi and chips - choice of mushy or garden peas. Priced at £10 offered a very reasonable value. Cooked to order and piping hot with a range of sauces and condiments galore. This is now on my list of places to re-visit and explore the menu further.

We decided to try the White Hart again as it has new management so took some foreign friends. They enjoyed the history of the building but the attitude of staff was not welcoming when we walked in and the waiting staff could have been more attentive. The furnishings were dark and made the rooms look dingy. The chairs were not comfortable. The food was edible and my friends were not impressed. The only thing they liked was the obvious charm of the building. Such a shame as this pub some years ago was so nice to go to. Dogs are allowed and I show dogs but having a loose dog come and sit under the table and appearing unattended was not my idea of having lunch.

On asking we found it very much is dog friendly and if we had been more observant we would have noted that the sign outside makes a point of stating this. We had our lunch in the garden area. The menu is quite typical for a pub, burger, fish and chips, scampi, gammon etc but had a selection of vegetarian options and with the menu came a salad ingredients list that lets you create your own salad. My wife had the fish and chips and I had the burger. Both cooked very competently. Fish not oily and burger not over cooked. Portions were generous. Staff were friendly. This pub is definitely on my return visit list.

I had so often meant to stop and try this pub and finally did over the August bank holiday weekend. The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming and it is a lovely traditional English pub. The service was good and friendly. I had scampi and chips and my wife ham egg and chips - both were good value and and a good meal. It was family friendly with a pile of games in the corner. There is also a garden at the back and easy parking at the side. The price was reasonable and the London Pride beer very good.

What a find! Stopped here for lunch after a morning walk in the local area. Plenty of parking spaces available. The pub is old style - clean and tidy, with a very nice garden and patio area, it is also dog friendly with water bowls easily accessible and dog treats available at the bar! The landlord and staff were all very friendly and welcoming - very impressed that the landlord remembered our names when bringing out our lunches! The food was very good, ranging from baguettes to 'choose your own salad' and traditional pub food, there were also gluten free options available. The cider was particularly good, made in the Malvern's. Coffee came with top ups which was much appreciated! Worth a visit

Recently visited this charming pub. Old style establishment with beams with traditional fire place. Lovely beer garden. The landlord and his family are really friendly. This is only the start of the welcome. Two perfectly behaved dogs sidled up for a cuddle and a stroke without being overbearing like my own pooch can be.

Enjoyed, as spectators, a great game of darts! Which was exactly the type of place we were looking for! It is family owned and enjoyed meeting the owner and his daughter and their dog Fletch!

Took my fussy 86 yo mum here. Mum knows all the things she can't eat!! Off menu fish provided and beautifully cooked in this typical English pub. New management very helpful and deserves a recommend as the surroundings are great.

Delightful old place massively improved after change of landlord: now good beers, limited but good menu and all done by staff with a friendly and professional attitude. Now run by a family who seem happy in their much changed situation and are well suited to this small business. In a age of pubs declining this most refreshing and my family wish them ll with wecontinued success.

Now under new management, mine hosts are very welcoming and the pub is now very clean and welcoming. There is a fine range of beers available as well as the usual range of other drinks. The bar menu is varied and the food of good quality and reasonably priced. Dogs are welcome and the garden is looking good for the warmer weather, Well worth a visit.

Wonderful welcome. Dogs welcome. Good old fashioned pub food. We were made to feel so welcome at this pub. Just what an old English pub should be. Spent a lovely afternoon will defiantly be back.

We went to their first gourmet event with some friends and had a fantastic evening. We had a warm welcome and shown to our table. The first course was a scotch egg which was tasty with a runny yolk from the quail's egg. This was followed by a chicken and vegetable terrine which looked amazing and tasted even better. The main course was shredded beef with dauphinoise potatoes and vegetables. Absolutely mouth watering. The dessert was the best cherry bakewell tart we have ever tasted and the chef gave us some to take away. The cheeseboard selection was an excellent end to the festivities. They also had a wine representative who presented a different wine with each course, together with a brief description, sometimes not so brief. The pub also provided some port to accompany the cheese. A fantastic evening. The courses were very generous but we managed to eat everything as it was all so delicious. Next time I suggest you reduce the portion size.

Haven't been here for years but decided to give it a try having heard about the new ownership. I must say I was very impressed with Luke's fish and chips, I think it even came with mushy peas!!

A local's pub which has blossomed since a needed change of ownership. Wonderfully run by a delightful family. All life his here. This type of pub is becoming rare. Primarily it's where you go for a drink and a chat but if you are hungry the food available is tasty and honest. Try it!

The new tenants at the White Hart are looking at different ways of keeping us locals, and some not so locals happy. We have just had the inaugural fine dining/wine tasting evening and it was a wonderful evening. Luke, the chef, excelled himself with the food, our only complaint was the portion sizes were a bit too big. We are looking forward to the next evening.

Went past there yesterday and it looks as though it has closed. This is a real shame if it has because it was a great place to eat with really nice food at reasonable prices. There was a To Let signboard outside.

Went here for lunch with some friends. They've got a great selection of real ales which is always a good start. Walking in it felt like a proper pub but the restaurant area is nicely tucked away. The food is proper pub grub that's cooked really well.

Think of a typical local country Pub, and you're almost certainly thinking of The White Hart in Eversley. Warm, welcoming, friendly.

Congratulations is in order here, to be in CAMRA Good Beer Guide is a badge of honour, This is one pub that deserves it as the beers are always Tip Top Condition. As a fairly regular customer here ive seen the growth of Ale drinkers coming into the pub, and always great comments on the condition of the Ale, also always a fantastic selection to be sampled. Bottoms Up Steve and Staff, well deserved Coach And Horses.

This is the second time in as many weeks and both times they have been great with my 2 year old, bringing out crayons, a biscuit or lolly pop. Lovely ladies in there, I would recommend their delicious cakes.

Only had food here, didn't stay, but it was excellent. Sunday roast beef and my wife had the sea bass. The only thing I might suggest is that they offer a steak knife with the roast beef as I think it was a sirloin(sounds odd but I think that's what it said) and quite hard to cut with standard knife. Like the slate (?) running through the tables, too. Will be back👍🏻
