Had to see what the hype was about, well disappointed is an understatement. The fish was crispy but flat and the chips were just a pile of pale mush unable to peel from the paper. On looking at their Instagram, the chips are golden and crispy. I shan't return or recommend.

To many eyes in the chips had to throw half of them away.potatoes need peeling properly.would not recommend for the chips but the fish was reasonable and a decent size

Radcliffe Moor Road
I came here as part of a family of 6 for Christmas dinner. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming and the staff although extremely busy were so lovely and organised. The food was lovely and they catered for my request of custard with my Christmas pudding instead of what they originally offered. The pub was busy, which says a lot about the establishment and its staff. Compliments to the staff that worked that day and I hope management appreciated their hard work too. Thank you again for a wonderful Christmas Day dinner.

3 Whalley RdEagle and child is a lovely pub/restaurant inside and out, large outdoor seating area with covered teepee (presume used during summer). Lovely food, great service. A little more expensive than average but the quality more than makes up for the price. Beers a little expensive again but exceptionally clean lines and great taste offset it to a degree Will definitely be visiting again.
