This place is a dive. Lots of unsociable things going on. The staff are rude and if your face does not fit they will tell you to leave without no probable cause/no reason given. Lots of people hanging out outside pestering women. Very dangerous.

I came here the other day for lunch and got mixed up with the other restaurant called 'Punjabi Karahi', which is on the same road. This one is a pub and they should just stick to drinks and not serve food. I had a portion of veg samosas and Lamb Karahi with Naan. Was only £10.50 or so but the samosas were genuinely just frozen samosas from a shop, which they heated up. The curry was ok, nothing special but also not the worst and the nan were actually quite good. The place however is a pub, so not a pleasant place to eat. Toilets are dirtier than train stations, the place smells heavily of alcohol, there is loud Cricket World Cup played across the entire place, and you have to pay upfront and at the counter. Overall, I was expecting the other restaurant but for some reason Google was directing me to this one.

The ambiance is not the best, a bit noisy. But my fish & chips was ok, slightly spicy, good fries with a reasonable portion and for 8£ . The place has also a hostel.

Nothing special here and the disco on Fridays and Saturdays attracts no one other than the local men.

As a hostel this might be the worst I ever been. As restaurant ..well I don't think that same owner and staff makes great food with that level of responsibility for cleaning and customer service.

Our newly formed West London Club had its opening Social Event on Saturday 27, May, 2017, at the White Bear Pub - Hounslow. We aim to have Live Music Bands and DJ's on a regular basis, in suitable Venues. Mainly (but not restricted to) Goan & Anglo-Indian Bands playing music from 1960's onwards to current chart hits. We had a 5 piece Live Band, Latin Dance Show and around 50 persons attended, including a few friendly local regulars, for whom the pub is their second home. Mags (the manager) and her team - Lauren and Shani looked after us extremely well and helped make the party a great success. Anthony (Goan Sous-chef) cooked tasty authentic Goan traditional dishes - Chicken Cafreal and Pork Vindaloo, served with spicy Pilau rice or Tandoori naan. Eddy (in-house Security), not only took care of Security, but also helped promote our Event. Our party guests have given us very positive feedback about the Venue, Food and overall ambience. Please note that there exists a TripAdvisor review page for "Heathrow Hostel", which is located in the same building - on the first floor. The existing reviews cover the Heathrow Hostel aspect only. As an organizer for the West London Club Social Event, I felt that the "Heathrow Hostel" and "White Bear Pub and Restaurant" should be two separate listings as they cater to two different set of Client types and have separate entrances. The two Businesses run independently of each other and can be segregated. Hence, I requested a separate listing for the White Bear Pub and Restaurant - Hounslow and am very glad that TripAdvisor have obliged. Also, the White Bear Pub and Restaurant Area can be sub-divided - each with its own set of Ladies and Gents Toilets and own Bar too. Hence, for our Club Opening Social Night, we had exclusive access to our part of the Pub, which was looked after by In-house Security staff member - Eddy. The Menu is the usual Indian Restaurant dishes. We ordered traditional Goan Dishes, that are not on the Menu, since they have a Goan Sous-chef. Please note, that it is advisable to agree to quantity and price, and any other details, prior to placing any order. This will prevent any nasty surprises or misunderstandings.

No wifi! I regularly stay in this area for business. Everytime I go, I find that the wifi is not working. I basically want to work there, so it wastes my money every time. It is also in a mobile data
