Terrible Service. Absolutely disappointing food.

Very slow service, so slow we left with a take out of our food after waiting 45 minutes for a simple meal, which was on addition unfortunately disappointing, a soggy and tasteless fish goujon. Not recommended.

Food is ok. Service was a mixed bag. Food was poor: unwashed seafood (grit in the shellfish), overcooked fish etc Location great, however the upstairs tables with the best views were closed off l. I guess they weren't busy enough to open upstairs?

Had a fabulous dinner here. Fabulous food, great service. Attentive and friendly chef and waitresses. Highly recommend. Thank you.

Excellently located place right in the heart of Mevagissy, with great views of the harbour. Room was very comfortable and spotless, had a great night’s sleep. Check-in could have been a bit smoother and no breakfast included in the price. Otherwise great

We popped in for lunch on a quiet Saturday afternoon. The staff were very friendly and the service was good. We had what was probably the best calamari ever. Cooked to perfection. Just melts in your mouth. However the fish and chips was not your traditional fish and chips. The chips were Skin On Fries! The fish was lightly battered in what was purpose to be beer batter but was so bland it needed lots of seasoning. Considering this is a restaurant on the harbour serving fish and chips you expect it would be the real deal. We were very disappointed.

I called the restaurant at the begging of the week to book a table for me and my mom. I was bringing her for a treat as we were away for the weekend, living 2 hours away in South Devon. The lady I spoke to confirmed our details, the day and time of booking. We arrived 5 minutes prior to our booking to be met with a closed up restaurant, all locked up with no signs. I rung the telephone number several times but there was no answer. Luckily there was an establishment nearby that were happy to have us for lunch without a booking. If you need to shut the business, at least have the common decency to phone those that have bookings.

Absolutely beautiful view across the harbour, friendly staff and a delicious breakfast

We just had a tasty meal here, seabass and crab bisque. Food was delicious and fresh. Very nice location. Friendly staff.

Managed to get a table on opening night. Restaurant has been fully refurbished and has a lovely relaxed vibe. Tapas menu and food was amazing. Highly recommend the new potatoes and the squid. Staff were really helpful and dog friendly.

What more is there to say other than incredible location, great seafood and not overpriced. Served with a smile. Just great. Stayed at the Wheelhouse hotel for a few nights but we ate twice here in the evening. The breakfasts were lovely too.
