Central pub with parking. Good deals on food. Great service at bar; helpful, friendly and advised on allergies. Food was hot and tasty.

Great pub, visited The Wheatsheaf when I was in the area with my partner for business. Very friendly and attentive staff. The food is good value, and cooked/presented very nicely for budget eats. My partner & I will return when we're in the area again.

overall it was nice, but the chilli sauce tasted cheap and there was tomato on the burger despite requesting it to be left out. Thankfully I am only intolerant, not allergic.

The food here is very nicely cooked and value for money. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is very much a local pub feel. Lots of room for people in wheelchairs and staff are very helpful in making sure they can position themselves comfortably at a table.

This and a bottle of coke for me doesn’t really justify almost 15 quid. The taste was alright but for that type of money there are a lot of better local options.

The pub has dated decorating, but the services was outstanding, the atmosphere was friendly, the food was delicious and all of that was at a very reasonable price. Most enjoyable, thank you.

Decent food, friendly staff. I would say this particular link in the chain is geared slightly more as a sports bar than restaurant, but this was offset by the staff member that brought some menus and colouring paraphernalia for the kids, we had lovely food and my wife was very impressed with her sizzling veggie Fajitas. We cleared our plates, so if that's not a good sign, I don't know what is.

Place was almost empty and they said they were full and no time slots, I could see available tables everywhere, lazy staff more like, it's a glorified Wetherspoons but atleast Wetherspoons are more inviting.

Nice friendly pub, good mix of seated for food and traditional pub style.

Visited to try the new menu. It is really good with some new and exciting dishes to try. I will be back to try more !! The staff were polite and very helpful I was served by James . The food came out in good time and was very nice and brilliant value for money .

The delivery companies had mixed up our order with another and before we were even aware that this had happened, Michael called us and sorted it straight away. That’s customer service and we will definitely be visiting this pub in the nearby future, hopefully to say thank you in person.

You collected the wrong order and the poor restaurant manager had to call us, offer us the mixed up meal and then redeliver another meal. The food was brilliant, restaurant was brilliant but Just Ear wasn’t :(

My partner and I came in over the weekend and we’re looked after by dean whilst we were there, he was very attentive and friendly to our son. Food was tasty and hot and drinks were cheap. I couldn’t have asked for a better time!

Service is poor, pub is cold and feels like a regulars pub, does not feel comforting. Haven't been here for years and heard a change over in management and finally decided to give it ago. But nothing has changed still the same dingy pub.

The wheatsheaf has decent priced drinks, great atmosphere and good food. Best of all is the thursday night quiz run by Carol, they are so fun, spirited and bring so much joy to our friends and family every week. With festive quizzes for each season and regular quizzes every week! We love Carol!!!

Amazing food from a little pub - burgers are excellent

We visited as a large group, food was lovely and very reasonably priced! All came out fresh and hot and Ben with t is being such a large table. The staff were so attentive nothing was a problem. 10/10 we would definitely return again when in Bognor. Thank you to all the staff for making our evening great.

We had a booking for 22 at the Whestsheaf. Michael and his team went above and beyond to make it special for us, Michael even coming in on his day off! We had our own little area that was decorated beautifully. The kids had colouring and activities that kept them entertained. The food was fabulous, freshly cooked and hot. Nothing was too much trouble! We were all staying at Butlins so it was very refreshing to be able to step away and eat at a local restaurant. The cost is so good for what you get! I would honestly recommend the Whestsheaf to everyone and will be coming back on our next visit to Bognor. Thank you again Michael

We booked a table to dine before checking into Butlins! Micheal greeted us as we arrived and told us we could choose any table we liked. Michael made a fuss of our daughter and asked her to draw a dinosaur then after her dinner she could choose some sweets from the jar behind the bar! YES! 5 minutes peace for adult conversation! The food was piping hot and delicious, served in a timely manner. Service was fantastic every step of the way. We loved it so much we returned 2 days later for lunch! Thank you Michael and the team.

Michael has revitalised the pub both inside and outside. As a Mitchell’s & Butler share holder I’m telling you that you’re extremely lucky to have someone of his calibre.

Excellent fish and chips. Large piece of battered fish and a good serving of well cooked chips. Peas were inedible as they were dried up. Food was nicely presented in a cardboard box with a wedge of fresh lemon and a pot of sauce. Delivered on time.

The burger bun was so soggy, it was almost like dough, inedible and disgusting. To top it all up was greasy and cold chips. Definitely won't order from them again.

The staff are so friendly and helpful and the food is fantastic, they are the best family friendly pub to go to and the live music is fantastic and the quiz nights are fantastic and the poker nights are fantastic

Chicken burger + chips were fine but the bun didn't match the quality. So won't return.

Beautiful steak combo as usual. Excellent and friendly service which is hard when it's a table of 11. Never had a bad meal there.

Had dinner here tonight, food was excellent and served hot and well presented. Served quickly and with a smile, team were pleasant, landlord even made us laugh. Prices are great at only about a tenner for the 2 main courses and was shocked how good the beer prices were as usual. Be back soon

I’m literally 5 minutes round the corner in a car, but food was semi warm. Peas very cheap version but otherwise was ok.

Came in with my family to eat. What a lovely friendly pub. The staff all welcoming and very friendly. Hannah was lovely and attentive. The food was lovely and came out in good time . Would definitely recommend this pub if passing through or when holidaying as not too far from Riverside.

Delivery time come and went and Was left waiting for a delivery update for another 25 mins, nearly and hour and half in total then was delivered, presumed they must have been busy, but when food arrived all was cold, and had clearly been sat there!! If that wasn’t bad enough we were missing items too! This experience has put me off ordering again!

Micheal and the team could not have been more helpful in looking after us for a last minute booking of 24! Micheal went out of his way to make sure we were all looked after and thank you to the chefs . Food came out all together and hot . Not easy with so many of us . Good food and delivery. A drink was ordered but not included in the delivery.

I can imagine that in the pub our meals would have been great but probably due to being bagged and boxed the buns were very soggy, both burgers were missing the chips and were cold. Attempted to contact the restaurant about the missing food but no answer after 8 calls.

Normally food lovely but garlic bread was hard and chips undercooked ..disappointed

Very helpful staff assisting with app and promotions. I had the 8oz steak and chicken fillet, the steak was inedible, very disappointed, had to return meal and opt for the hotdog, as I felt another steak might be the same and I didn’t want to keep my party waiting any longer

Had meal today, other half 66 year old birthday. Used a groupon voucher. One of the best meals we have had in a long while. 2 starters, 2 mains. Food cooked to perfection and hot. Good size portion even though we used a groupon voucher. Looking at the menu, prices are very good even without voucher. Will definitely be returning. Bar manager / owner? especially very friendly /perfessional.

Overall a good experience. Arrived swiftly. Ordered Sizzling plate steak and chicken 🐔. Onions tasted like they were boiled, I thought they would cook on the hot skillet plate but they didn't. Scampi and chips were lovely.
