A great place with good food and excellent staff but lets itself down by poor maintenance. Only two coffee machines and one always broken. Every toilet door in the men’s room is broken missing seats and half of the toilets won’t flush. Reported to the duty manager every month for the last four months and the same answer… we are looking into it.

Aggressive doormen. Constantly watching over you made me feel unwelcome really. 2 children with our party eating & told very abruptly they must be gone by eight. Cheap food but will book somewhere else next time I'm that way. Uncomfortable is an understatement.

Very poor, the food took 45 minutes to get to my table and it was cold Staff was very rude and when we asked to see the kitchen manger he refused to see me and my friends

Okay breakfast prices make the slightly lower quality worth it staff very helpful and the food was hot and filled us up what else can you ask for

Lovely couple of hours spent enjoying a leisurely lunch in this characterful ‘’Spoons. Hoping for sunshine to wander around the town we instead stayed inside chatting and dodging the rain. We chose off the 3 plates for £14.24 menu which was plenty for lunch insisting we couldn’t possibly manage a pudding (sorry dessert) but we did in add desserts and coffees. The friendly staff seem used to their older end clientele which creates a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Ample (4hours free) parking opposite made this a lovely visit.

Went in for food and drinks. Over priced compared to other places in the town. Very poor service and food was just horrible, half the stuff unavailable, had to have 3 small plates in the end, wish I didn’t bother. This place used to be good to visit now it’s just crap. Definitely won’t be visiting again.

Dirty cutlery bread bun burnt burger burnt ,onion rings burnt ,chips were so over cooked or reheated they looked like they had a southern fried coating ,dreadful experience and the last

Thus will never be the prettiest pub in Tim's portfolio, but it's clearly popular! I ordered a chicken wrap, a soup and a coffee and the order was taken politely and the food tasted fine, although there was considerably less chicken than usual in the wrap ...hmm. A pub that is well located in the town centre too.

Wanted to order basic pub food (Fish and Chips) only to find on the online menu out of stock! Tried to order other items OUT OF STOCK AGAIN. Wont bother again.

Service with a grunt, complained about the food when it arrived, (within 60 seconds of ordering I kid you not) we still hadn’t even got our hot drinks, mind you that was because only one of the drinks machines were working. Upon looking at the now cold food the beans on toast was Soggy as the bread wasn’t toasted enough. The bacon sandwich was half empty with over cooked bacon, it looked like it had been scrapped of the bottom of the try. We had a conversation with a staff member, his only resolution was a refund as that’s the portion size for the sandwich and how the toast (bread) for the beans on bread is served. We got a refund but only for the food until I notice they hadn’t refunded the drinks too. Left very disappointed and walked up to Gregg’s

Called in for a quick tea. Been many times before after finishing work in Cleckheaton. Always have the steak due to being coeliac (gluten free), as the menu is very limited for me due to my allergy. When it was brought out it looked like there was something on top of the steak…some sort of coating it had been cooked in. I tried it and it tasted like there was a coating, quite spicy. It has always been a plain steak before, nothing on it. I asked one of the staff, explaining about my allergy and how Unwell eating gluten can make me. He rolled his eyes and went to get another member of staff, who was equally unhelpful. He agreed to go ask in the kitchen what it was coated in, then came back saying he wasn’t allowed to say as his job would be on the line! Not impressed. The only upside being he offered to get me something else but by this time my husband had finished his meal, and I wasn’t impressed by their attitudes, so declined and left my meal. The first time I have come across these two unfortunate members of staff. Totally put me off returning.

Couldn't believe it. Bar staff emptying the glass washer and using the HOT glasses from the dishwasher first. There were dry normal glasses available but they opted to use the HOT glass straight from the glass washer. What is the point in having chillers to serve drinks when they do this. Pure laziness on the staff members part I feel.

My breakfast was cold. The toast wasn’t toasted very well at all… no colour to it at all! I went upstairs to the ladies. Out of six cubicles, only 2 were working, one of which the lock was broken. I’ve been here several times previously and this visit was a big disappointment….

You walk into these Wetherspoon pubs with eyes wide open. I've seen some odd sights in some of them and this was no different though I've been in plenty worse. I did get some hot food which was nice and a better than good pint. (Salopian, Indigenous). We called in twice and lastly around 22:30 after leaving friends. It was a bit disturbing with a gang of feral youths baiting the police who were in the pub interviewing an older guy who had earlier been robbed inside. It felt a bit dodgy outside waiting for our bus. The staff were friendly.

Visited on a Saturday night, it wasn’t that busy considering it was a bank holiday weekend. Ordered a bottle of prosecco and it wasn’t until the bottle was open that we were told there were no prosecco glasses. We then ordered gins and there was no fruit. Staff didn’t seem to care

After visiting this establishment on the 16th January 2020 at lunchtime I was deeply disappointed to be pulled 2/3rds of a pint by a girl I think was called Jessica. She wouldn’t rectify her error of not being able to pull a pint to my annoyance by refusing to top up my pint.

This is probably my favourite wetherspoons pub. Great selection of drinks at sensible prices. The pizzas are gorgeous!

Looking good since the updates. However, the best thing about this place is the smiley, happy customer service from Benjamin Proctor.

Came in for a couple of beers. Good choice of real beers, friendly staff and quick service. All you could ask for in a pub.

What can you say about a Wetherspoon's - well this one is clean and staff are efficient. Not fine dining but when you're too tired to cook a cheap option.

buena comida de pub, forma parte de una cadena hotelera, para saber qué esperar puede estar muy concurrido con folk de trabajo a la hora de té. Bar se puede llenar lo que significa esperar un poco a la hora punta. Normalmente me dan o bistec de pasta / lasaña plato siempre agradable y buena relación calidad-precio también comida y una bebida.

Estamos visitantes habituales de la Obediah Brooke para bebidas y comida en ocasiones. En un extremo suelto qué hacer para el almuerzo de domingo hoy, decidimos darle una oportunidad para algo que no habíamos intentado desde el menú antes.

Visited here last Saturday for a couple of drinks and some lunch on approaching the bar the blond barmaid was very abrupt which I didn't like straight away she had a pait of plastic gloves on which had seen better days , she went from handling clean glasses to handling dirty glasses and plates and cleaning tables all with the same gloves health and hygiene not good . The young man who took our food order was very polite . The food was very good but the blond let our trip down .

Great spot for a sneaky brekkie after the school run! Food as you would expect from a Wetherspoons, fast and hot and don't mind the regulars having their early morning pint!

No quitaban las mesas de desemboca debido a la falta de personal. Went last night for the fourth time over a 6 weeks period, what a shambles ordered a naked Burrito with chicken breast strips, the chicken was incredibly rubbery, chewy and stringy, called waiter over and was told all our food is fully prepared and not cooked on the premises, only warmed up, he went away and brought me back a Burrito with BBQ pulled pork with tortilla chips, the order was for a naked Burrito with BBQ pulled pork (didn't want chicken again), as I don't like tortilla chips I sent it back again this time he returned it with rice, the lady on next table was listening to the conversation and also sent her meal back for a similar reason and was shocked nothing was cooked on the premises.

Lovely friendly punters, lack of staff behind the bar and a massive lack of chairs and tables in the bar. Lots of room for advertising, sometimes at the cost of people wanting to sit at tables.

It's a Weatherspoon you've seen it all before. They save their best steak chef for Tuesday and this week was no exception. Brilliant mixed grill with a lovely real ale or two. What's not to like?

Just had a steak in cleck Wetherspoon. The steak was cooked beautiful, just a shame about the amount of chips. Could of done with a few more.

Dejó de ir a comer porque comida nunca estaba hecha. Nos dio una oportunidad para el desayuno y todo fue genial. Luego fuimos a desayunar tontos unos días más tarde ... volver a la normalidad. Habas de frío, 800 huevos cocidos y croquetas de patata como ladrillos. Lo siento, pero esto es lo que era.

Llamado a la Obediah Brooke hoy para comida y bebida, en mi opinión, este es un típico pub del centro de la ciudad, con muy poca personalidad.

Having spent the day shopping and drinking in Leeds, was refreshing to have a double gin (Hendricks) and tonic for £3.35 bargain :)

What makes Wetherspoons so good? Service is always great, always attentive; Food is fairly priced, most of the time ok and drinks are cheap and with the greatest choice!!!

Llamamos por aquí cuando volvamos a tiendas de Cleckheaton, tenemos el 5 Bean Chili, que se sirven en un pequeño plato de barro con, arroz y triangulitos silvestres en un plato, y una pinta de cerveza tradicional para mi hermano y una pinta de Strongbow para mí. El precio total es £10,64 que es muy buena relación calidad-precio.

Went to obedia h brook for lunch, had fish Friday. Nice crispy batter on the fish and it was very hot. Obviously freshly cooked. You know what you are getting in wetherspoons. Nothing fancy, just decent food at good value.

Fuimos allí para una comida con algunos familiares la semana pasada, y la comida no estaba nada mal, todo el mundo nos dieron una buena porción y el precio para una comida y una bebida es muy competitivo. Las comidas no salen todos al mismo tiempo, así que me dejaron por unos pocos minutos viendo todos los demás comer, pero cuando llegó la comida era muy buena. Precios de Wetherspoons también significaba que era uno de los lugares más baratos para beber en la zona.

Me gusta algunos de los platos aunque el menú es muy básico, los desayunos son mejores, i copa aquí todo el tiempo, no es tan barato como solía ser también necesita ser más amistoso con los niños.

Mi hija y yo visitamos en los padres día y tuve una parrillada mixta perfectamente cocinado cocinados, como habíamos pedido, había un montón de cosas y probado encantador. El personal era genial como siempre con mi hija e incluso poner su imagen en la pared hizo su día. Gracias : -)
