My grandfather and I came here to grab lunch after visiting the beach and thought the food was wonderful, especially the chips. He declared them the best he has ever had, which at 90 years old means a lot. The place looks a little run down, but was very clean and added to its hole-in-the-wall kind of charm. The lady who served us seemed a little shy, but was very kind. We will definitely return when we are back in Bognor Regis. A must visit for sure.

This cafe was once my go to cafe at the weekend under the previous owners. Since they sold I’ve heard not many good things about this place and months ago I see a sign go up ‘business for sale’. I went in yesterday and the current owner looked like she was severe pain, that or she really hated being there. She did not say hello to me, my partner or my daughter when she walked passed us upon entering. She ignored my partner who was at the counter ready to make an order. In the end, I called my partner away and said come on, let’s go to the syrup cafe. The owner again pulled a face like a stroppy teenager. I will not be parting with my money in this cafe until there is a new owner.

Looking for a cafe for breakfast at 10.30 today past Westside caffe by accident had there Olympic breakfast, but swopped one toast for a fried slice. Service was v good and food was exellent, what we liked as well was that it was all very hot when served and the plate was hot which kept the food warm.

This little cafe located in the 'old town' of Bognor Regis provides good old fashioned home-cooked food at great prices. The lady that serves is ALWAYS happy to see you, and nothing is to much trouble. They have a great menu, but also specials of the day, so you can always be sure that there is something to temp your taste buds.

If you want a greasy spoon, come here. However if you want clean cups and some food not just dumped on the plate go to the gallon in town. Table was sticky and our cups come out not washed. Kitchen looked like it could do with a sweep and wipe down. Perfect for the average builder. Food cheap Service was good. Served with a smile.

Stayed at butlins and decided we would go out for breakfast... Stumbled across this cafe only a 2 minute drive from the complex. Great quality and from ordering to the table took no more than 5 minutes! Would definitely recommend and come back again 👍🏼

My wife and I visited for breakfast this morning, almost full at 08:00. This is not surprising in many ways as they have put on what I call a "breakfast special" Eggs Benedict with a choice of fillings. For £6 it's almost a give-away when ingredients, skill and time are considered.

This is a regular for us, a place you can visit alone or with family, kids, friends as there is always a friendly welcome. The menu is all home cooked, including the delicious ham. From a wide variety of breakfasts to full lunch menu, there is something to suit everyone's taste, personal favourites are the steak and kidney pudding, steak and ale pie and slow cooked belly pork. Lovely fresh vegetables and decent coffee.

Rapid service with a smile. Superb breakfast made our morning. My partner explodes into a rage when not having her breakfast on time and this place saved me from the nightmare of experiencing it on a Saturday morning Lol. The vegetarian breakfast went down well for my partner and my full English superb. Thanks a lot to all at Westside for saving me from the green monster. The food hot full of flavour and well priced.

My wife and I often visit for an early breakfast. The menu is extensive covering all aspects and flavours associated with English breakfasts. Everything is freshly cooked to order, very competitively priced and service is second to none. For those who may be interested, their lunch menu is considered to be outstanding and portions are generous. At the last count they had 9 choices of Sunday Lunch on their menu. Recommend pre-booking as they do get busy.

Excellent café serving quality food. Delicious bacon, meaty sausages, and perfectly cooked soft scrambled eggs. Importantly for us Carlyle’s Cafe’ is also a dog friendly establishment, the friendly staff even present your loved one with a tasty treat! Thanks for a great visit, we look forward to returning.

We stayed and ate in the evening with them. Our room was beautiful, lovely linen, and towels a really calm space! Yes it is in the centre of Arundel but we were surprised by how little we could hear traffic. We had a cheeseboard and beautiful salami’s beautifully served, we were told where everything was from, lovely wines to choose from, they certainly exceeded our expectations and we will definitely be back, run by a really lovely couple. Breakfast was continental but again locally sourced and first class

Went with 7 of my family and chose the carvery option. The whole meal was dry and tasteless. The pork was chewy, potatoes dry and the veg was extremely tasteless Since eating there I have read more reviews that say the same. The gravy boat need to read their reviews and up their game, as I for one, will not be going back. Shame, as it was very good when it first opened.

Lovely Sunday lunch, it was full so very glad we booked! My wife was a little disappointed with her lamb as she found it somewhat fatty. I realise some like it like this!
