Trying to get a mocha. Offered me coffee or hot chocolate, but seemed unwilling or unable to combine the two for a mocha.

No volvería a ir! !

So grateful that there were TWO VEGAN PASTIES on offer ... As well as the chips ... Hearty local meal before the flight! More varieties please?

Lovely pasties and jolly people, I walked here from the Hilton and back, ate the pasty and chips with a glass of wine and had a shower in less time than it was going to take to serve me some grub in the Hilton restaurant on a Monday night! Open 24 hrs (actually in the coach park near train station, unless there's two?)

Had the pleasure of studying in and visiting Cambridge a few times now and every time I make a stop for the West Cornwall Pasty Company. It's better than any fast food in England and a must-stop while traveling. Perfect varieties make for a quick and hearty lunch while you shop and prepare for a punting trip on the River Cam!

It is said that pastries were created as tge original plastic packaging - designed solely for holding the meat and vegetable meal within. But the inside AND outside of these West Cornwall pasties are so good you never want to waste any part of them - down to the last crumb.

Its obvious these pasties had been cooked and left all day. Here's a tip, If they haven't sold ----- Throw them away and sell fresh ones because otherwise people like me will never buy again from you or any of your branches. The pasty i bought was £4.95 and the inside of the traditional pasty was potato and swede that was sticking to the pastry it was so overcooked, the meat inside looked like a turd. all stuck as one piece. smelling it was bad, the taste was vile. I have eaten in the Kingston branch many times and the pasty's were always nice. The bit that disappoints me is there were two members of staff behind the counter with another at the front with a clipboard marking sales. he was clearly a manager. Imagine knowingly selling crap food. You do it because you think you are on a station and therefore it doesn't matter. I will never buy from your brand ever again.

Always perfect food that rates amazing, which is why there's usually a queue! Will definitely be back.

Wholesome, filling and very tasty. You always fancy another, when finished. Perfectly cooked and hot, which makes a change, from some outlets.

I have to say that at £5.45 I thought that the Beast was pricey but to be honest the pasty never seemed to end ... and every mouthful was as tasty as the first! Well worth the outlay when you consider that a Sausage Roll costs £2.75!

We ate here with friends. The pastys were very tasty and piping hot. It was cold that day and it was exactly what we needed. Not much of an atmosphere but it didn't matter because it was the pastys we there for. Definitely recommend it. Joe

The West Cornwall Pasty Company is part of a chain and may be found even at busy London stations, but the Cambridge branch offers very friendly service and the full range of hot pasties, to eat in or takeaway, set in Cambridge's lovely market place. A great and reasonably priced place to sit and watch the world go by or gaze at the daily market stalls.

Popped twice now whilst in the area for a quick bite. Great variety of pasties plus other bits. Food was nice even took an extra pasty for a snack later. A little pricey but if you don't like the cost you don't have to eat, service was good but busy. You can eat in but only a small place so if you catch a busy day there no where to sit. I will return again when I'm in the area.

Just had a pasty here. After getting some very short service where I was on the wrong for buying a pack of crisps while the staff entering the till, the pasty itself was hideous. I have never had a drier one than this and will never have one here again.

On the way to the "Mac" place when I saw this place. A wide range of party's to sit most tastes. Staff are friendly and the window seats are great for sitting, eating and watching the people go by. Not that cheep but 100 times better than "M's" and much more taste. Will be back next time I visit

I went to the shop on the corner of the market square. My friend spoke very highly of these Cornwall Pasties so I tried one. It was tasy (and the filling is very hot) but its not a champion. I got one with beef and it was 4 or 5 UKP I guess, a bit pricey to my liking.

Visited West Cornwall Pasty Company in Cambridge (by market place,on street corner) whilst on day trip in October. Very tasty chicken and bacon and especially tasty steak and stilton pasty. Good choice and not bad value for money. Plenty of seats, situated over various floors and toilets at the 'top of the shop'.Can purchase to take out too.Ideal as a snack whilst seeing the sights Cambridge has to offer.

This Review is for the shop on the market square. Always loved treating myself to a steak & stilton pasty when in Cambridge trailing around after the wife, shopping. Last in there a few weeks back, I was really genuinely disappointed to find that I was tucking into what was mostly a piping-hot bunch of pastry with just the tightest amount of filling in there. What can one say? Goodbye West Cornwall Pasty Company, we had some good times. But now that's all over - your price too high, your filling too scarce. It is with a heavy heart that my search for a really top-notch Cornish Pasty continues. Peace out.

This relates to the Market hill branch in Cambridge. I used to really enjoy the Corniwall Pasty shop. When there was another company just up the road, which was cheaper, I would still come here because it was better quality. That other shop has now closed and I really wish it hadn't! After the debacle with the pasty-tax Corwall Pasty shop put their prices up and reduced the quality of their pasties! Or at least in this branch anyway. After discovering this place my colleagues and I made it a regular lunch venue to bring back to the office, but all of us have remarked at how the amount of meat in each pasty has been reducing. I today have had a large traditional pasty, slightly burnt on the bottom, and I only found one lump of meat. All the rest seemed to be onion and potato. My colleagues chicken pasties have also had gradually reducing chunks of chicken, both individual size and overall quantity. The last time I had a pasty I has steak and stilton, and that too had remarkably less steak and a lot of onion. I will not be coming back here in a rush. Who wants to pay £5 for a meat pasty when all you get in pastry and potato/onion!?

I couldn't believe how awful the service was - I started by saying I'd like to eat in, was polite about it all, even when they decided the pastie I wanted wasn't what it said it was, ie it was a different variety to the one I wanted, and the one I wanted wasn't available - that's ok, I was having a late lunch and didn't expect everything to be available - and I got some wedges that were inedible, they were just awful, luke warm and soggy. I chose another pasty, and then had to ask for cutlery. And they looked at me like I was from another planet when I asked for a plate, and in fact continued conversation between themselves whilst I stood waiting with food in hand! Is it unreasonable to expect knife and fork and a plate when you have already made known your intention to dine in? The pastie was quite delicious, but unfortunately I wouldn't return here due to the appalling service.

If cornish pasties is what you are after then this is the shop for you. They have a wide selection of flavors and you can eat in as well as take away. I live in US so whenever I am in cambridge I have my fix of pasties and sausage rolls here. If you go late in the day the start running out and the choice becomes limited. It is situated right in the market place. there is some limited outdoor seating for the days when its not raining

My wife and I went to this lovely pub with our dog for dinner. We booked a table in the bar area which is a real cosy bar. Everyone in the bar and the bar staff were so friendly. We sat there for a couple of hours having a drink plus dinner. The food was great, especially the home made pie. We will definitely return.
