Visited for the 1st time in over 20 years ( due to raising family) and being from Norfolk, wasn't disappointed so pleased for these people who took over when it was either dale farm or dairy crest who decided to close the site down !!! Wonderful experience and lovely staff, great day out and got my favourite supply of Wensleydale and cranberry 😁

If only I could give Wensleydale Creamery more stars! We had a super few hours here, a great place to visit. So interesting. Started with the demonstration (Yorkshire Wensleydale Experience), enthusiastic staff keeping you engaged about process of cheese making and the history through the years. You are able to go on after to see the factory floor where the magic happens at the viewing gallery and also, get to taste the varieties of cheese too (The Taste of Yorkshire). No need to rush either there is plenty on offer, they wont run out! There is a wonderful restaurant and again, we couldn't fault it. Quality food and really helpful staff.... easy on the pocket too. It's a busy place, testament to the standard of this attraction / working creamery. This is the place where local does local extremely well! *Tip - If it rains get there quick, it'll fill quicker than a milk tanker! PCB 👌🏻

Wonderful experience! The cheese making tour is amazing...it'll help pay for all the cheese you'll eat in the shop as you can taste every cheese they make! This is also a great location for numerous walks/hikes around the area with many waypoints of interest. We have made some great memories of our time in the Yorkshire Dales and at the centre of them is cheese!

The Wensleydale Creamery is a must-visit for cheese lovers and food enthusiasts alike. The on-site restaurant is a highlight, serving up delicious food that goes beyond just cheese. The menu features hearty dishes that showcase local ingredients, with their cheese-infused dishes being particularly impressive. If you're looking for great food in a scenic location, Wensleydale Creamery won't disappoint!

Only went in for Cream Teas. Not impressed. As we had our dog fair enough we had to sit outside. It was cold out and apart from an umbrella on the table there was no outdoor cover for people with dogs. Tad annoying as it says dogs welcome. Yeh but not inside Good job it didn't rain. Regards the cream team. Not happy. The scone was very nice. Jam nothing special the local supermarket wouldn't sell. Now the cream. That's the 1st time I've had cream tea with squirty cream. Isn't it meant to be clotted cream. This was pure white and foamy, ypical out of a can. This was no doubt my worst cream tea I've ever had and considering we were at the creamery I was shocked. Won't be going back again.

We went in here to have a look at the factory sadly we had missed the show around so instead we went into the gift shop and saw they have a cafe so decided to have dinner in there I ordered the mac and cheese which is one of my favourite foods so I expected it to be amazing from a cheese factory and I was right this was one of the best Mac and cheeses I’ve ever had it was super creamy and had a layer of stringy cheese on top. We then went and tried some of the cheeses and ended up buying four different cheeses. This place is amazing and will definitely go back to look at the factory. I would have taken a photo of the mac and cheese but it was so good I forgot to take one.

Well worth the cost. Myself, my husband and two children (10 and 6) came august 24. We went to the shop, cafe and the experience (this part costing around £12 for all 4). The talk was very busy but we were later so understood we missed the chairs. I really enjoyed the talk. The man was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. The museum was short and sweet and the cheese was good! I don’t imagine you would come back again but well worth a visit.

Returned to one of our favourite places that we have been to many times over the last fifty years. The cheeses are amongst the best available anywhere BUT our visit was spoilt by dreadfully poor quality ice cream. We had four different flavours so it was not just one that was disappointing. The flavours of all of them were weak and at £4.00 per cone I expected better. I could not believe just how poor they were. We have had much better supermarket ice cream. This is a wonderful place and my advice is to stop selling ice cream if what we had was the best you can offer.

We went to the Creamery and had a great time. The cheese & butter making demonstrations run every day and it is well worth it to see some cheese being made by a very knowledgeable and enthusiastic member of the team. We loved the cheese tasting room too which was spotless and with so many cheeses to taste, we now feel like we have at least a cursory experience of the numerous cheeses available. In short, a great place to visit and I would say a must for anyone visiting the area. You won’t be disappointed. Wallace and Gromit are fun too and we loved the ‘cheese walk’ where you go through an informative gallery/ museum culminating in a chance to see the cheese being made too. Excellent and very well worth a visit so go and take the family, the children will love it too! Thank you and enjoy your holiday in the area too, outstanding all round!

5 stars plus more !! Exceedingly good value !! We did the cheese making demonstration - superb. £11.90 for the two of us. Included the event was a 30 min talk/demonstration explaining how Yorkshire Wensleydale cheese is made (plenty of seating & live video coverage easy to see). Really well done, great chap thoroughly explaining it all. A view of the actual factory and the cheese being 'worked'. Cheese tasting - brilliant guy explaining about the different cheeses, where they are made etc. Lots of information boards, children's activities and play area. Parking free, no height restrictions. Then there's a gift shop, cafe and cheese shop. Again, very generous with the tasting. Toilets etc here too. We were really impressed. Tickets can be purchased up to 24 hrs before on their website, or pay at the centre. We were on the 10.15 tour, just 12 of us. The following tour looked extremely busy.

The eating experience is quite nice but none of us during our last visit liked the salad dressing which was too vinegary and drowned the salad and overwhelmed any enjoyment of having a salad accompanying the food
