Wendys Elland in Calderdale

Called in for a fish butty today 07/10/24 . It was delicious. I’ll definitely be back to Wendy’s Elland in the near future .

Eating it was fine but after I had finished my body rejected it and I threw it all back up again end of the day was pointless buying it since it came back up

Oh dear. I made a bad choice. The fish butty was very nice but I also tried a battered burger. Definitely not the fryers fault just a bad choice for me, way too greasy. But, each to their own. Would definitely have the fish again and lesson learned, fish, chips, sausage, spam and scallops are the only things that should be battered.

Fantastic fish & chips. I've been going here for yearsss..fish butty is always my go too on the menu. Highly recommend

Beautiful as always. the chips was really nice hope you do them like this from now on. They were tasty no sign of warm ups which is brilliant. Will definitely be ordering again 🙂

Absolutely the best chips I've had for ages! Definitely the chippy in Elland!!

Inedible !!!! Soggy batter on the fish, most of which must have been left in the fryer. The rest just stick to the paper. Result a very small inedible plate of mush with some of the fish almost raw and other parts over cooked. Piles of pale soggy chips to attempt to cover the badly cooked fish. Never ever will we buy our fish and chips from Wendy’s again. Vile !!!

£9 FOR A LARGE FISH THAT WASN'T ANY BIGGER THAN A NORMAL FISH ABSOLUTE RIP OFF

Even when told specifically what to look out for went to the wrong place, chips looked good in the picture but when got them they looked totally different soggy not crispy and squished into one big piece, doesn’t show how close they are to you, as for the drinks only wanted to get one but the slush flavour I like wasn’t there had to get 2 apple juice and one water, as well as needing to order a set an amount just to order needed to improve some things before I ordered again

I don't live in Elland I visit my fella , as he's just moved there ,, I'm from Todmorden. Well Wendy's chip shop is one of my top 2 chip shops in W, Yorkshire,, on part with Brackenbred chippy.. if you love old school real English. Fish an chips it's a winner 🏆🏆🏆... As not many left . Keep it going 👍.

The fish was really small I have taken a picture of it, I cannot believe that Is all that was put in the box. So disappointing as I have had good experiences here.

Just stopped by Wendy's in Elland and it was a fantastic experience! The food was as delicious as expected, with the burgers being juicy and flavorful, and the fries perfectly crispy. What really stood out was the service; the staff were exceptionally friendly and made sure our order was exactly as we wanted. The restaurant was clean and had a welcoming atmosphere, making our dining experience even better. It's great to see such standards being maintained. Will definitely be back for more!

Man not very chatty made me feel uncomfortable dint speak when I spoke to him found him very rude tbh Lady on counter very nice thow fish was like it had been sat there ages sweaty and flat went in bin 😳

Today I've spent 24 quid on food that was tenable fish was grey and cold at 6.20 for a fish balm cake I expect fresh cooked and warm chips were OK but I've had better and the curry sauce was curry powder with hot water. That been said my dig enjoyed her sausage today's food has made me think I will not be using you again

Waited 1.5hrs for food which is fine as I appreciate wait times are longer when it's busy and I was told It had been delayed. However was disappointed when it came everything was cold and soggy apart from the mushy peas, they were only thing hot which is a shame as the food would have been tasty had it been warm. But maybe this was just a one off as all other reviews seem good.

Was a bit wary ordering from Elland to Lindley however the food turned up beautifully packaged, piping hot and tasty. Won't hesitate in ordering again.

The Large fish WAS Large. Fishcake was a proper fishcake. It was big and made from fish and potato. NOT a mush of ground fish bits and potato. Well worth the price, (these days). I will order from here again. Food didn't need reheating as well

im not being a karen but i ordered my food just after 6pm and it came at 7:50. ive ordered at least 5 times from here and the food has been hot and nice. i ordered last night. the food came freezing cold. the scallops had no batter they were sweaty and cold. the chips looked and tasted like they were 2 days old. Completely over done but freezing. One fish had pratically no batter at all again was cold and stale. The barms were soft and good about the only plus. Im sorry but ive spent £30 for 2 fish and chips and this is what we got 2hrs later is disgusting. I wont be ordering again. People just cant afford to spend that amount of money on cold stale food and get this as a result.

If you’re reading this and hesitant to buy, don’t. These are the best fish and chips you will ever taste in Yorkshire amazing service as always

Over priced for what you get if you can eat them fish looks like its been double batterd to make it look bigger chips are small and scrappy same price as what you'd pay at the coast .... .

I was told Wendy's was excellent, so my expectations were high. I was expecting a juicy burger, what I got was a cheap round of reconstituted cardboard. A burger that would cost on average 60p when bought in bulk, that I was charged over £7 for. In order to qualify for delivery, I was made to purchase ice cream too, and then they had he audacity to charge me £5 for delivering what can only be described as utter disappointment. The best bit about this meal was the very lovely, very polite delivery driver. Sorry Wendy's, despite the glowing recommendation, you failed spectacularly.
